Toontown: Corporate Clash - Outback Toons (PAID)
Project Overview
What is Toontown: Corporate Clash?
We're a non-profit game studio that aims to bring a new and refreshing experience to the classic Disney MMO, Toontown Online. The game was shut down by Disney in 2013 with tens of thousands of players still interested in the game. Our goal is to bring back it's legacy while adding new content to the game that has been requested by players for years.
What is the task at hand?
These auditions will be for the chance to voice some of the main characters of the game, known as Toons. Toons come in a wide variety of different species. From Cat, Dog, Mouse, Rabbit, to even wackier and more exotic options such as Turkey & Bat.
We're introducing a new set of Toon species to the game, called Outback Toons. This group features species primarily from the outbacks of Australia! Kangaroo, Armadillo, Kiwi, and Koala. And they're looking for that special talent to voice them!
Any other things I should know?
Toons are cartoon animals, not humans, so they don't say specific words! They use cartoony feeling animal-like sounds. It's important to remember that this is a game for players of any age, and it should reflect that in the voicing! Toons "speak" through sounds, such as the Dog's "ruff" noises, or a duck's "quacks". But try not to be too on the nose with your auditions, the idea is to give the toon an authentic feeling character!
Some animals, such as Koala, definitely don't sound what you would consider "toony" in reality, so this job offers up a lot of creative freedom to create a unique or innovative twist for this toon voice. I urge you to check the Google Doc attached below for more reference on toon sounds for more info and to really get a sense of what is expected.
Why should I be excited?
Toons are the characters people play as. Players get to create their own toon, select their own species from the entire list, and customize it to their extent. Each time that player types and sends anything in the game, it could be your voice work people hear! The game is played by hundreds to even thousands of players daily, and your work will be exposed upon that! We can also offer accreditation in our in-game credits.
Examples & Other Info
Each toon has a few different sounds for the length of text the player uses in a certain message. They also have unique sounds for expressions, such as a question sound, or exclamation sound, for when players use ! or ? in their typed messages.
All the listed sound types and examples of toon's sounds can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/152ch8A2AEYwOzxJIfxAoC7UyJ448JQI-sk7nORUM8Nw/edit?usp=sharing
We would prefer for you to have a fairly clean sounding microphone when auditioning (Little/No Background noise/Pops). Feel free to audition for multiple roles!

This was my first real listed project on Casting Call, and it was successful! I definitely learned a few things about managing and detailing projects doing this. Thank you all for auditioning and doing your part to help out this game that many people pour time and effort into for no cost to the public!
