Veritas - Subject to Change
Project Overview
The main character (the role you will be performing) is a scientist who has just created a new form of life. The scientist records himself regularly in order to track his research, studies and thoughts. Because of his new creation he starts having some weird dreams, he starts having doubts about who he is and what is real or not. The audience will follow how this character slowly turns crazy and how he can by the end free himself from his doubts, thinking that he is back to reality, but is he really?
This 2D Animated Short Film will be a not too sequential narrative sequence with a lot of insert shots in the form of motion graphics that are going to help the main theme of 'what is real?' to grow. You could see this story as an input from myself about reality and dreams.
I don't think I need to mention this but obviously your name is going to be credited by the end of the film. We would work by email and/or discord.

I am looking for an ADULT MALE (around 40 years) with a NATURALLY DEEP VOICE that can go to higher pitches sometimes, to voice over my animated short film. Although I am asking for a VOICE OVER, the role still asks for A LOT OF PERFOMING, as if the charcather is narrating the story that he lived. This is a really INTELLIGENT character that by the start of the story will sound just like a happy and normal person but as the story goes he's going to turn MAD, CONFUSED and TIRED.

The creature is exhibiting fascinating behaviors, and is growing at an alarming pace.
As it has grown stronger, so has the intensity of my dreams.
Am I awake now? How can I know? The creature feels omnipresent, like it’s sharing my mind.
