I'm looking for voice actors for my new radio play, "The Tome"
The three main characters have already been cast, but I'm looking for voices for the supporting cast! All parts have at least a good handful of lines!
Please be sure to record your audition lines in ABC format (meaning record the first line, then the second, then the third and THEN do a second take)
2-3 takes please!

Cindy is a rank and file officer of the Twin Rivers Police department who is drawn into a mystery of murder and malevolent intent
I picture her with a midwestern accent (don'cha know) but I'll consider all auditions.
She is headstrong, kind and pretty fearless.
A murder investigation? That’s a bit above my paygrade isn’t it?
Not a clue. He can’t have gotten far. You said he was in his seventies, right?
[in a monotone voice] I’ll be fine. Just a little shaken up. Haven’t seen anything like that since I moved out here. And even then, this might just be a cut above.
Valerie is the wife of a recent murder victim, Edgar Marshfield. She is a grieving widow, but being wealthy, she keeps her emotions bottled up for the sake of social status.
Will review all auditions, but I picture her with a British RP accent
I don’t understand, I already told the police everything I know.
…um...what can I do for you Detective?
Enemies is a strong word…but there are a few other collectors that don’t really like him.
Toby is a child. Can't say too much more without spoilers. He's a minor character, so feel free to go with what feels right.
I would PREFER this role be filled by either a woman (they traditionally are better at voicing young boys) or a man who can really wow me.
No silly or over the top child voices please! It's a serious role!
Mommy? Mommy? Where are you mommy?
Daddy? It's me, Toby!
[say something you think would fit!]
Diane is the wife of the main character. She's been very sad lately (no spoilers!) but is a determined and strong woman.
[Desperately] Toby! Toby, baby, come to mama!
[Menacingly] That's what you get!
This is insane. You know you sound crazy right?
Glenn is a kind, middle aged gay man who owns a bookstore with his husband Bradley.
He's a gentle soul, but has a rough and tumble past and can become quite assertive when he needs to be.
I would like to cast an actual member of the LGBTQIA+ community for this role. Representation MATTERS
Detective! It’s been some time since I’ve seen you in here.
I know, honey. It’s not easy…but you’re gonna be okay. She just needs time.
If you need anything, please ask. Bradley says hello, by the way. He’d love for you to come visit some time.
Bradley is Glenn's husband! A chubby ginger man, he's very sweet but not quite as tough as his Glenn.
I would like to cast an actual member of the LGBTQIA+ community for this one. REPRESENTATION MATTERS
WHEN DID YOU BUY A GUN?!?!?
Hi Detective. Good to see you. What the hell is going on here?
I don't know how to fire a gun, what if I shoot you?
