The Walking Dead YouTube Comic Dub Series By Psycho Cat Studios

Project Overview

The Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic comic book series created by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Tony Moore – who was the artist on the first six issues and cover artist for the first twenty-four – with art on the remainder of the series by Charlie Adlard.

I am looking for talented voice actors who can bring these characters to life. Hopefully, my direction will help. I am not looking for impressions of the characters in the TV show. I'm looking for people who discover the right voice for the character(s) they have. People who can give their own spin that feels right for the character.

You audition for the character you think you can do well in. If you are given the role, you'll be given a list of the characters' appearances, the pages they appear in for you to record the lines, and an overview of the character to help you get to know the character (The overview will also be there in the characters audition spot down below). Make sure to read the specific scenes your character is in so you can understand the situation the characters are in and to know what lines your character has.

We want dedicated voice actors that will stick with the project! It's a long series (193 Issues) and if you are given a big role, we expect you to stick with the role.

When recording your lines do multiple different takes so I can have a pick at which is the best while I'm editing (3 good takes).

Mic quality has to be decent (No background noises, no muffled audio, no movement of the mic while recording, no white noise, etc.)

It is a NON-PAID project. However, like many free projects, I will make sure to share your social media pages and give you exposure to other projects. You will also get experience.

You will be credited at the end of each issue you're in, links to whatever social media you want to show off will be in the description and I will give you a recommendation for your work on Casting Call Club! I will also have you in mind if I'm working on any other projects if you are interested. However, for now, we're just working on this particular series.

Make sure you have Discord and an email so you can contact you and send you your stuff. If you have Discord you can join the server I have with the other VA's :)

Having fun is the main goal here! Thank you for reading and hopefully, you'll be interested!

CARL GRIMES

AMOUNT OF ISSUES = 129

Carl Grimes is the deuteragonist and a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. He is also the protagonist of the final issue. He is the son of Rick and Lori and the half-brother of Judith Grimes. He joined Shane Walsh with Lori to travel to Atlanta, for the refugee camp.

As time goes on, Carl slowly becomes hardened, due to the severe loss of life of the loved ones around him. He has also had to adapt to the new world which Rick was reluctant for him to do, but has done so with as much brutality and animosity as him. Carl is one of the two remaining Atlanta survivors and is the sole surviving member of his family. Carl eventually shifts into a leadership role much like his father. He takes it upon himself to take more risks for what he believes to be right. This is recognized by Rick, who begins to have more faith in Carl and his independency; a far cry from his previously protective nature. After Rick is murdered by Sebastian Milton, Carl honours his father's legacy by sparing Sebastian's life, much like his late father once spared Negan in the hopes it would allow them to build a more civilized world.

Appearance-wise, Carl is an adolescent Caucasian male with black hair and brown eyes. He shares the same hair color with his mother; as the series progresses, he matures physically and grows out his hair. In Issue 83, Carl loses his right eye after being accidentally shot by Douglas Monroe. He subsequently uses bandages to cover the injury. In Issue 105, it is revealed whilst Carl primarily uses the bandages for medical purposes, he also uses them to hide his wound due to his insecurities surrounding his new appearance. He eventually stops using bandages and instead covers the right side of his face with his bangs. During the two year timeskip, Carl starts wearing a pair of glasses with the right eye blacked out. However, after being convinced by Lydia not to hide his injury, Carl stops covering it completely and leaves it exposed. He also begins slicking his hair back around the same time. He would retain this appearance from Issue 138 until Issue 192.

Personality-wise, Carl is described as vindictive, blunt, stubborn, and habituated. At the beginning of the series, Carl was a normal 9-year-old kid, playing with dirt and things alike. He seems to have a better notion of what's going on with the world, as he wanted to learn how to use a gun, much to his mother's displeasure. Carl matured pretty quickly when he saw Shane trying to murder his father, right before shooting Shane in the neck. He would remember this occasion several times in the future, but, still thinks Shane was a "bad man".

  • Carl (Innocent, Eager and Excited) asking his dad can he go hunting with him and Tyreese. “Can I come to? I can help. I shoot real good.”

