Project Overview

Come on! The next world is waiting!
It all started when the coming together of two lost souls caused a shift in the cosmos,
and all the planets revealed themselves in their full splendor...
A boy and a girl met in a forgotten village, a mote of dust lost in an infinite sky.
He couldn't remember his past, and she couldn't picture her future.
For a while, they dwelt together in peace and friendship,
until fate struck like a bolt of lightning, bringing with it power that would change their lives forever.
That power came in the form of Light, once a great champion from a distant world, now transformed into a rabbit-like creature.
He was being pursued by agents of the Dark Throne.
As if to rouse the boy and girl to fight back against that malignant force, the village shifted and rumbled.
Then the girl spoke the following words:
So goes the prologue of a worlds-spanning epic about one boy, one girl, and one small animal.

I'm planning on dubbing a few World Flipper cutscenes (World 1); the game only has Japanese voice lines, but even then it is not fully voice acted. I find it really charming and it has lots of cute characters!
I am only casting currently for Garden of the Sprites. Other worlds may be cast for in the future.
Please keep in mind the following before auditioning:
- Please have a decent microphone, with no pops, peaks, and minimal background noise.
- Please have a Discord in order to communicate and share important information such as scripts and line delivery.
- You must be okay with plot spoilers for World Flipper.
- It is not required you play the game prior to auditioning, but I recommend you check it out!
- All scripts will be complete by the time of casting. Don't worry, you won't have to wait for any content and can begin voice acting your lines immediately after joining the server!
- Most importantly, have fun!! You can take inspiration from the Japanese voice actors, but there is no official English voices, so put your own spin on it.

A mysterious boy who alights in Starview Village. He has no memory of his past or the world he is from, and he is eager for new knowledge. He is cheery and, oddly enough, a marvelous chef.
Voice: Think generic JRPG protagonist. He is kind-hearted, a bit absent-minded, and has the generic "hero" personality while still being wholesome. Medium-high range.
Just look at the sky! It's so big. Who knows how many worlds are out there, waiting to be discovered?
Whoa! A talking mushroom! Am I... okay?
(Attacking a monster) Take this!
An enigmatic girl who can activate the World Flipper. Urged on by Alk, she leaves Starview Village to journey across countless worlds. She is frank and guileless, which proves to be both a blessing and a curse.
Voice: She is described as blunt and monotonous in tone, but is capable of showing kindness when caught off guard. She has a softer way of speaking. Medium range.
Welcome to Starview Village. I am its Keeper, Stella.
I am unable to determine this world's location nor the system it belongs to. In other words, it appears we are lost.
Greetings, little mushroom. Don't be afraid...
A champion-turned-creature who emerged from the World Flipper. Though small and fuzzy, he has a will of steel and leaves no cry for help unheeded. He joins forces with Alk and Stella, hoping to one day return to his own world and defeat the Lord of Shadow.
Voice: While in his human form he was more heroic sounding, I imagine him in his rabbit form has a more androgynous sounding voice (as his Japanese VA sounds this way).
Lend me your strength! We'll strike where it's weakest!
Where... where is this place?
I am the champion, Light... At least, I was. With his dark art, the Lord of Shadow transformed me.
A friendly tree sprite who lives in the forest. Although she's not quite human, her gentle smile and spirit are all she needs to establish a connection with others.
Voice: Challua is not a native English speaker, and so she speaks in the third person or without proper grammar. She has a soft, high voice.
Stella not broken at all! Challua knows. Stella nice. I like Stella! Challua and Shroombo your friends. Understand?
(angry) You big BONEHEAD!
Cu.. Curse... Won't... forgive... Kill... Kill...
A mushroom sprite who resides in the Spirit Tree. With its bright red cap and stocky build, it's very much a mushroom indeed. Although it seems to have also sprouted legs somehow.
Voice: Shroombo does not speak English, as he is a sort of sprite of the forest. He's pretty cute in my opinion, so I assume he'd have a cuter voice. Kind of like the Korok's from BOTW.
Palteek, claaaah?
(scared) Ch-Challuaaaa!
Noohp! Noohp! Noohp!
An undead soul who has lived for an eternity. Contrary to his ghastly appearance, he is a kind and gentle soul not without his own penitence.
Regitare is possessed by an evil force, causing him to be the main antagonist of the first world. However, the group defeats the force, freeing him of the possession. He is normally quite a fatherly and wise figure to Challua.
Voice: Considering the last line of this role, he has an English/British accent. He has a deep voice, and sounds quite scary while possessed, like a final boss would. But once normal, he has an almost paternal aura.
(possessed) Humans? WHY are there humans still here? You nettlesome weeds just won't stay dead, will you?
(possessed) Freeze and sink into the depths of Hades!
(After reverting back to his normal self) Ah, blooming 'eck, me 'ead... Oho! What are you crying for, my child?
