Vamp Sabbath Webtoon Fandub
Project Overview
Howdo! The name's Grimbo, and I'm here because I'm wanting to make a fandub of one of my favorite webtoons known as Vamp Sabbath, which is written and illustrated by @ drunkenfix on Twitter! The art style and story are absolutely amazing, which has heavily inspired me to make a full fandub of this series!
Vamp Sabbath follows the main protagonist, Tristan, as he gets himself (begrudgingly) involved with a vampire by the name of Logan and his human friend named Vana. They both end up dragging him into their shenanigans, and eventually into becoming the guitarist for their band, Vamp Sabbath,
If you are unfamiliar with this webtoon, I recommend reading it here first (https://tapas.io/episode/1173187) (though it's not mandatory that you read it to audition, just highly recommended). This comic does have LGBT themes and slightly mature content, so if you are not comfortable with that, please do not audition. A lot of roles will be filled within the "Extras" tab, so I highly encourage everyone to audition for said extras!
REQUIRMENTS:
- Please be 16+ to audition
- Have a good quality mic, USB ones are fine, as long as they're used in a well treated space
- This is a non-paid, long term, passion project. So I ask for your patience whilst the videos are being edited

Lysander is Logan's dad, and is shown to be a very traditional vampire, but please don't do a comedic vampire voice. I imagine him to have a medium - medium high voice. He appears very direct and subdued with his emotions in his speech, as well as seeming to be rather condescending, so a slightly monotone, yet sharp delivery is what I'm looking for, though please feel free to use your own interpretation if you have one!
[Sour/informative] "undoubtedly, Sven. you know how much I despise the council calling me to get scolded for such buffoonery."
[melancholy/saddened] "I'm a failure of a father, aren't I? I can not even face my own son..."
[awkward/"trying" to be cheery] "hello, son. After talking to Sven, I realized I haven't been the best parental figure to you. So I'm here to, huh-... Bond"
Sven is the Velfast family servant, however he is still a vampire so please keep that in mind. I imagine he'd have a much deeper, almost baritone voice, being very informative and straight forward with his speech.
[informative] "I don't remember them specifying the issue of concern."
[Stern] "You were on the frontpage of the local newspaper! You know perfectly we must keep ourselves low-profiled."
[Slightly angered/ raised voice] "You must respect the rules and oblige to the council!"
Junes is Tristan's co-worker at the cafe he works at, She's very encouraging and supportive of Tristan's music, even if he isn't. Voice wise, I'm looking for a medium tone, with a spunky and energetic delivery!
[Happy, then worried] "Hey Tristan! What's with the long face?"
[persuasive] "It's a music contest! And it has a big cash price. it also says solos can participate. I bet the ones that write their own songs get extra points!"
[Encouraging] "And don't you dare come back without that first place, you hear me?!"
Maurice is another vampire who runs their own club, exclusively for vampires. Maurice is nonbinary, so a more androgynous voice would be fitting, however not mandatory, a more fem sounding voice would also be fitting. preferably a medium-lower mid tone with a flirty, "whimsical" affliction to it.
[Slightly flirty/charming] "My My, aren't you a handsome one? my name is Maurice Malamour. I've heard quite a bit about you already..."
[Irritated] "Dark Lord almighty you are DENSE. Out of all of us you're the one he's in most danger with!"
[off-handed] "Well I'm no seer, but I totally saw this coming"
Count Roach is your run-of-the-mill Nosferatu, grimy, slimy and isolated from society. his voice should be medium - medium high, with a very raspy slimy voice!
[Annoyed/commanding] " WHAT IS A VELFAST DOING IN MY SEWERS?!"
[Sly/cocky] "HeHeHe... I don't think so Velfast... The council granted me this land meaning everything in it belongs to me!"
[Grossed out] "Human blood is disgusting, okay?"
[Bitter/annoyed] "What do you mean Logan is playing again? he won the past three battles, shouldn't we have a chance too?"
[Happy/Chirpy] "Oh hey I've seen you before! Aren't you the guy that plays in the Ol' country bar?"
[Concerned] "Oh? Are you alright? You're very sweaty. Is it a fever?"
Please try to use a different voice for every line/take, show off your range! I will also be casting Mr Faux through this, at the time of this casting call, he only has one speaking line, however he shows up a handful of times, if you'd like to audition for him, his voice should be a deep tone, gruff and older, please do some deeper growls and grumbles on top of the one line!
[Ominous/hissy] "Do we need to go through some of our rules concerning this again, Lysander? We do not befriend humans. We do not bring them to our homes. And most importantly... we bite to kill."
[Disheartened] "That Logan dude sure drags in a lotta people."
[Reporting in/ police voice] "Yeah we had a problem involving alcohol. And drug usage"
(Mr Faux line) [yelling/ telling Tristan to stop] " TRSITAN, NO!!!"
