Project Overview

Voidwalker is a Fiction podcast about a man who goes insane. 

I'm not going to act professional because I don't think I need to. I want to make something queer and weird and freaky and slightly scary. A man who is trapped in the darkness with nothing but a tape recorder forced to recount his past until he understands why he's here and how to get out and most importantly how to see without his eyes. 


I'm looking predominantly for under qualified people who want to contribute to creative works for the fun of it, people like me. 

I would rather someone who is slightly interested in project and has no voice training to someone who isn't intrested in the project who has 413 awards. You get me? I hope you do. I'm sure you do.

I don't care about software, even if you are just recording on your phone. I just need decent quality. 

Episodes will be 5-15 minutes long, predominately with you as the sole speaking role. Scripts are provided, but changes and adlibbing is allowed

The character is a joyful happy man who falls into the brink of insanity. Although the character is male, I wouldn't mind a traditionally feminine voice. 

I would perfer a voice actor who isn't too experienced, but very passionate. Also, someone who also cares about the project and character and is willing to get involved outside of just the role. Not like doing work, but I want to hear your opinions on the character.

  • Hey, Krishna here, I mean obviously it's me because I'm still completely alone here haha. Ok, but in more serious terms there was nothing on the rest of the tapes. I think I checked them all but I really have to feel my way around because there aren't any lights. I kind of wish I invested in one of those light up keychains that last like forever.

  • Hi, my name is Krishna Karna and I'm stuck in a building. Today I woke up in a pitch black room. I thought for a while that I was still asleep but I'm starting to believe that this isn't a dream.

  • Krishna again. Sorry, there's just not much else to do here except for record so I think I'm going to talk a little bit more into this thing. I'm a little confused on why whoever put me here didn't just kill me. All of this effort for what? And why leave me with things if I can't be let out.

Simple edits to existing scripts, clarifying voices, ect. Gramar should reflect perfered intonation and might not always be textbook correct. 


Necessary platform is google docs, discord is suggested as this is where most of the work happens.