  • Carl (Casual almost cold/emotionless) talking to Rick and Abraham about killing Rick’s best friend, Shane. At this stage Carl has been desensitized when it comes to taking a persons life. He’s already witnessed so much death and destruction that just the idea of talking about killing someone is just as normal as having breakfast. "I shot a man in the neck. I didn't like him much. I didn't like how he acted around my mom. But he was nice to me... Most of the time. Then he went crazy -- was going to kill my dad... so I shot him. I saw him bleeding to death. He was scared. Not as scared as I was... I think about it sometimes. It used to make me sad -- But now I'm glad I shot him."

  • Carl (Distraught, Frustrated) yelling at his unconscious father. Carl is close to tears. "I don't think I need you anymore. I was scared at first when you got sick-- but now, I'm not. I'm not scared at all. I don't need you to protect me anymore. I'm strong... I've grown up, I think, a lot. I'm not an adult yet, but close. Close enough. I don't think you can protect me anymore anyway... You couldn't... you... You couldn't protect Mom or Judy! Or Alice! Or Allen! Or Tyreese! Or Donna! Or anyone! You can't protect anyone!"

SGT. ABRAHAM FORD

AMOUNT OF ISSUES = 43

Abraham Ford is a main character and a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. Before the outbreak, he was a U.S. Army Sergeant and a sports coach. Following the death of Tyreese, Abraham later takes on the role of Rick Grimes' right-hand man. Abraham's main role in the group is as a tactical advisor and pragmatist for Rick in keeping the group members safe from any type of threat. He is also a troubled man with a certain thirst for violence, but only engages in violence with people who threaten him or his friends. Abraham is one of the few survivors who lost his family. For him, this remained a great loss which he struggled to overcome, thanks to comrades, friends and Rosita who helped him get through a lot. In the first place, he always protect his friends and comrades.

Before the outbreak, Abraham lived in Houston, Texas, and had an ex-wife, Beth, an 8-year-old son, and a 6-year-old daughter. He lost his family when the dead rose, eventually stumbling upon Dr. Eugene Porter - who claimed to know what caused the zombie epidemic - and convinced him to take him to Washington. Abraham then began heading for Washington along with the doctor and Rosita Espinosa, with whom he later develops a romantic relationship.

Prior to meeting up with the survivors, Abraham was living with his family in a community of locals in a grocery store, hiding from the undead. One day after returning from a scavenge mission at the local depot, he discovered his wife and daughter had been raped by the rest of the community and his son had been held down to watch. Abraham killed the culprits with his bare hands, practically turning one boy inside out, while his family watched. His family ran away from him that night, terrified of Abraham. The next day he found their eaten bodies and the undead body of his daughter, whom Abraham shot in the face. A few months later, Eugene and Rosita joined the group and they began the journey to Washington in hope to find a society still intact. On the way, three of the group tried to steal some food and sneak away. Abraham shot and killed them, Abraham saying, "I can't get over how easy it was. How much it didn't upset me. I can't get over how much I've changed. How much my family would hate what I've become." Abraham is a brave, pragmatic and short tempered man who thrives in the heat of combat. He greatly enjoys a good fight. On the exterior, he appears to be a violent, cold and detached man, but beneath that façade he is very sensitive and suffers extreme guilt for previous murders and killings. He is desperate for emotional support, which he initially gets from Rosita and later from Holly.

Though initially hostile to the Survivors, believing them too inexperienced with the apocalypse, and a hindrance in his mission of delivering Eugene to Washington, D.C., he grew to accept them, and become the group's main enforcer, replacing the hole left by Tyreese's death. He also formed a close bond with Rick, relating to his experiences of family loss in the apocalypse, even after the two clashed for leadership in their first meetings together. After Eugene revealed himself as a liar, telling the group that he is not actually a scientist, and has no clue what caused the apocalypse, Abraham loses confidence in himself. This causes him to step-down from his joint leadership role with Rick, believing Rick to be a more capable leader, and he settles as Rick's second in command, helping Rick make any important decisions, but, not involving himself too much in group matters. It is also revealed that Abraham never loved one of his traveling companions, Rosita, despite telling her so, and was only with her for her comfort seeing as she was the only woman around. He decides to cheat on her by sleeping with an Alexandria Safe-Zone resident, Holly, after saving her life. He tells Rosita that he only formed a romantic relationship with her because he did not want to be lonely, and that she felt like the last woman on Earth to him, in a way doing it out of pity for her. However, in his dying moments, Abraham tells Eugene that he wants him to look after Rosita, saying he just wants her to be happy like he was with Holly.

