Winx Club: Season 1 (Fan Dub!)
Project Overview
When I was a child, there was this show on Netflix called "Winx Club". Something about the show really made me dive into it (Mainly because of how colorful it was and having a fantasy story). I grew up with the Cinelume dub of Winx Club. Funny story, I hd no idea there were other dubs of Winx Club (4kids, Nick, Dubbing Brothers, etc.) But as a young adult now, I want to create this series in my own interpretation because so much had happened after I grew out of it. There is Fate: the Winx saga which I didn't like, and some dubs from Winx club are a hot mess, (I wouldn't say for all the dubs) I really hope to do this project because this series means dearly to me, and I hope to get the chance with working with some talented voice actors too!
For those that don't know what Winx Club is, Winx Club is an Italian Cartoon made by Iginio Straffi and Rainbow S.p.A. In Season 1, it revolves around Bloom, a 16-year-old girl from Earth who discovers she has magical abilities, as she enrolls in the Alfea College for Fairies. Along with her newfound best friend Stella, a 17-year-old fairy, Bloom meets her new roommates Flora, Musa and Tecna. Together, they form the Winx Club. During their adventures, they become good friends and get to know some of the boys, called "The Specialists", from another school called Red Fountain, but also encounter some adversaries, including a trio of young witches called the Trix.
Side note: This is Season 1, All of the fan dubs will only be episodes from season 1, so don't ask where is Aisha, she's on her way! but hopefully with enough people, I can hopefully build the courage to fan dub other seasons!

Bloom is the main protagonist of the series, Fairy of the Dragon Flame, which is the most powerful force in the universe originating from the Great Dragon, an omnipotent deity that created the Magic Dimension. She is the most powerful fairy and the leader of the Winx Club. Bloom has a heart of gold. She cares for all of her friends, allies, and families (both adopted and biological) deeply, and is always willing to help and fight for a good cause. She has also shown herself to be selfless, caring, and a true capable leader.

Stella is the Fairy of the Sun and Moon, or the Fairy of the Shining Sun. She is a creative, skilled artist. Stella is Solaria's Guardian Fairy, as well as the sole heiress to the Solarian Royal Throne, signified by her status as keeper of the royal family ring. Stella has a cheerful and optimistic personality. Besides that, she is totally obsessed with fashion; which clothes look best on her, and which dresses match her face the best. Stella often gives fashion advice to people in Alfea, but this advice is often not taken well.

Flora is the Fairy of Nature. Her powers come from plants and nature in general. She ails from the planet Linphea. Flora is very kind, gentle, sweet, and mature. She is able to keep her head on her shoulders in a crisis, and is not one to panic. She is known as the goody two-shoes of the group, a position she likes having.

Musa is the Fairy of Music, and hails from Melody. She puts up a tough front in front of others, but deep down, she tends to be the most sensitive of the Winx girls, and gets emotional the most easily. Part of that may be due to her sad family life. Musa's mother died, and her father is often away doing tours, not having much time for his daughter, leaving Musa feeling lonely.

Musa, Magic Winx!
Tecna is the Fairy of Technology, with powers that come from computers and technology in general. She comes from Zenith. Tecna is highly intelligent. Like any good nerd, Tecna thoroughly enjoys math and science. She spends a lot of time doing things on her computer. As intelligent as she is, though, she does not always understand non-technical things, like manual labor. Some of the simplest things, like brooms and buckets, are completely foreign to Tecna. Tecna is not very good at expressing emotions. She looks for logic behind everything and is not good at understanding emotional-based decisions. She also does not outwardly show a lot of concern for her friends, though deep down, she truly cares for them all and would do anything to help.

Tecna, Magic Winx!
Icy is a witch who has been described as having a "heart of ice" and the eldest member of the Trix (a trio of witches) to which she is the leader where she wishes to rule the universe. Icy, as her name infers, is a cold type of person, and often acts cruel for the sake of being cruel to the point of being the cruelest, most vindictive one out of the Trix. She tends to act rude and ridicules people she does not approve of and her temper tends to get the better of her when things do not go her way.

