(Writers/Researchers & Video Editor Needed) Untitled Paranormal YouTube Channel

(Writers/Researchers & Video Editor Needed) Untitled Paranormal YouTube Channel

Project Overview

(Hey all, this is a very different kind of project than I’m used to organizing, so I do apologize if I request or describe what I’m looking for improperly. Please send me a PM if you have any further questions).

I’m looking for a writer/researcher and a video editor, to be long-term collaborators of mine for a paranormal/unsolved/mystery YouTube channel and podcast.

I plan to narrate, but I unfortunately have no experience in video editing, and my writing workload is already too big to stack this on top of it.

I’m looking for a writer/researcher who specializes in educational content. Someone who can produce scripts with accurate information by properly researching and cross-referencing different sources to apply to the final product.

With this being a paranormal/mystery channel, a dramatic flare should be added to the narration throughout the script. (Think Unsolved Mysteries).

Any reference to past work would be great for me to get a good feel of your capabilities.

I’m looking for a particular style of editing that mimics mystery shows from the 1970s/80s. The point of the channel is to emulate a vintage late-night program, mixing a series of footage and images pertaining to each subject. Imagine the warm, reddish 16mm film quality seen in older shows like In Search Of… & Unsolved Mysteries. I also picture this format sharing qualities with that of an ARG (Analog Roleplaying Game): so things like flickers, film skips, and static would occasionally litter through each video. I’ll attach some samples below that express what I’m explaining.