EUGENE PORTER

AMOUNT OF ISSUES = 82

Eugene Porter is a main character and a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. He is at first an awkward, sloppy and depressed, supposed government scientist who knows how the apocalypse started and how it can be cured. Eugene was traveling with Abraham and Rosita who protected him with their lives, until stumbling across Rick's group and revealing that his mission is a lie.

Despite putting everybody's lives at risk he slowly becomes a vitally functional and hardened survivor who also displays brutal loyalty towards his friends. Following the end of the war against the Saviors, Eugene became extremely valuable to the survivors, acting as the leader of the Herd-Duty Crew and Ammunitions Production under Rick's management. He also led a small crew of survivors from the Alexandria Safe-Zone to the Commonwealth.

Before the outbreak, Eugene was a high-school science teacher. It is unknown whether or not he was aware of his diagnosis, but Eugene was born on the Autism spectrum, most likely Asperger's. Like many survivors, he was unprepared for the harsh realities the zombie apocalypse brought, and believed he lacked the skills or experiences necessary to survive. As a teacher, he realized his skills were his intelligence, and he combined this with his self-belief in his ability to lie well. He utilized his advanced general knowledge to survive, and at some unknown point, he cut his hair and fashioned it into a mullet. When asked why he did so, he reasoned that it took attention off of his intelligence.

Eugene's greatest strength is his large intellect. On multiple different occasions Eugene has displayed great feats of intellect, such as being able to use factory equipment to craft bullets and heal wounds such as gunshots with relative ease. Eugene's intellect makes him a great asset to the group, with him often being kept away from the action in order to keep him safe, a notion Eugene does not always approve of. In recent times Eugene has used his intellect to help build Alexandria into a thriving beacon of hope in the harsh post-apocalyptic world, being able to design buildings such as mills for the community. Mercer also notices that Eugene is "Smart. Like, Build-a-new-car-if-given-the-time smart."

During the early months of the apocalypse, Eugene realized his intelligence would not be enough for him to be able to survive in the post-apocalyptic world. Knowing he is not a great fighter or a very brave person, Eugene used his ability to tell convincing lies to others in order to survive the undead. Deciding to call himself a top government scientist with knowledge on how the zombie outbreak started, Eugene manipulated Abraham Ford and Rosita Espinosa into protecting him from threats with the false promise that Washington, D.C. was a safe area, thus ensuring his continued survival in the post-apocalyptic world with little effort needed on his part.

Once Eugene's lies eventually caught up to him, he decided to rethink his way of living in the post-apocalyptic world. When a herd breached the Alexandria Safe-Zone, Eugene showed increased bravery in the face of danger and stood his ground while fighting off numerous zombies alongside his fellow survivors.

  • Eugene (Strong/Brave) trying to motivate people who are scared to fight off the undead. He believes in what he stands for and after stepping up now, he wants to help others who were just like him. “Back in Alexandria--we'd only lived there a little while, and before that we moved from place to place, always driven out by the dead--or worse. The walls were down, the place was overrun with roamers, we were going to flee--every bone in my body just wanted to run. But Rick, he led us in an attack--we grouped together, protected each other, and we fought back. That was the day we stopped running--when we set roots in Alexandria and fought to stay there. That was the day when I learned to control my fear--use it. It's still there--but it's a tool, it keeps me sharp. Those undead fucks are terrifying. But they're slow and, damn it, they're stupid. We can beat them. Together, like Rick taught me. You with me?"

  • Eugene (Sincere/Supportive) telling his wife that he will stick by her and raise the baby with her. "I'll raise the baby as if it were my own. I've been thinking about this all night. If you truly love me, I can do this. We can still be a family."

  • Eugene (Sinister/Full of hate) threatening the man who killed his best friend while he’s tied up. "I get free... I'm going to take you out from behind. You'll never see it coming. You'll go out like Abraham did... Only I'm thinking there won't be as many people out there who give a damn."