Hello Bloom!
Darcy is a member of the Trix, a trio of witches, of which she is the most intelligent. Devious and manipulative, Darcy uses darkness, illusions, and hypnotics to confuse and control her opponents. Darcy demonstrates a sadistic personality but one that is more controlled as she is the least (openly) aggressive of the three. She seems calmer and more competent compared to her sisters and is also good at discovering others' weaknesses to exploit them later.

Stormy is a witch who is the youngest of the Trix, a trio of witches. Among the three, she is the most aggressive and self-confident. As her name and powers would infer, Stormy is a loud and wild young lady who is very quick to anger and rage. Even the most minor of annoyances usually lead to Stormy violently lashing and, out of the three sisters, she is the master when it comes to holding grudges. Cases of this range from trying to settle the score from a previous battle by either attacking more violently or even disguising herself to catch the object of her vengeance off-guard.

Sky is one of the Specialists of Red Fountain, school for warriors. Sky poses as Brandon, in order to avoid attempts on his life by assassins sent by enemies of Eraklyon, during which time Bloom falls in love with him, and he falls in love with Bloom. Despite being royalty, Sky doesn't seem very happy about it until he met Bloom. He is kind towards others and seems to have no problem making friends. He is also quick to spring into action whenever someone needs help. Sky has a strong sense of duty that sometimes.

Brandon is one of the Specialists of Red Fountain, school for warriors. Brandon poses as Sky, under orders by the King and Queen of Eraklyon to protect Sky from possible attempts on his life by enemies of the kingdom. Stella fell in love with him, thinking he was a prince, and was very upset when she found out he was just the squire. Likely, while Stella was certainly upset that he was not a prince, she was more upset that she was lied to. She has forgiven him since, though, and the two now seem very much in love. Brandon seems to be somewhat superficial, placing a considerable amount of concern on his appearance, but is also outdoorsy and athletic. He is a calm and collected person and rarely acts impulsively, unlike his friends; Riven and Sky. Brandon gives people chances when they had wronged him but if there is no improvement he does not bother with them anymore.

Riven is one of the original four Specialists. Initially an uncooperative loner, he has since become a more amiable member of the team. He specializes in resourcefulness and stealth, and is a skilled fighter. Riven is the impulsive, competitive, realistic and goal-oriented member of the Specialists. He can be rather hot-headed, experiencing moments of envy and blind aggression; but he is also protective and caring. Riven has trouble expressing his emotions in a suitable manner, even when he is not putting up a cold front. This often leads to him clashing with Musa.

Timmy loves technology, and flying ships from Red Fountain. He also has an IQ of 150, just like Tecna, and his aptitude for technology makes him the perfect boyfriend for her. He is sweet, but shy, and can even seemingly cowardly at times. He loves to be with Tecna, but he is shy and clumsy around her too. Tecna mentions that it is his sweetness and intelligence that impressed her.

Faragonda is the Headmistress of Alfea College for Fairies, of which she was once a student herself. Faragonda is a kind soul who cares for her students, but she will not put up with nonsense and will dispense discipline when needed

Griselda is the Head of Discipline at Alfea. as such, she is very gruff and strict towards students, but is generally kind to all the fairies at the school as she is shown to care immensely for them. She also has a deep faith in the Alfea fairies.

Palladium is a professor at Alfea. Palladium was not a very confident teacher and although very nice, his students did not respect him and treated him more like a pushover. However, he is shown to be capable fighter. He also displays that he knows quite a lot about nature.

Wizgiz is a somewhat eccentric Leprechaun professor who teaches at Alfea. He can be quite serious and also funny. He is seen as brave and resourceful throughout the seasons. He's shown that he not only cares for his students grades and abilities, but also for their being capable of making good decisions.

Saladin is the headmaster of Red Fountain. Saladin is shown to be a very wise and calm person. He also cares about his students and is willing help them when needed. He is however, not afraid to scold them. He also appears to be very protective of his school. Saladin also does not trust people easily, in particular those who have any relations with evil but he is quick to forgive especially when they have proven themselves.

Codatorta is the head teacher of Red Fountain and is considered the only teacher there. He is a strict teacher but he clearly cares about his students. Although strict, Codatorta knows how to have fun. Even during stressful situations, Codatorta remains calm.

