I̲N̲T̲R̲O̲D̲U̲C̲T̲I̲O̲N̲
- Hello all to those coming to this page! My name is torr and i am one of the founders of tophatbird productions! a small company i founded that creates shows/shorts with a very very small budget outta fun!
i've been an animator and writer since i was 15 where i created my very own series "Soulgrinder" and more recently just finished off "fluffy fighters" which i animated/wrote and directed by myself along with help from A fantastic composer and voice actors!
Just note that any projects done here will have a very high chance of being finished so we got that as a bragging right WOOHOO~! <33
However with many projects we want to keep expanding our horizons and increasing the size of what we can accomplish...which is where i bring in a brand new project from tophatbird productions...
S̲E̲R̲I̲E̲S̲ ̲S̲Y̲N̲O̲P̲S̲I̲S̲ ̲A̲N̲D̲ ̲A̲B̲O̲U̲T̲
- Synopsis: in a kingdom run by magic, a young prince finds himself missplaced and must make his way to safety while a greater evil lurks in the shadows waiting to strike...
SO! as the synopsis says the series will focus on a character named cassian! the main protagonist, the show itself is a mixture of fantasy/comedy/drama and at some points even horror, my favourite combinations >:D there wont be anything too extreme violence wise but still best to advise that this will contain alot of relatively sensitive themes regarding nihilism, our purpose in the world ect. and is heavily inspired by game of thrones/skyrim
AS A HEADS UP: please be 18+ to submit auditions, also keep in mind that the first seasons success will determine whether another season will come out, i cant guarantee that i can finish this show in its entirety but i will damn well try my best.

- If you get accepted, you'll be given a discord link In Dms to the server which is where your homebase will be, from there on out i will be Pinging about updates/scripts and so on! if your not comfortable joining the discord im always happy to give/recieve lines via email

PAYMENT (VERY IMPORTANT)
This show is being funded entirely out of my pocket so a low budget is unfortunately all i can do at the moment, this project is something i wanna do for fun and whether it sees huge success/financial success i wanna do whatever i can to ensure crew/cast are given something for their efforts!

a 19 year old spoiled prince, cassian comes off as rather snobbish and rude to commoners at first but has a more different tune when talking to someone of high royalty, hes capable of showing respect and being polite and classy and knows his place, he can be easily intimidated by authorative figures in royalty.
cassian despite being rude/naive has a good heart and struggles with his purpose in life as his training is behind along with the pressure of being the next big savior of his kingdom. he eventually learns to respect his fellow peers commoner or not. (his personality is described as naive, nervous, short tempered, snobbish and adventurous)

Harvox is the cold, calculating, scheming yet powerful uncle of cassian, harvox harbors resentment to his brother the king after being snubbed of his throne but remains polite and neutral when speaking to him which makes him a more dangerous enemy to have. (Harvox's personality is described as calm, collected, cold and highly intelligent, albeit he has a habit to underestimate people which often has him thwarted) (HIS VOICE IS AKIN TO SILCO FROM ARCANE but am open/more happy to hear your interpretations ;D)

Elmont is the witty powerful and skilled sparring teacher to cassian and the royal advisor to the king, despite being sarcastic/smug and playful he also knows how to do his job professionally and manages to do both things greatly.
he has a deep loyalty to house winstria and will always stand his ground against others even if it means sacrifice, his personality is described as calm, sarcastic, dry humored and witty

Herlog is the gruff intimidating and calculating commander of the winstrian army, he has no hesitation to kill when needed and is often the one that does the kings dirty work. he takes honor very very seriously and loyalty to him however is often determined by what he thinks is right. his personality is described as gruff, intimidating, calculating, intelligent and is unafraid of who he faces

Aerin is the disgruntled cousin of cassian and son of harvox, he is best described as a snobbish, uptight bully who constantly mocks and ridicules everyone who talks to him excluding his father who he secretly craves approval from. despite his annoying exterior aerin deep down is simply a troubled and misunderstood young man who feels hes failing to live up to his fathers expectations.(think of this character like joffrey baratheon albeit not as sadistic but from his personality standpoint)

One of the fabled and powerful guardians of the kingdom, telltriox is an intimidating, powerful and outright powerful figure who currently stands as the warden of crystals. he has a very tough, no bullshit attitude and takes his job very seriously to the point he often isolates himself to fully focus on defending the kingdom.
his personality is described as cold, quiet, no bs, calm and calculated

one of the five wardens, charles rules the east of the kingdom and while other wardens try to take it seriously charles is often more lax on his rules citing that the kingdom is never in danger. he is described as a sadistic, slimy, no good, sarcastic and dry humored untrustworthy individual that'll do more damage than good if given a high position of power.
despite his sarcastic and cheery demeanour charles is an extreme force to be reckoned with and has a history of cruel experiments given to rogue mages
(think of his personality akin to negan from the walking dead except without the morals or quips negan carries :)
(his voice im sorta looking for something husky/batman goon like but not overdone!)

despite being a warden errat is the softly spoken, polite and elegant aunt of cassian winstria residing all the way in the south in a secluded independent kingdom. Errat often tries to be the voice of reason within conflict and will do whatever it takes to protect her family (older sister and nephew) as she was unable to have a family of her own.
throughout the show errat has a reputation for being beautiful and for having an "angelic soothing voice" described by many commoners
errat is described as being elegant, beautiful, polite, softly spoken and strategic given the circumstances
(IMPORTANT NOTE: her role is considered minor for now as she appears later in the season and isn't present for a while but plays a bigger role in future episodes if they end up being made :D)

a menacing skilled warrior shayroth is leader of a nomadic tribe that stands out from the rest due to its harnessing of magic through weaponry. shayroth is described as intimidating, tough, gruff but fair and usually resentful of the wardens due to her past (IMPORTANT NOTE: she comes in later in the season)
