The Riven Vigilantes: An Original Audio Drama
Project Overview
Project Summary
Hello and thank you for your interest in our project! My name is Andrew Loyd and I am the founder of Lunar Crest Media. I formed Lunar Crest with the intent to present stories that entertain and inspire people of all ages. Our first project, The Riven Vigilantes, is in the form of an audio drama. Here is a little background on that...
Story Summary
Reece is angry, and now alone. Having recently graduated high school, his uncle has been murdered in the slums and the police are doing nothing about it. Realizing that the cops are more focused on protecting those who line their pockets in North Riven; those suffering in the lower half are on their own. Gangs run rampant in the Southern part of Riven, constantly vying for control over sections of this neglected part of the city. Focusing his pain from the constant loss of loved ones; Reece decides to take matters into his own hands.
This audio drama contains: violence, drug abuse, implied domestic abuse, implied sexual assault, implied pedophilia, and explicit language. All of this is done in a way to fit the YA genre to address real-world problems. Please DO NOT submit an audition if you are not comfortable with what has been previously stated.
What We Expect from You
1.) High-Quality work that you are proud to attach your name to.
2.) Prompt and Professional communication, allowing us to efficiently make progress on the project.
What to Expect from Us
1.) We're looking to cast solid talent for the long-term, so we're all about finding actors that want to be a part of something special. We need talent that can take constructive criticism to best fit what we're looking to accomplish with this project. On the flip side, we will always treat everyone with respect and empathy.
2.) Payment - Installment Plan - We will make payments through Paypal, Zelle or Venmo. You can expect 25% of the role's payment up-front, upon accepting your role. Once you have submitted your audio files in the appropriate format, we will then transfer over another 50%. After we review your audio files to make sure it's what we need (this will take no longer than (10) business days), we will transfer the remaining 25%. PLEASE NOTE - If we need you to perform any line retakes, we will withhold the final 25% until those line retakes have been submitted and approved by us.
3.) Passion, Perseverance, and Professionalism - The Riven Vigilantes started out as a thought thought that struck me on one rainy day. Pouring out my thoughts onto paper - I wrote out a chapter and then built a story around that chapter. This was definitely a passion project of mine that I wrote in the format of a book; now looking to create an epic audio drama that will launch into something much greater. I realize I cannot do this alone, which is why I formed Lunar Crest Media. I'm searching for individuals with unique skillsets that want to be a part of something special, as I have huge plans for Lunar Crest reaching beyond audio dramas. Think you have what it takes?
Seeking more than just voice talent! We're also looking for artists to sketch/draw potential artwork (concept art, posters, cover art, etc) for The Riven Vigilantes and more! Please feel free to reach out to me at: via Discord ALoyd#2255 with some sample artwork to be taken into consideration for future artwork needs. Thank you!

(Proud, with his ego spilling out a bit toward the end) “And good thing you did! Where the hell would you be without me? Probably in a body bag somewhere, or perhaps you’d be the one suspended by a rope around the ankle on the side of some random rooftop. You gonna knock that guy out or let him wet his pants until RCPD arrives?”
(Prideful with a Comical Tone) “Hold your applause till the end, please. You haven’t even seen the best part yet!”
(Angry and Defensive) “Sidekick!? The name’s Cody. I’m the brains of this whole damn operation! Reece wouldn’t have lasted five minutes out there without me!”
Loving father. Good sense of humor.
(Trying to cheer Reece up with a little joke) “Now, Reece. I have to go to grown-up school and little guys like you aren’t allowed. They only allow boring adults like me in those places.”
(Excitable tone, trying to “hype” Reece up for his first day) “You ready to charge fourth, captain, and make some new friends at your new school? They’re all waiting for you, and I hear that your partner in crime from tumbling class has the same teacher as you!”
(Warm fatherly tone, feeling the weight of the world fall off his shoulders as the only thing that mattered in that moment was his son) “So, how was it today?”
Playful and full of energy. Typical outgoing 4-year-old kid.
- male child
Nervous and hesitant about starting his first day of school) “Can I just stay home wif you, Daddy?”
(Excited to share with his father how great his first day was) “It… was… AWESOME!”
(In awe) “She’s got a big car, daddy! How come ours isn’t that big?”
Happy and energetic. Typical 4-year-old girl. One line in chapter.
(Cheerful Goodbye) Bye, Reecey!
