Project Overview

Hello! Thor: The Ballad of Blake is a 3D animated fan series made in Blender that is styled to look like LEGO pieces. It is a part of a larger "brick film" universe of interconnected projects, the Marvel Lego Universe

The log line is as follows:

Thor Odinson is dead, and a new hero must take his place to thwart a scheme by the All-Father, Odin, who is blinded by rage and grief for his son.

This casting call is for the prologue episode, which is a short that will depict the death of the original Thor. Good raw quality is preferred, but if you're a phenomenal talent, I am willing to put in the leg work.

    Hello all! Thank you for such fantastic submissions. I have been reviewing them as they come in and already have a few picks shortlisted, but choosing just one for each role will not be easy.

A secondary character. Balder, half-brother of Thor (unbeknownst to either) is stoic, yet kind. Tone is not relevant, but I need a bold voice that signals that he is the mightiest that Asgard has to offer. He is an incredibly skilled warrior, and survives even the most difficult of situations with the aid of an enchantment that makes him invulnerable to most forms of harm.
