At Osowiec, the Germans fought our brave army. UnableUmable to defeat the valiant men of Kotlinsky with strength of arms, they reduced themselves to poison gas, chlorine and bromine. Imagine their fear, brothers, when the dead men of Russia rose from their trenches and charged their positions, flesh sloughing off their bodies as they surged forward for the motherland! Germany learned a lesson there about the indomitable fighting spirit of the Russian people that they have not forgotten. We would have destroyed Germany in a fair war, tovarischi. But the Huns are devious. Against the people of Russia, they used our own - twisted agents of socialism, destroying support on the home front. Like a disease, they injected Lenin into our vast nation until his marxist rot collapsed the very foundations of our empire. We were forced into a humiliating surrender, and Russia suffered twenty years of humiliation and collapse.
Our great leader, our Vozhd Savinkov is the only man who can bring unity to Russia and reclaim the righteous motherland lost to us. But for that, Russia must be purified of the opposition who would paralyse us. The Leader has entrusted this task to us brothers, his most loyal party members. We are his arm, a blade in the darkness, and his secret police.
