Whump World- Dramatic Readings of engaging 'whump' stories. Chapter 4

Project Overview

Hello there,

It's that time again! I am opening roles for the fourth chapter of my audio-drama series titled Whump World

Whump World is a series of short 'whump' stories acted out as a full fledged audio-drama series. 

Each story features an inhuman 'whumpee' character going through a particularly intense experience that will keep your mind super engaged and reeling for a satisfactory ending!

This casting call is for a continuation of the first chapter featuring a poor unfortunate merman named Alek. 

(The series also now has official character images by talented artist, Teleport-Teapot. )

You may notice that the majority of this is narration, and the characters do not have too many lines, this is intended. 

The following characters are roles that are currently open for this project:

Caroline Chandler (Supporting) Note: Pronounced as 'Carol-line' and NOT 'Carol-lyn'. The CH in her last name is pronounced as 'Shandler'

Director Bryce (Antagonist) Pronounced as 'Br-ice' and NOT 'Bruce'

Extra Roles: Biologist 1 & 2.

    Hello! Thank you so much to everyone who auditioned for the open roles of the 4th chapter of my 'Whump World' Audio-drama project! There have been over 200 auditions total and I was not expecting such a large turnout for it! :0 I have a pretty decent shortlist of the auditions I like so I'm going to take my time in choosing today before making anything official. Please keep on the lookout for a message from me in the next day or so if you have been offered a role. Meanwhile you can keep in mind that the best way to support ANY creator is to LIKE/COMMENT AND SHARE their content. So regardless if you get casted or not, Please feel free to share my channel with others so to contribute to the cause of sharing my passion for editing & storytelling with the world. Caroline is a very smart & compassionate lover of all living things. 

She firmly believes in life and second chances, and often will make impulsive decisions based on previous experiences. 

*Caroline may be a recurring role, which is the main reason why the budget is a bit higher for her.

Director Bryce is the head of the Marine research team who has taken control of housing the captive merman. 

He is very black and white in his thinking and has a short temper, which makes him very hot-headed when set off. 

Director Bryce is an older guy in his mid 50's so his voice will need to sound older and cross.

  • I can see he's making a mess. Someone contain him before he damages all the equipment!

  • (Angry) So suddenly you're an expert huh? You are just an intern!!

  • (Astonished) W-What did you just say?
