Tower of God Webcomic Dub: Season 2 Auditions! [PART 1]
Project Overview
Hello everyone!
My name is Joe Goffeney. For the last three years, I have been in charge of the Tower of God Webcomic Dub on YouTube, along with the rest of my team. Recently we finished with Season 1 of our Dub, and now we are looking into potentially finding new actors to fill the roles of the new characters introduced in Season 2. We currently have over 80+ actors involved with this project, and we plan on regularly releasing new episodes either late August or early September.
I am looking for voice actors for a few major and supporting characters that are coming up in Season 2. Once you are cast, you will need to submit sample lines and possibly episode lines within a few weeks, meaning you will be working as soon as possible! Even if your character isn't present for a majority of the series (although a lot of them are quite prevalent), I would be more than happy to have you stay onboard the project for other potential future roles.
Please keep these rules in mind before auditioning:
Rules
1. You must have a solid-sounding microphone, featuring clear audio with next-to-no background noise.
2. You must have a good attitude; we will not hesitate to recast you if problems arise.
3. Keep in mind that this project will be going on for a very long time; if you're in this, you're in it for the long run!
4. Keep in mind that we have the right to look for an actor elsewhere for any of these roles if we decide to do so.
5. Have fun!
Thanks everyone! Hoping to work with you soon.
~Joe

Miseng is a young teenage girl with an initially childlike persona. She becomes wrapped up in the story of Tower of God once she becomes a member of Team Sweet and Sour, an 8-person team trying to make their way up the Tower. At first, she doesn't seem to display any significant levels of strength or skill as a Scout, but overtime she learns how to make herself useful as a member of the team. She has a kind heart, and although she starts the series off as extremely naive, she matures over the course of Season 2.
Position: Scout
Rank: E-Rank
First Appearance: Season 2, Chapter 1
VOICE:
High. - Similar to a naive and innocent young teenager, but not as high-pitched as a child's. Her childlike personality should shine through her voice.
"I'm sorry for being useless... please don't throw me away. To meet my mom and dad... I have to get to the top of the Tower..." - Sad; pleading innocently.
"You tried to kick me out on first sight. You almost hit Auntie. And you look like a bad person!! Mom and dad told me not to make friends with bad people!!" - Angrily shouting in a child-like way.
"I want to help too! I can't just stand by and watch any more people die! There are people we want to save too!" - Mature Miseng; after years of struggling up the Tower, she's found something inspiring to hold onto.
Prince is a teenager/young adult who is the son of a wealthy businessman, and thereby was spoiled his whole life. He believes himself to be above everyone else, and his arrogant attitude features prominently in the beginning parts of Season 2. However, as the show progresses and his minions abandon him, Prince starts to change and becomes more modest with his arrogance. In fact, after he joins Team Sweet and Sour's 8-person group, he starts to care for his newfound friends and even starts to show some examples of heroism. However, despite his character arc, he still tends to overestimate his strength.
Position: Light Bearer
Rank: E-Rank
First Appearance: Season 2, Chapter 5
VOICE:
Medium. - Altough he looks young, his voice shouldn't be absurdly high-pitched. It should sound like a spoiled and arrogant young punk. His wealthy upbringing should also reflect in his arrogant tone. His voice can certainly go deeper when he's trying to be intimidating.
"But, are aren't you forgetting something? Think, idiot. If I beat you here, your plan goes kaput, right? From where did you all get the confidence to make a plan like this. You weaklings!!" - Arrogant; proud and narcissistic
"Are you telling me to be concerned for those who're going to fail right now? Stop annoying me on my date and buzz off. Before you get beat up." - Sly and self-centered.
"Climb the Tower by borrowing the strength of others? No, that's not it. They're borrowing my power to climb. So just sit quietly by my side." - Arrogant.
Urek is an Irregular and a High Ranker, boasting the position of the fourth-strongest being in the entire Tower. Because of his immense power and position, he is feared by many inside the Tower. He is known for his ruthless nature and confident attitude. However, despite his legacy, Urek is a decent guy who respects courage and bravery when he sees it. He likes a good fight, and isn't afraid to intimidate others through his immense and powerful aura. He knows how cool he is. Extremely handsome, and one of the most popular characters in Tower of God.
Position: Fisherman
Rank: High Ranker, #4
First Appearance: Season 2, Chapter 29
VOICE:
Medium/Low. - His voice needs to be intimidating, and so a more mature voice would be appreciated. Although he is a muscular and powerful man, his voice shouldn't be too low, and it needs to maintain the "coolness factor" his character oozes onto the screen.
"What fun would it be to become the king of the Tower? Tell Jahad to keep his boring seat. I will get out of the Tower. Outside the Tower, there exists a vast world, rolling skies stretch endlessly, and countless stars illuminate the darkness. A place that is a thousand times -- no, a billion times wider and freer than the tower. Once you imagine that such a world exists, don't you think all those things you want are all so trivial?" - Describing his ambition.
"You are just a little worm that can't even talk unless you have a host. And yet you called yourself a God? You don't look like a God to me. You just some useless vomit known as 'Revenge' spewed from the mouth of the Administrator after he died." - Intimidating, in a cool way.
"Alright...NOW let's have some fun!!" - Excited; shouting out to Team Sweet and Sour, particularly Viole.
Robdevil, also known as the "Devil of the Right Arm," is a bodyguard hired by a wealthy company owner to travel with his son, Prince. He appears to be intimidating and quite strong, and his quiet and silent nature only adds even more to his intimidation. However, it is revealed that Robdevil is not actually the "Devil of the Right Arm," and is in fact using the real Devil's persona to his advantage. When he is defeated by Horyang shortly after his introduction, his attitude quickly changes from intimidating others to begging for his life.
Position: Unknown
Rank: E-Rank
First Appearance: Season 2, Chapter 6
VOICE:
Low. - Intimidating in its lowness. He is typically quiet, and when he speaks, he's scarily calm (except for when he is brutally defeated).
"Hey, friend... Have you ever seen a Devil? I will show you." - Quietly intimidating.
"This is not just some mere punching game. This is 'real', brat. Give me the remote. Before you die." - Quietly intimidating.
"AAAAAAARGH!! Argh!! AAAACK!!.........Please...let me go...p-please forgive me...! Please...please...ARGH!!! AHHHH!! Please...I beg for mercy! Please forgive me...Mr. Devil...I was wrong...it's all my fault..." - Getting beaten up and subdued by Horyang; pleading for his life.
Augusgus is a High Ranker, and a secret member of FUG (a terrorist organization within the Tower). He acts as the Test Supervisor of the 20th Floor. He apparently prefers "Fried Chicken" over "Spicy Chicken," and comically feuds with his subordinate Mule Love over this preference. However, he secretly communicates with FUG during the beginning parts of Season 2, and it is implied that he pulled many of the strings involved during Team Sweet and Sour's 20th Floor Test. Calm and manipulative, but not necessarily a villain, Augusgus is a mysterious character.
Position: Unknown
Rank: High Ranker
First Appearance: Season 2, Chapter 9
VOICE:
Medium/low. - Scarily calm; slightly intimidating in his calmness. He is the boss,
"Keep calm, Love. You're just in charge of the test. You can't harm the boy because of some personal business. We must be fair." - Talking to his subordinate, Mule Love.
"Evil is such a vague term. We have to follow the rules absolutely." - Calmly talking to Love.
"Don't touch that boy." - Calm, but scary.