Griffin is the headmistress of Cloud Tower as well as a professor there. Despite her stern, no-nonsense and seemingly indifferent demeanor, Griffin is genuinely a caring Headmistress who would defend her students willingly if threatened. She also has a humorous streak to her personality.

Zarathustra is one of the Professors at Cloud Tower, she is also a sister to Ediltrude. She is dedicated and knowledgeable in witchcraft and is devoted to Headmistress Griffin. Zarathustra is shown to have a bit of an angst against fairies and is rather cunning as she tried to cause them to be more prone to their dark energy and feelings. Zarathustra also has a dark sense of honesty.

Bloom's deceased older sister. She died while trying to protect her from the Ancestral Witches. Daphne demonstrates her resourcefulness; solving Bloom's problem with finding the secret library of Domino by giving Bloom her mask. With it, Bloom would be seeing through Daphne's eyes and see Domino as she remembered it before it was frozen. Even though there is a constant aura of mystery and secrets about her, Daphne is a loving woman, and a devoted sister to Bloom (she willingly sacrificed herself for her younger sister) to whom she acts as a guardian spirit of sorts, guiding her through her troubles with both her magic and adventures, telepathically communicating with her if she has any trouble.

Mike is Bloom's adoptive father. He found Bloom as a newborn baby trapped in a burning building. He rescued and later adopted her with his wife, Vanessa. Mike is a very protective person. He will not tolerate those who try to harm his family. He also had some issues when it came to magical beings and realms, seeking a more logical approach instead

Knut is an ogre. He is more strong than smart. He previously worked for the Trix, but at the end of the season, He becomes a part of Alfea. Knut was a wicked ogre aggressive attitude but soon after, he became noble, fearful and good. At first, he was very loyal to the Trix and had been working for them under their orders but he was considered to be futile and foolish. He has endured the Trix's verbal abuses but he is always called to clean up their mess.

Mirta is a girl who stood out amongst the other witches of Cloud Tower and has the ability to produce illusions using her imagination and emotions. Mirta is a sweet and shy girl who wants fairies and witches to get along. Mirta's personality is similar to Flora's. At Cloud Tower, Mirta was not fitting in, though she was nice to everyone else there. Mirta places a high value on friendship.

Lucy is a witch who attends Cloud Tower, and is also an only friend to Mirta. Lucy, like most witches, she is basically rude and shows great hostility to fairies, but is still good friends with Mirta, despite her leaving Cloud Tower. Unlike most of the witches however, she is much more insecure and cowardly (especially towards the Trix.).
Icy's powerful Mirta! Maybe she'll notice me this time, I don't want to miss this!

Diaspro s the Fairy of Gemstones and former arranged fiancée of Sky. Diaspro is a wicked and spoiled fairy who is not used to being told "no." Due to her higher social status, she tends to mistreat those who she sees as beneath her. She is very willing to do anything to get what she wants, even if what she ends up going against the moral code that a fairy should consider.

Mitzi is the school rival and neighbor of Bloom in Gardenia. Socially ambitious to a fault, she spent the larger portion of her life trying to be the most popular girl at Gardenia, often annoying and irritating others through her incessant boasting. Mitzi comes from a wealthy family and expects to get anything she wants. Mitzi is very self-centered, hot-headed. Mitzi is extremely spoiled, holds long-term grudges and loves shopping. A haughty person in general, she is usually mean to people like the Winx. She is shown to be a sadist as she enjoys tormenting and mocking people. Mitzi is also very cruel.

Erendor is the King of Erakylon and Sky's father. Erendor is an extremely strict, uptight, hotheaded, no nonsense man, placing duty above all else. It is his great sense of duty that can, cause problems in relationships. He will not hesitate to put people in their place. However, he can and will give praise when appropriate. He is protective of his own family and his people as well as prioritizing his citizens' safety. This protective side causes him to be stubborn, forgetting the importance of cooperation. Though it takes time, he is reasonable, and is able to see through these flaws and work through them. Erendor expects professionalism and often disregards personal relationships.
