Tokyo Ghoul Manga Dub - Additional Roles Needed
Project Overview
Hi, thanks for checking out this casting call. What I'm looking to do is make a video series on Tokyo Ghoul where we simply give it a little more life. I'm enlisting the help of voice actors, musicians, and anyone else I can to make something great.

The caring old man with a strong sense of capability. He owns a coffee store, he's very caring, and he's a mentor to many of the characters early on in the story. He's not around for the full story but in the first half he's pretty important.
"He looks like a ghoul to me. (mildly threatening) Giving aid to our fellow ghouls is our policy, is it not, Touka? "
"Touka. I wonder, do you know the news about the organ transplant incident that happened recently?"
"Brewing coffee is much like dealing with people. It simply can't be rushed."
Shuu Tsukiyama begins his role in the story as a creepy British man who enjoys coffee and books. During that time he's a villain who kidnaps Kaneki, the main character. Later, he grows a pride in being a loyal servant to Kaneki as he rises in power.
The voice must be sensual and British. I would like to see it be as close as possible to the English dub version from the anime.
"Isn’t it arrogant to put a price on whether life is ‘higher’ or ‘lower,’ Kaneki? We are just bags of meat. The weak bow down and the strong devour them."
"You don't need to blame yourself just because you've hurt someone, just like when you're walking you can't really blame yourself to crush some ants... that's what being stronger ones means."
"I'm not going to protect you by being your shield or armor, but I'll be the dagger hidden below your pillow."
I need someone to take all the audio files and put them where they belong in the video with the image files. Any Editing software is acceptable. I'm excited to work with you.

In my video series for Tokyo Ghoul manga, I need original music to avoid copyright issues. If you can play and compose original music, I'd love to hear a sample of your work.

Naki is a very dumb ghoul with a giant heart. He starts off the story as the right hand man to a mafia boss style ghoul. He has had no education, and he mixes up basic concepts like left and right, and he doesn't have a great vocabulary. His arc is about how he grows to be a good leader. In the end, he finds himself a large family and he opens a school for ghouls. (he might be my favorite character)
(very dramatic) "There's so many memories welling up in me. I can't fight... the tears won't stop."
(very cool) "If I'm gonna die, it'll be in a way that I can brag about to big bro on the other side."
"He went left, wait no, right. (to himself) the hand that makes the L with the thumb and the... Yea, he went right!"
This character is fairly quiet, but has a strong presence. He's a bit older and used to be a lot more violent and crazy in his younger days, but now he just wants to live peacefully and protect is niece.
"I think I see what Yoshimura sees in you. I also want to see what you'll become."
"Calm down. Eat."
"Uta, what is the meaning of this?!"
A middle-aged scientist and ghoul fanatic who wants to see ghouls and humans live together peacefully. His voice should reflect his age and have a slight hint of arrogance or realistic craziness.
"Ghouls. They're tongues are built differently from ours. Any food that they try to eat, they'll be overwhelmed by an urge to vomit it."
(condescendingly) "You know nothing, simple reporter."
"Ghouls. They interest me. I want to help them."
An old scientist with a deep voice. He experiments on ghouls and humans, trying to make a perfect fusion between the two. He's the doctor that operates on the main character turning him into a ghoul.
"I wonder how you're doing... my beloved prototype..."
"So this is death. How very interesting."
"Thus does the cage break."
