We have finally casted everyone! For almost 90 auditions, We finally went through and listened to everyone's wonderful talent! And congrats to the cast!
VRChat Horror Map (4M, 2F)
Project Overview
"Ever thought of babysitting? Well, you're in for a bloody treat."
Hello everyone! This casting call is a great opportunity for those who wish to voice in a VRChat horror map! We are looking for auditions for NPC's that help you to the goal, or block you from the goal, and Monsters that will haunt you for the time you are there. If you feel adventurous, why don't you audition? It'll be fun~
The VRChat Horror map takes place in 1992. After an unfortunate incident 3 years prior with another babysitter, Player or Players (Between 1-4) come to babysit a young 7 year old little girl. What lies in the mansion is up to you to find out, will it help you recover? will it delve into your childhood nightmares? or will it devour your soul into an endless fight of insanity? It's up to the players to find what lies in the mansion via puzzles, strategy and avoiding monsters to fight your way though, whether it is through your childhood fears or fighting through what you think is fear.

The deadline for the Auditions is March 17th 2021. All auditions will be accounted for until 12AM Eastern Time-zone on March 17th. Then the auditions will be looked through and discussed with the team making the game, and then release the cast list at 12PM Eastern Time-zone on March 17th. All of the audition lines for all characters are test lines. The only one with the real lines is the Shadow character.

Here are some of the important details when auditioning for the project. And PLEASE READ THIS. It is VERY IMPORTANT. If you do not read it, I will not count your audition as an official audition!!
+ EDIT: After talking with some people, I decided that the Horror map's proper rating is T aka 13+. The 18+ was a misconception, but I ask that the voice actors are now 17 and over to voice in this!
+ Please note your Name, Age, VRChat Handle (If possible), Name to be credited if no VRChat handle is given, and Discord Name for being involved into the Server for the Horror map.
+ Microphones need to be great to excellent quality. There should not be any feedback in the recording. I.e Blue Snowball and Yeti's are fine for recording, but anything under that or a bad quality microphone will not be accepted.
+ DO NOT SLATE Your Auditions! That is why I ask of the auditions to mention their name, age, etc in the notes provided for the audition in question.
+ While we provide examples of voices, feel free to make the character your own voice! Creativity with voice acting is a plus!
+ Have fun recording! We want this project to be fun, not stressful.

Less then 1 hour!
Less then 1 hour until we cast the last remaining characters! It was a blast to hear everyone's auditions, and I'm excited to work with the Voice Actor crew for the game! Also, Happy St Patty's day 🍀 -

This character is a 63 year old butler with significant importance to the gameplay of the VRChat Horror map. The character is also from England from a certain point of time, so make sure to give the character an English accent. He is like any other butler, a very gentle soul, excellent in posture, very accommodating to guests, respecting everyone and loyal to the Family of the house. Think of Alfred from the Batman TV Series when doing this voice.
(Greeting) "Please, come inside. The masters were awaiting your arrival."
(Accommodating) "Have a seat, I will speak with the masters to let them know you are here."

This character is a 49 year old man, lord of the mansion with major importance to the gameplay of the VRChat Horror map. He is seen to be a kind gentlemen with a loving wife and child, but has a severe drinking problem and could be possibly abusive. Try to make this voice your own. Fatherly for the most part, but is drunk when he drinks.
(Greeting, warm) "We welcome you to our humble home. Please feel free to stay as much as you need."
(Drunk, Slurring) "Hey there.... *Hiccup* Didn't see you there! Feel free to have a drink... *Hiccup* I'm... heading to bed."
(Maliciously) "Well done... didn't think you would get rid of that bastard..."

This character is a 47 year old woman, lady of the mansion with major importance to the gameplay of the VRChat Horror map. She is seen to be a kind woman with a loving husband and child, but can be strict and possibly could be abusive. Try to make this voice your own. Motherly for the most part, but can be strict and malicious.
(Greeting) "We thank you for coming short notice, we couldn't reach any other babysitters to babysit our little girl."
(Maliciously) "So..... you found the pieces.... I suggest you put them where they belong, and leave this room...."

This character is a mysterious woman, very major importance to the gameplay of the VRChat Horror map. She seems to have a sultry voice, but will have another voice, a normal human voice later on in the game. Try to make this your own voice. She is very protective of the child but is willing to help the players in their time of need.
(Sultry voice) "You've seen it, haven't you...? a room where nobody's eyes reach. Here is a key to it, why don't you go seek the truth...?
(Human voice) "Thank you so much for your hospitality.. I was afraid we would be stuck out on the road."

This monsters has less significant importance to the gameplay of the VRChat Horror map. The clown serves as a childhood fear, even some or most adults are scared of clowns. Think of Funtime Freddy by Kellen goff when doing this voice.
(Happy) *Insert wacky giggle* "Hey kids! How about a balloon? I've got plenty!"
(Malicious) "Oh come on, don't you want to play? I'll make not to bite... hard!"

This monsters has less significant importance to the gameplay of the VRChat Horror map. The shadow serves as a childhood fear, a fear of the dark or the monster in the closet, possibly a stalker in most people's lives. Think of the Joker from the TV Animated series with the laughter, but try to make the voice in your own way. Creepy, breathy sounding. Sound effects could be added, but optional. Another voice reference would be the engish voice of Isaac Foster from Angels of Death.
(Malicious) "Found you...." *Insert Maniacal laugh*
(Malicious) "Oops, I missed. Better luck next time." *Insert Maniacal laugh once more*
