Warioware: Smooth Moves- Form Baton Techniques Dub (9 ROLES LEFT)
Project Overview
Warioware: Smooth Moves has Wii tutorials that are both relaxing and comedic, so I thought this would be a fun little viddy to dub.
There are 19 different techniques, so 19 different Voices will be casted (no double casting: once you're picked for a form, you won't be picked for another).
Each Form baton technique is listed in the video, so I highly recommend watching to get a feel for the timing.
NOTE: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO IMITATE THE NARRATOR'S VOICE. You can speak naturally in your own voice, as long as you get the timing. Talk as if you're narrating.
Requirements
- A good microphone. The lines should have little to no background noise.
- Submit your best take in Stereo so that I can simply download and put in the video.
- Put your Discord ID/social media with your audition. I will contact you if selected, and if I need you to redo a line.
- Have fun! c:

Video Delayed for a few days/ Early May Release
Hello everyone! Remember when I said that I'd have this out in March or April? Well some of the voice actors messed up their lines, and I'm reaching out to them in order to resolve this. Currently waiting on one to respond and if I don't hear from them soon, there might be an emergency recasting. Aside from that, all the others are good and credited! It's just gonna be a regular upload, but expect a post sometime in the first two weeks of May! Thank you to everyone who participated. This was a silly idea, but I hope this helps y'all getting future roles. c: -
2022 Update
Hi hiiiii! It's been a long while hasn't it? Got a bit sidetrack by other projects, but I'm still workin' on releasing this sometime in March/April. So far, 5 out of 18 is completed, so I'm gonna grind to make that deadline! I'll also need to edit an opening as well, so I might have to draw a bit. Anyways, that's it for now. Talk to you guys later! -
Fixed It!
I fixed it. Back to editing. c: -
So... Bad News...
Sooooo I've been editing some more of the Warioware dubbing, and for some reason, I'm having issues with one of the audio files. Apparently, the background music got corrupted and generates a high-pitch noise instead of the music. It's weird because when I play it on the media player, its fine. I don't know what's causing it, but I'll try to figure it out. Until then, this project might be on an indefinite hiatus. So sorry this happened. I'll try and figure out how to resolve this.
"This is the most basic and popular of all the forms."
The Remote Control
Hold the Form Baton straight with the tip pointing forward.
This simple stance reflects one of life's fiercest--and greatest--sports: channel surfing.
"After the Remote Control, this is the second-most-popular form."
The Umbrella
Hold the Form Baton vertically, thumb resting lightly on the button.
Through this stance, you channel the quiet dignity of a circus clown in the midst of a thunderstorm.
"This is the most balanced form. Most Handlebar games require quick movements."
The Handlebar
Turn the Form Baton sideways and grasp the ends firmly in both hands.
Like riding a bicycle, perfecting this stance requires grace, steadiness, and tight shorts.
"This form is best suited for movements requiring precision. Use your dominant hand to perform this form."
The Sketch Artist
Hold the Form Baton as you would a pencil during a pop quiz, delicately but defiantly.
Mastery of this move can change a pop quizee into a pop quizzer.
"This form is best suited for gyrating movements."
The Chauffeur
Turn the Form Baton sideways and wrap your hands around both ends.
As the Form Baton turns, so too do the earth and all upon it, from liver to liverymen.
"You can feel the spirit of the samurai in this form. It's said that your breathing affects the outcome."
The Samurai
With your left hand, hold the Form Baton close to your right hip.
Like a hungry samurai defending his lunch, close your eyes and await your enemy's attack.
"This form has been taught from generation to generation. Lately, the tend has been to bring the hands closer together."
The Tug-of-War
With the Form Baton pointing forward, hold it firmly with both hands just above the navel.
This stance calls to mind the epic struggle between heads and tails.
"It's very easy to drop the Form Baton when performing this form, so be careful."
The Waiter
Place the Form Baton in your palm, tip forward and buttons facing up.
See yourself serving a group of socialites. Such grace, they cry! Such style! Such hors d'oeuvres!
"This form will make your nose look longer, but the point is to make it look appealing."
The Elephant
Hold the Form Baton forward with the end lightly touching your nose.
Just as the mighty elephant uses its trunk to gorge on peanuts, so too will your new nose sustain you.
"This relatively new form is actually an evolved version of the Umbrella. Is it just me, or does the evolution seem like a minor one?"
The Thumb Wrestler
Hold the Form Baton vertically and rest your thumb on the top of it.
The noblest of athletes, the thumb wrestler endures years of training before mastering this pose.
"It's helpful to have a flat surface nearby when playing these games."
The Discard
Place the Form Baton facedown on a stable surface like an unwanted, but still treasured, playing card.
Do not touch the Form Baton again until the proper time.
"Show-offs are quick to learn this form. However, that does not mean they do it well."
The Big Cheese
With the Form Baton at your hip, force your chest and hips forward.
This stance honors the CEO, unsung hero standing proud on the backs of his employees.
"This form is as hardworkng and effective as its name implies. Little-known fact: the Janitor is just the Tug-of-War turned upright."
The Janitor
Hold the Form Baton with both hands, as you would a mop.
The left hand represents order, the right, filth. The Form Baton is the bridge between the two.
"This is an easy way to hold the Form Baton, and it provides a satisfying weight in your palm."
The Dumbbell
Turn the Form Baton sideways and clutch it from below in your left hand.
True Masters exhibit a firm grip and an exaggerated grimace.
"Games that use this form require whole-body movement. It might be a bit of a challenge for players who have not exercised in a while."
The Mohawk
Point the tip of the Form Baton forward and hold it atop your head.
Letting the Form Baton fall is like letting a mohawk droop: shameful and forbidden.
"This form requires fingertip strength and control. It's best suited for relatively uncomplicated games."
The Finger Food
Holding the back end delicately between two fingers, point the Form Baton forward.
The regal french fry remains one of nature's greatest muses.
"Compared to the other forms, this is the most relaxed way of holding the Form Baton."
The Boxer
Turn the Form Baton and hold it firmly from above in your left hand.
Let the spirit of the noble sucker punch guide you to victory.
"This form is interesting because it places much responsibility on the non-dominant hand, the right hand."
The Mortar and Pestle
Hold the Form Baton vertically in your left hand and cup it gently in the palm of your right.
To crush is also to create, and from squashing comes spice.
"You need the Balance Stone for this form. There are actually three versions of the Diner."
The Diner
Hold the Balance Stone in your right hand and the Form Baton in your left.
Stay vigilant. The battle for seconds is always sudden and fierce.