ROSITA ESPINOSA

AMOUNT OF ISSUES = 32

Rosita Espinosa is a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. She is a survivor who traveled alongside Abraham Ford, whom she was in a relationship with, and Eugene Porter, before coming across Rick Grimes' group and joining up with them. Once the group eventually reach the Alexandria Safe-Zone, Rosita learns Abraham never loved her and leaves her for Holly. She eventually finds closure with Eugene and the two get married, but she becomes pregnant with Siddiq's child.

Not much is known about Rosita's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that she probably was from the Houston area, as Eugene stated his group had come from there before meeting Rick Grimes at Hershel Greene's farm. Rosita has mostly been relegated to a background role in her time in the series. The few instances where she is featured has revealed parts of her personality at a time. Rosita is shown as a kind, gentle, and understanding woman, and has avoided confrontation or violence with the group or others who have opposed them.

A rarity in the new world, Rosita seems less psychologically scarred or emotionally unstable than the people surrounding her. It is unknown if this is due to Rosita being less exposed to the outside dangers thanks to Abraham, or if she is a stronger individual than what has been explored of her. Rosita's character and role is mostly explored in relation to her romantic relationship with Abraham. She is shown as capable of taking care of Abraham's emotional instabilities, yet has openly expressed disagreement when he speaks without care for the other survivor's problems. Rosita's stronger emotional stability is mostly evident by her displays of empathy during the group's many horrific experiences, such as the heartbreaking incident with Billy and Ben, and Dale's death and burial. She is shown to keep her own side-arms when scouting the forest with Abraham, and may have some combat experience gained from her time in Abraham's company.

Like Eugene, Rosita has evolved to show more interaction and involvement within Rick's tight-knit group following the death of Abraham. This has been hinted at in her maturity growing, following her interaction with Holly during Abraham's funeral. Details of Rosita prior to meeting Rick's group are, like her two companions, mostly unknown. Rosita, Abraham, and Eugene had been traveling across the country from Houston towards Washington, D.C., and were part of a larger group of survivors, as revealed by Abraham. It was during this time of travel that Rosita had resorted to pleasuring men she met in return for protection, using her looks to survive. This practice continued until she met up with Abraham. It came as a surprise, and relief, to her that Abraham was not like the previous men. Ultimately, his kindness and protection made her fall in love with him, and the two soon initiated a romantic relationship, albeit strained because of Abraham's grief over the recent loss of his entire family.

Rosita, Abraham, and Eugene were the only survivors of their traveling group by the time they made it to Hershel's Farm and came across Rick and his survivors. After being confronted, Eugene tells the survivors that he knows what caused the plague, but, will not disclose any information to anyone, including Abraham and Rosita, as it is classified for surviving government officials in Washington, D.C.. Rosita remained quiet during their meeting with Rick's group, unlike her two companions. Eugene's story prompted Rick's group to hostility and caused doubt, but, Abraham ultimately convinced the majority of Rick's group of Eugene's credibility and their mission, and also to travel with the trio for safety in numbers and because of his lack of confidence in maintaining a stationary camp. Rosita's personality and thoughts remained mostly to herself during the trip to Washington, D.C.. Unlike her companions, she was relegated to a less active and important role, though she visibly seemed content with this.

UNNAMED SURVIVOR

AMOUNT OF ISSUES = 1

This survivor is a character first encountered in Issue 51 of The Walking Dead. He is a lonely survivor discovered by Carl Grimes and Rick Grimes while hunting in a forest for supplies. Nothing is known about this survivor's life prior to or as the outbreak began.

In the aftermath of fleeing the prison, Rick and Carl scavenged for supplies on their own in the nearby suburban and countryside neighborhoods. When the pair went hunting in the surrounding woods, they heard a person cry out in pain. They ran to the source of the noise and witnessed a lone male survivor surrounded by a group of zombies.

Carl pulled out his gun to try and help the man, but Rick stopped him, seeing that the man had already been bitten. The man cried out for help, but was soon physically swarmed and devoured by the undead hordes. Carl and Rick fled before the zombies noticed them. Later that day, the pair discovered his car. They found out that he could have lasted another week or so with all the supplies in the car. Carl was confused as to why he had abandoned his supplies and car and went into the woods unarmed, but then stated, "Oh, I get it. Like what Carol did."

DISCLAIMER: This character intends to commit sexual violence in scene(s).

