Project Overview
Welcome to the Wings of Fire: Moon Rising - Graphic Novel Dub Casting Call.
Willowheart Studios had work on WoF Arc 1 GND, but now is passing the torch of Arc 2 to Convexity studios.
Common Rules for this project.
Be 13+ and have Discord and the ability to join 1 discord server
Able to access google drives
Have a mic of some kind (please do not record on your phone)
Be aware that some roles are LONG TERM
No harassment
How to Audition a Voice Actor role for the WoF Dubbing
Must have a clear mic, little to no background noise.
Follow the emotions correctly! You will have a higher chance of getting the role if you show actual emotion in your auditions
Some won't have [emotion] brackets in them, feel free to be creative
Know some of these roles are long term, so by auditioning for that character, you knowing that if casted you are in for a long ride with us!
If short (either be book 1-book 2) easy day
We are casting more than just voice actors as we need the following
Script Writers (Script writers are to help create script for our VA to make it easy for them to access their lines. As well as showing where to play cue dragon flying, or running sounds for our Video Editor.)
Video Editor (we will break this into 3 parts so the video editor/s can work on it without being overwhelm)
Singers (new intro song going into Arc 2 prophecy! Here is an example of Willowhearts previous prophecy song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lc0lIu5eChg This is something we want to carry on for the rest of the Arc)
Musician (For singers and Musician will be working along side our head musician Midi. We need your help in creating engaging music and writing the song and more importantly how our singers are going to sing it to be catchy and fun to listen to!)

Your role is to work with Midimistro, our lead musician/ head audio designer in making engaging background music, sound effects, scores and lyrics for our singers and script writers to create the ultimate masterpiece!
Use of FL Studio, any MIDI program or LMMS is Preferred.
Don’t worry If you do not have any and have your own program you are comfortable with, we can figure out ways to export unmastered tracks between DAWs.

Convexity Studios are seeking script writers to help transcribe each Wings of Fire comic book into a Google Document that editors and voice actors can use. To be clear, we are not producing original work, but are instead adapting the work of the author into an organized script to support the editors and voice actors.
One of the biggest requirements for members of the script writing team is having the dedication and time to help complete the script. As a script writer you can expect to transcribing, editing, and formatting the script for the use of other team members. It may take you a little time to get used to all of the formatting, but as a team we can take each page of the book and divide it among each of us, making the burden lighter. If you apply, thanks for your interest as you may be accepted. With your aid ensuring that each comic dub is well organized in its production, and that no line is left behind.
Submit the following in the audition space below:
- A submission of literary works, whether it be a story, essay, transcribe story or script
- Any other information that might be relevant
- A strong work ethic!
- Adequate time to perform required tasks and meet deadlines
- The willingness to follow directions and adhere to guidelines
- Access to Discord
- Access to Google Docs
- Access to the Wings of Fire comic (google drive)
- A knack for organization
- Good transcribing skills
- Reasonable knowledge of Wings of Fire (novel and graphic)

Secretkeeper is fiercely protective and anxious of her daughter, Moonwatcher. She is an adult and is a reappearing minor character in the WoF arc 2. isn't best mum, but she's trying

[confident] What if I can fix everything? This is the chance you wanted. You asked Glory to let you talk to the NightWings. You wanted to give them a chance to explain themselves — you wanted to find a peaceful solution, so you wouldn't have to pick sides in a war.
Bigtail is a bit two face, friendly and behaved, but has his own thoughts.

Icicle is brilliant, dangerous, and prefers to hunt alone. She cares alot for her looks and is more ferocious than her brothers.
She's antagonist to the group, with reasons to save her brother from Queen scarlet

Webs is pleasant but stern, he cares about his students but any threat comes, he would be helpless to defend them

He demonstrates stereotypical RainWing traits such as laziness and carelessness. He only thinks about himself, sleeping, eating and repeat

Is a kind, quiet, competent, and determined. Even though she is blind, she doesn't let it stop her from doing her best

But who gets to decide what's a good thing? Dragons would always be asking for spells or telling you your choices are wrong. And sometimes it's hard to tell what's good and what's just easy.
[Worried/concern] So do I. But I haven't been able to get the smell of smoke out of my nose since the explosion.
Firefly was introduced in Moonwatcher's vision of a possible future, not a lot about her is given, she is the daughter of Queen Glory and deathbringer. You can come up with accents for her or any lines

It'sa good thing we're so much smarter than all the dragons who lived before us. we'd never make their mistakes.
Carnelian preferred combat and was disinterested in making friends. She is aggressive, loyal to her queen and insecure.

She won't hurt me. I wonder if she remembers me.
Flame despises everyone. He is angry and grouchy, and he is more prone to losing his temper over situations rather than planning terror from afar. He is somewhat a minor ant-protagonist and is insecure

No one else wants me. No one can even touch me. You saw the fight today. How that dragon burn up. It's because I was born with too much fire. Usually when dragons like me hatch, the SkyWings drop them off at the highest mountain peak. That's, what my mother was going to do, but Queen Scarlet saved me and killed her..
Maybe I wasn't happy. But I also wasn't so worried all the time. I only had one dragon to please, and I didn't always manage that, but at least I understood what I needed to do.
[sarcastic] You're right! All my life I have desperately wanted an ugly necklace. Especially one that will melt as soon as I touch it against my firescales. Thank you so much! Best dad ever.

Scarlet is the most malicious, grim, terrifying, monstrous, power hungry, manipulative, vengeful, furious, sinister, insane, and murderous dragon in the story. She thinks about herself quite a lot and wants everything her way.

It's one of the things I can stand about you, none of the, moaning the guilt of another dragon. You were born to burn your enemies, to watch them plead their pitiful life's, Everyone fears you my darling, they whisper behind your back. But I don't, I am your only friend
Umber is a caring, observant, and loyal dragon, he wants to protect is family, friends and keep them safe, regardless of the cost. it's hinted he is interested in the same gender as he is
