To Hell With You 💖 (Demo)
Project Overview
To Hell With You 💖 is a visual novel -type game with a focus on characters, built using Unreal Engine 4 aimed at PC-platforms and Android. It's set in a fictional pan-European setting with mild sci-fi elements and features a cast of university students with colourful personalities.
You play as a set character with her own personality, but you can steer her decision making, which most commonly translates to choosing which of your friends to spend time with and who to engage romantically.

To Hell With You 💖 (Demo) is the same project, but very limited in scope, which we hope to bring to crowdfunding to fund the production of the larger project. We don't have the budget to pay you for the demo. Though luckily it's a very short script.

Cynthia is the player character and therefore some of the lines need to work in different versions of the scenes. In the demo she's in a relationship with a very hard to like character who expects her to be submissive to him (Prussia, one down in the list). Since players can embrace or reject this dynamic, and flip flop between different approaches at will, Cynthia's delivery should be somewhat ambiguous.
Her personality is very snarky, and a little lazy. She's shy and bad with new experiences, but tries to not let it show. In these scenes she will be in good company though, so she should sound comfortable.
Cynthia will be in a sex scene and will say a few embarrassing, submissive things.

Prussia is an incubus demon. He's also a fucking asshole. Super selfish, and doesn't understand restraint. He's very flirty, fairly mellow, a little girly, but can sometimes be strict.
Prussia will be in a sex scene and will need to moan into the mic quite a bit.

Is a bit of a dudebro and makes crude jokes at times, but still comes across as a considerate/genuine person. Has a very close relationship with his sister who is his best friend. They're in the "Witch club", which on paper is for people interested in occult things, but in practise is mostly about getting high after school.
If you can do a convincing male and a convincing female voice, consider applying to both Alexsi and Alexsia. We want to maximise their similarities. They have different personalities, but we want the player to be able to confuse them.

Danielle is all about snark and stating her dislike for whatever you're doing. She's not mean or cruel, but can be a bit direct. We would like Danielle to have an upbeat voice and come off as energetic.

Valarie tries to act mature and is fairly mature compared to the rest of the cast. (Same age). She focuses on her studies (Marine and maritime law), but is very easy to be around and agreeable. Her older sister Nanu has always been a source of worry for her, and the year before the game she disappeared without any clues. She's back now, but acting extremely strange. Valarie has a lot on her plate and the stress is getting to her.

Nanu is very guarded and private. She comes across as 'hard' and strict, easily irritated. In familiar company you can see her more casual side, but she feels pretty intimidated by Cynthia, the player character, because she's got a unreasonably big crush on her boyfriend.
She's into fitness, and has taken aikido classes since she was small. Currently she studies kendo at university. She's a masochist who likes getting hit, which has led to her getting into fights a lot as a child. Identifying this behaviour, she convinced Prussia (MCs boyfriend) to hit her instead, in a more safe and consensual environment. Prussia now has a girlfriend, and Nanu is jealous and feels she might be abandoned.
This character has screaming lines, and says some awkward submissive things.

In the full game, Han Seon is a fully fleshed out character and a potential love interest. However in the demo he only has a few lines.
He's sensitive and cheerful. A little naive. He's got a crush on Cynthia, the player character. The game is in English, but in the fiction they're supposed to be talking French. Han Seon knows French very well, but has lived in Korea all his life and only moved to Europa (the French-speaking country the game takes place in) a little before the start of the semester, so a slight accent is okay. But absolutely not necessary.

Feel free to audition if you're a lady. He's got a very small frame, and presents as cute and 'available', so a lighter voice matches his personality.

She is the headmaster and martial arts protector of the school the game is set around. She shouts a lot, and is always angry. In the full game she'll have a bit of sage-ness to her, but her demo appearance is very small. Five lines and a few grunts. Just be as dramatic as you can.

Michael is one of the "bancho", or martial arts utilising school-protectors. In the full game he is a fully developed love interest, but he only has a very brief appearance here. He's the gentle giant character type. He values loyalty and justice, and is studying to become a veterinarian. His best friend is a martial artist dog named Tora.
The three lines above are all the lines in the demo. "Uggh..." comes after being stabbed through the chest with a knife, and then failing to recover. Fun times. The more straight-faced the delivery, the better.

Snake Insane is the boss of a gang organised around a rival university. Their deal is that they wanna beat up the MC and her friends (and everyone, really). She's sarcastic, feminine, and she likes violence. We want her to sound like she's enjoying herself thoroughly enjoying herself, but at the same time she should seem calm and in control.