Andy is an antagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. He is a member of the Marauders. He served as one of the secondary antagonists of Volume 10: What We Become.

Andy is a violent, egotistical, and sadistic man. Like the rest of his group, he took pleasure in taunting Rick, Abraham, and Carl. Andy is shown to be particularly bloodthirsty, taking joy out of beating Rick. However, Andy's arrogance would be his ultimate downfall when he is caught off-guard by Rick ripping his jugular out. Not much is known about Andy's life prior to or as the outbreak began. It is possible that he is related to the other two Marauders, because they share a similar physical appearance.

Andy, Craig and Jud ambushed the trio of Rick, Carl, and Abraham while the latter group rested on a desolate freeway in the middle of the journey back to Rick's old hometown for supplies. After Andy subdued Rick, he ordered Jud to rape Carl, as punishment for Rick fighting back, while the other held Abraham hostage. Andy, however, did not count on Rick and Abraham being hardened from their experience in the wasteland, and were caught off-guard in a matter of seconds. Andy cruelly taunted and held Rick hostage from saving Carl, but, he was killed first when Rick bit a chunk of his throat out of him in a moment of surprise. It is assumed he quickly bled to death from the major wound.

Jud is a sadistic, brutal, cruel, and violent individual. He was shown to be a pedophile, as he took sadistic pleasure out of trying to rape Carl. However, he is also shown to be a coward, as after Rick and Abraham gain the upper-hand, Jud begs for mercy despite just having tried to rape Carl.

Jud and two others ambushed the trio of Rick, Carl, and Abraham while the latter group rested on a remote and desolate freeway in the middle of a journey back to Rick's old home town for supplies. Jud appeared to be the ringleader of the group, and had one of his companions secure the awake and armed Abraham before taking Carl out of the car he was resting in. Andy also subdued Rick while Jud threatened to rape Carl and take their equipment. Jud's group, however, did not count on Rick and Abraham as being hardened from their experience in the wasteland, and were caught off-guard in a matter of seconds. Jud cruelly taunted and held Carl hostage, attempting to rape him as well. But, his demeanor quickly changed when Abraham shot Craig and Rick bit the throat of Andy. MORGAN JONES

AMOUNT OF ISSUES = 18

For his voice, I’m looking for a older, smoky sounding voice and maybe a West Virginian accent.

Morgan Jones is a main character and a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. He is also the protagonist of the Morgan Special. He and his son Duane are the first people met by Rick post-outbreak, while also being responsible for filling him in the details how to survive in the new world.

Morgan and Duane hid in various houses in the Cynthiana area, attempting to ride out the apocalypse. They stay behind as Rick leaves to find his wife and son. Months later, after losing his son to the undead, a broken Morgan joins the group, while trying to cope over his losses. Nothing is known about Morgan's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he had a wife and a son named Duane. He probably lived in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Before meeting Rick Grimes, Morgan was an initial survivor of the outbreak along with his son and wife. His wife died from the zombie fever and subsequently turned into one.

Morgan starts as a devoted and caring father to his son Duane. After the loss of his wife, Morgan always tried to protect Duane in the harsh apocalypse and maintained his humanity. He saves a lost and confused Rick Grimes and helps him to survive before they part ways. Unfortunately, Duane would eventually be killed by a walker, causing Morgan to lose his sanity. He is unable to put his son down and instead keeps him chained up in his house. When Rick reencounters, Morgan is completely desperate and mentally unstable. He has a tendency to break down at the topic of his son or anything that reminds him of him. After joining Rick's group, Morgan exhibits signs of severe mental illness and self-harming behaviors. After joining Alexandria, Morgan is still very uneasy and can't move on from the death of his family. He and Michonne become close to the point of having sexual intercourse. However, Morgan becomes hesitant about the relationship after thinking about his wife. This angers Michonne, though later the two come to an understanding of each other. Morgan attempts to engage in conversation with Carl many times to re-live his relationship with his dead son, which only garnered uncomfortable reactions from the latter. Morgan is one of the only people to know that Carl killed Ben, something he keeps to himself. Noticing Carl's hardened and cold-blooded nature, Morgan tries to act as a mentor figure for him as he tried to be for own son, even accidentally calling him Duane by mistake. While on his death bed, he advises Carl to retain his humanity and to be strong.

