Vance Vanguard
Project Overview
In this adventure, the legendary space heroes Vance Vanguard and his smartass best friend, Nick Starr, embark on a mission to retrieve the mythical artifact known as the "Star of Eternity." Tasked by the mysterious Lady Selara, who serves the powerful queen, Queen Zoraña, Vance and Nick journey into the depths of the Vault of Time, an ancient and treacherous labyrinth protected by monstrous stone guardians and traps.
Along the way, the duo encounters Kethros, a seasoned tracker, and guide through the Vault’s dangers. However, the biggest surprise comes when Nick adopts a curious, friendly creature—a neon-pink Glorbian blob he names Shu—that turns out to be more helpful than anyone could have expected. As they confront lethal traps, mystical puzzles, and fierce guardians, Nick's pet Shu proves instrumental in navigating the Vault’s perils, and the team finds strength in both new alliances and unexpected friendships.
Amid ancient mysteries and unlikely allies, Vance, Nick, and Shu's journey is a high-energy blend of action and humor with the fate of the Star—and perhaps the galaxy—on the line.

Vance defends the cosmos from evil, like evil aliens and glorbians. (Glorbians being monsters that live on neptune). But he's set on the moon for now.
He is 29 years old.
Char info:
Vance sports a dark brown, medium length undercut with curtain bangs and some hair down in the back. His skintone is white, maybe a little lighter than usual.
His everyday outfit is a black shirt featuring a white logo of the moon emblazoned on the front of his shirt, loose dark blue jeans, and red sneakers.
Vance's voice would probably be in the medium-low range. He should sound sort of like a teenaged boy, even though he's an adult man.

"These crystals are a scam," Vance said, eyeing the vendor with suspicion. "My ship is the best in the galaxy. It doesn't need any of your gimmicky stones to work.”
“So, Kethros,” Vance said, breaking the silence. “How dangerous is this vault? On a scale of ‘annoying’ to ‘we’re going to fucking die.’”
“Yeah,” Vance replied, his eyes fixed on the approaching blobs. “They’re tough, but manageable if you don’t let them swarm you.”
Nick is Vance's "sidekick" best friend. He helps Vance in battle whenever he needs it.
Nick is a year younger than Vance, 28.

Nick has long, straight black hair with neon green streaks in his bangs. His bangs are similar to Vance's. His skintone is darker than Vance's, maybe a little tanned.
His everyday outfit is an open leather jacket with a bunch of pins and patches of bands such as "Black Flag," "Misfits," "Dead Kennedys," "Descendents," and "Green Day." Black slacks, a black Misfits shirt, and black boots with light blue laces.
Nick's voice is deeper than Vance's. He sounds his age, unlike Vance.

Nick’s eyes widened as he gazed at the door. “Whoa... this place looks like something out of a nightmare.”

Queen Zoraña is the Queen of the "Celestial Kingdom" on the planet of Zemtarg. She has a soft, yet authoritative voice.

"Greetings, travelers," the queen said, her voice echoing with authority. "I am Queen Zoraña of the Celestial Kingdom. This message is for those who possess the courage to undertake a royal quest. There is a great threat over our realm, and we seek help from skilled bounty hunters."
"Excellent," Queen Zoraña said, her image flickering. "Your first task is to locate the ancient artifact known as the ‘Star of Eternity.’ It is hidden on a distant planet called Zemtarg. Good luck, and may the stars guide you.”
Lady Selara is the assistant of Queen Zoraña.

Selara gave a slight smile, though it didn't reach her eyes. "I serve the queen directly. And it is my duty to assist those who accept her quests."
Selara’s smile widened, though there was something ominous about it. "Ah, the Star of Eternity... a powerful and ancient artifact, indeed. But I must warn you, retrieving it will not be so simple. The star is hidden deep within the Vault of Time, protected by an array of defenses that have kept it safe for millennia."
"But," Selara continued, "I can provide you with a guide. The path is treacherous, and only those who know the way can navigate its dangers."
Kethros is the "guide" to help Nick and Vance find the star of eternity.
