Project Overview
Update: this project is officially cancelled. Due to the closing of this project's larger group, I am no longer going to be heading this one up. Sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused. I am planning to do a different, much shorter story soon, so stay tuned for that!

Hello everybody! This is ProtectTheAlphaWolf and I am coming on the behalf of Stalene's creepypasta voice acting team. We're currently looking for people to fill the roles of some characters in an audio drama adaptation of the one-shot creepypasta, Uncle Gerry's Family Fun Zone.
This is an adaptation, and some aspects of the story may be changed in order to fit an audio drama format.
Members are required to have a good microphone, with little to no static in the backround, and must get their lines in on time! You will be invited to our Discord server unless you are already part of the group.
Keep in mind that this production is still in the pre-writing stage and I as the writer haven't penned the script quite yet. It may be a while before you get your lines in!

Project has been cancelled
So...I logged into Discord today and realized that I have been kicked from the project I was previously a part of for being inactive. I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little disappointed I wasn't personally told of this and had to ask, but I understand, and acknowledge the fact that yes, I was pretty much inactive. (Notifications are turned off in my house because they drive my mom nuts...yeah...) Anyway, the project is officially cancelled. I just don't have the time to write another story on top of what I'm already writing, and school is making it so that I can only handle voicing the occasional voice acting gig, so yeah, my apologies to those who auditioned. I wish you all well. -

I have been very impressed with all of your auditions so far! While the roles of Will, Mark and the narrator have been taken, we are still taking auditions for Caroline and Tyler! Caroline is the girlfriend (and in the future, wife) of Will. She is a bit eccentric, but she's generally loved by her teachers and classmates, for her good grades and charming looks, respectively.
She's kind of a Mary Sue at first, and is quite a bit like the character of Mary Jane from the older Spider-Man comics; the stereo-typical pretty straight-A student who is "thrust into danger" and is commonly found in old cult classics. She's the kind of girl to hang on the sleeve of the guy as they explore an abandoned house. However, as the story progresses, she becomes more and more creepy, and plays a huge part in the frightening climax.
Again, old Caroline will be considered first for this role, but anyone is welcome to join, as long as their voice is close enough.
(Surprised/Hint of giddiness) "It's *only* the most famous ghost story in town! Everyone's talking about it! You never heard?!?"
(Scared/Frightened) "Will....I don't like this.....maybe we should go back!!"
(Creepily)"....not young enough...."

Will is the future husband of Caroline and one of the main characters in the story. He's a typical, American high schooler, give or take. Needs a young, clear voice. Imagine the kind of kid who would wear a sports jacket and drive a cool 1970s car.
If you are cast for old Will, be sure to swing by young Will and try out here as well, as I want their voices to sound as close as possible, just older, if that makes any sense. However, if you match the voice well enough, the role is open for a different voice actor.
(Peeking over at Caroline's drawing in class)
"What the heck is an...Uncle Gerry's Family FunZone? Is it some sort of new amusement park?"(responding to Caroline's question)

Mark is the main character and is the friend that Caroline and Will relay their story to. A widower, Mark lives with his only child, his seven-year-old son Tyler, whom he dotes on and tries to parent as best as he can. He once dated Caroline for a while in college, but their relationship didn't last long. His age is somewhere in the early 30s range. A deeper, more adult-sounding voice would be preferable, but you're free to do your own take!