  • Morgan (Broken but happy) hugging Carl after meeting him for the first time. However, seeing Carl just reminds him of his son who is now gone. “Carl! I’m so happy to finally meet you…”

I just wanted that. I’m his father… I wanted him to act like he knew who I was.”

FATHER GABRIEL STOKES

AMOUNT OF ISSUES = 30

Gabriel Stokes, also known as Father Gabriel, is a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. He is a preacher who came across Rick Grimes and his group after leaving his church, where he had been hiding from the undead. Gabriel traveled with the group to Alexandria, where he became the head priest of the church located there. After overcoming his aversion towards violence, Gabriel lost all hesitation towards killing walkers, and joined Rick Grimes' militia against the Whisperers.

Gabriel Stokes was the reverend of a regional community church. Not much of his personality or life before the outbreak has been revealed. The only detail given by the reverend was when he admitted to Rick and the rest of the group that during the initial zombie outbreak, he locked the doors to his church due to his own cowardice and allowed a whole group of survivors to be killed by roamers.

As a priest, Gabriel is extremely religious and initially somewhat delusional. He is a very incapable survivor, relying on his faith in God rather than actual combat. He is also shown to be a coward, as during the start of the outbreak, Gabriel locked the doors of his church and refused to let his congregation in, leading them to be devoured by walkers. Gabriel is very remorseful for this act, and when Rick's group arrive and threaten him, he believes they were sent by God to punish him. As a way to uphold his religious beliefs, Gabriel is against acts of violence and murder. After witnessing Rick's group brutally murder the Hunters, Gabriel is outraged and angrily yells at them, despite the fact the Hunters had tried to kill them. After making it to Alexandria, Gabriel attempts to betray the group by trying to convince Douglas to exile them due to witnessing their brutality.

Slowly, Gabriel tries to redeem himself for his past actions. When a large herd of walkers invade Alexandria, Gabriel lets in Eugene and Nicholas into his church, in contrast to when he locked his congregation out. Eventually he lets go of his disdain against violence and decides to join the Militia as a way to thank Rick for what he's done for him. Gabriel is trained and becomes skilled in dealing with walkers. He takes every opportunity to help whenever he can. Unfortunately Gabriel's would somewhat revert back to his cowardly ways when he attempts to retreat after witnessing a large herd, causing him to accidentally fall off a ladder, leading to his demise.

  • Father Gabriel (Nervous but friendly) introducing himself to Rick's group with his bible at hand. "I'm Father Gabriel Stokes. I'm just a weary traveler, pleased to have found your company. I mean you no harm, I have no weapons of any kind."

  • Father Gabriel (Grateful/Proud) asking Rick to have Gabriel join the militia so he can help Alexandria a lot more. "I appreciate everything you've done for me. Giving me a home. Letting me take over the church, giving me a place to serve the lord. Now I want to serve in another way. I don't think it's enough to protect the souls of our people. I've done that and I feel I've done a good job. But I'm able... able to do more... able to really protect my flock. I feel like I could be of use to you... as a soldier. With your blessing... I'd like to start training with the others."

  • Father Gabriel (Broken/In tears/Feeling So Much Guilt) confessing to Rick the horrible act he did at the beginning of the outbreak. "I lock the doors at night. I always lock the doors at night, I always lock the doors... (Tries to hold back tears) They started coming in, the congregation. Atlanta was bombed the night before and they were scared. They were... They were looking for a safe place. A place where they felt safe. And it was so early, it was so early... And the doors were still locked. You see... It was my choice. But there were so many of them and they were trying to pry the shutters and banging on the sides screaming at me and so the dead came for them... (Deeply disturbed) Women... Children... Entire families calling my name as they were torn apart (Begins to sob) Begging me for mercy, begging me for mercy... Damning me to hell..."

CHRIS

AMOUNT OF ISSUES = 4

Chris is an antagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. He is the leader of the Hunters. He served as the primary antagonist of Volume 11: Fear The Hunters.

