TOMMY: Experimental Horror ARG
Project Overview
“Tommy is just a little guy in a big world trying to get himself seen. That’s why he started up this channel! He wanted everybody to get to know a little piece of him, and what better way to do that than with cute little animations and telling funny stories with all his friends? But things about his stories don’t line up… weird things keep happening in his videos and all of his friends feel… off. And strangely… little pieces of a never-ending puzzle start to pile up.
Something is lurking.
Something is hidden.
His friends want to know just as badly as you do…
Maybe somehow we can fix all of this?
But in the end… can we really control it?”
TKT (Me) and the rest of the Tommy Project team introduce to you: "TOMMY!" A multi-media, multi-format narrative experiment ARG experience.

Right now we're in the very early stages of production, and I want to get three talents to do voice work!
We know that we’re asking for unpaid talent but we'd love to have you in our project for the fun, passion, and grittiness of this art piece we're excited to share.
Right now we need **Two male voices** and **one female voice**. Experience is not needed, and you do not need to link previous work, but both are encouraged!
We are also casting for non-listed roles, so if you don't get one of the principals, your talent is still appreciated!
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS:
PLEASE NOTE: There is a narrative and tonal difference in the lines. Things ‘In Tommy’s Universe’ are upbeat, cartoony almost, with only a slight edge. Things 'Outside of Tommy’s Universe’ are dramatic, gritty, but overwhelmingly realistic.
Think of Tommy’s Universe as Looney Toons and out of his universe as Breaking Bad. (If that helps you at all, haha!)
Wes The Dog
In Tommy’s universe: Wes is a white canine with an avid love of sports and picking on his friends. He has a very competitive spirit, and fulfills every angle of the ‘jock’ stereotype. He’s good natured though, and not a sore loser. He’s horrible when it comes to feelings however, and prefers to joke around when things get serious. He’s got a bit of a mean streak, but it’s all affection. He’s what you could call a love-able asshole!
Outside of Tommy’s universe: Wesley is a deeply solemn and goal oriented individual. He’s a natural leader, comforting the others after bouts of insanity and assigning them tasks to help with their mission. He’s highly driven to figure out the predicament that he and his friends have found themselves in.. and how maybe they could fix all of this. His leadership can come off as arrogance, as he assumes control and doesn’t hold back. Even if who he’s talking to is sensitive. The others sometimes find him cold, but deep down they know that he cares.
Freddy the Fox
In Tommy’s Universe: Freddy is an orange forest fox with a gremlin-like personality! He’s a little guy with so much personality bursting out of him! He loves video games, and shares in Wes’ competitive spirit, but is way more of a sore loser. He’s loud, unfiltered, and does and says whatever comes to his head. An absolute agent of chaos, this little guy. He’s attached to the hip with Wes’, viewing the jock as his ‘best friend’ (even if they constantly piss each other off). He can be a bit selfish, and maybe he isn’t all that smart, but he still cares about his friends enough to try and cheer them up whenever they’re sad.
Outside of Tommy’s Universe: Fred is a loud, abrasive pessimist who isn’t sure if there’s a way out of the situation the four have found themselves in. He’s suspicious and paranoid, often critiquing Wes on what he might address as his ‘bullshit’. He’s a sharpshooter, and he can spot lies from a mile away. Fred is the one who hates being in Tommy’s universe the most, feeling like it's the farthest away from his actual personality. Still, he gives a shit about the others and will check on them to make sure they haven’t given up. Even if he might have.
Giselle the Gazelle
In Tommy’s universe: Giselle is a soft-spoken, philosophical soul who likes to express herself through music and poetry. Whenever she speaks, it’s in verse, often rhyming or symbolizing something past her words. She ‘believes love is integral to her very being’ and defines music as ‘the heartbeat of the universe’. She’s a little mysterious, and doesn’t talk as much as the others but they still adore her. Especially when she gives good and meaningful advice.
Outside of Tommy’s universe: Giselle barely ever speaks, the most corrupted by her ‘newer existence’. The others fear her a tad, as she keeps to herself, and things often go wrong when they approach her. However, they have a deep affection for her. When she isn’t quiet she maintains her poetic and graceful nature, just in a more sad and depressing tone.