As calm as he is ruthless, Chris is the undisputed leader of his group, with all members deferring to him for any major decisions. He is shown to be a competent strategist, effectively stalking the survivors and utilizing scare tactics. Chris is also completely at peace with his group's cannibalistic ways, able to fully justify their actions as a simple necessity for survival. Despite this, Chris does show signs of remorse, going as far as having friendly conversations with his victims to explain his actions, with this apparently being quite important to him. Although it is unclear if any of the children within the group that were cannibalized were his, this decision still visibly haunts him. While intelligent, Chris was also overconfident in his group's abilities, notably underestimating Rick's group, although this was partially driven by desperation due to lack of food. This overconfidence ultimately led to the group's downfall. With the tables turned Chris hypocritically begs for the lives of himself and other members of his group, clearly terrified at the prospect of dying. Like the rest of his group, he would be brutally mutilated to death at the hands of Rick, Andrea, Abraham, and Michonne.

Not much is known about Chris's life prior to or as the outbreak began. He may have known the other members of the Hunters before the apocalypse occurred. It is also possible he had children.

The Hunters started out as a regular group of survivors but, as food became scarce, they resorted to cannibalism. Chris reasoned that hunting animals was a waste of time and that humans would be much easier to hunt and kill. They normally hunted down small groups of survivors and isolated ones, and avoided larger groups. Soon after, they had no luck tracking down small groups of survivors, and they resorted to hunting down Rick's Group because they were getting desperate and needed food.

Chris and the Hunters successfully captured Dale in the middle of the night as he was leaving to die due to a zombie bite he received earlier in the day. After learning the fact that Dale was "tainted meat" because of his wound, Chris and the Hunters beat him and decided to leave Dale in front of the church that Rick's Group were staying at. As their targets carried Dale away, The Hunters resorted to shooting Glenn in the leg, believing that the survivors would be easier targets if they were scared.

Rick's group eventually discovered Chris and the other hunters in an abandoned neighborhood. Negotiations were attempted by Rick Grimes in order to get the Hunters to stop targeting their group. Rick also found out the Hunters had eaten their own children. This was the only time Chris showed signs of remorse (hinting that it was his own children they ate), but justified it by saying it was to survive, as animals in the wild (bears in this instance) would eat their own young if they would otherwise starve to death.

In the end, Chris and the other Hunters were mutilated and beaten to death by Rick and the others to avenge what they had done to Dale and all of their previous victims. Then, his body was later burned, along with the rest of his group.

It's important to me that you know that. There aren't a lot of us left-- living people. If there were anything else we could do to get by-- we'd do it. There isn't. Food is scarce... Albert is an antagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. He is a member of the Hunters. Not much is known about Albert's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he possibly had children.

Albert was one of six cannibalistic survivors who stalked and preyed upon other living humans, namely the weak or isolated, for sustenance. Not much of his personality was revealed, only that he, like the others, listened to and obeyed the group's leader, Chris. Like his peers, Albert had initially become a cannibal due to the circumstances of the new world and the scarcity of food; however, the extent of how much he agreed with his group's actions is unknown. Chris had revealed to Rick that they had eaten their own children to survive, and it is unknown if Albert had any children that was part of the re-telling. Albert was one of the more vocal members of the Hunters when it was discovered that Dale had been bitten after they consumed part of his leg; he believed he had to cut his tongue out to prevent reanimation, but, he was stopped by David. Albert seemed to one of the more active Hunters, having been one of the three who stalked Rick's group. He was also the Hunter responsible for shooting Glenn in the leg when he, Charlie, and Greg had used the mutilated Dale as bait to draw out the other survivors. His decision consequently cost his group their lives, as the Hunters realized when Rick and his survivors, who had left the church, ambushed the Hunters in their own home. In the end, Albert and the other Hunters were mutilated and beaten to death by Rick and the others to avenge what they had done to Dale and all of their previous victims. Then, his body was later burned, along with the rest of his group.

He also seemed to be the most active Hunter, having been one of the three who stalked Rick's group and one of the two, the other being Charlie, that abducted Dale. It was additionally hinted he may be good with a gun, which was why he was chosen to stalk Rick's group. When Rick's group confronted the Hunters at their own base, Greg was the first to ready his gun, and before Chris could order him to do anything, Rick ordered Andrea to mangle the Hunters with shots. Greg was the first to be shot, and had his ear completely mutilated from the bullet, incapacitating him from further action. In the end, Greg and the other Hunters were mutilated and beaten to death by Rick and the others to avenge what they had done to Dale and all of their previous victims.
