The Red Sun Project is Minecraft Cinematic Film is two hours long. We've spent over a year working on the script, and now it's time to put this thing into action!
The Red Sun Movie (working title) is one of grief, love, hate, death, war and peace. One of highs and lows. The world of the story is cruel and unforgiving, mistakes are not tolerated and everyone is out for themselves. Cynicism is ripe and justice is an old forgotten philosophy now laughed at. So when two boys, Ult and Mirko, barely men, lose everything to Arius, leader of the most powerful empire, in a sudden unprovoked attack on their home, they are left angry and grief-stricken. So they set off on a journey across the world, gaining friends along the way, but will they all survive, or will they meet their deaths at Arius’ gate?
Please note, this Project is still in progress! More information will be provided as time goes on and more roles will be added.
• As mentioned before the film is around two hours long, if you are auditioning for a key role please be aware of what you are getting yourself into and the commitments and responsibilities required.
• You must be of 13+ years of age to audition.
• When sending recording please make sure it is clean audio, no air-conditioners or fans in the background.
• If you get the role you will be expected to play a lot of Minecraft as we will often need you in-game to recording certains scenes.

Ult is quite a fiery and quick tempered character. But, he can sometimes in rare cases be very solemn, rational and understanding. He is willing to do anything for his goal yet will always pick his friends over them. The VA must be able to act in a wide range of situations.

Mirko is a very calm, collected and rational character. He thinks in realistically and keeps moving no-matter what But, he can be lighthearted at times and in high stress situations he can become very panicked. The VA must be able to act in a wide range of situations.

Arius is antagonist of the story. He is often very calm and unreadable, but the second someone angers him he will become an unpredictable monster. The VA should provide a deep, drawling British accent.

Konnor is a supporting character. He is light-hearted and loves sarcasm. However, when pushed to the limit he can go into a blind rage and will do anything for his family.

Fabian is a Supporting Character. Fabian is a bit of cynical character, but would give up everything for his friends without a moments hesitation. For him, his friends are his family.

Blake is a Supporting Character. Blake is very cautious and is always looking out for his friends rather than himself and often slips up in high-stress situations.

Boy is a Supporting Character. Boy is a very loyal, yet chaotic character, but he always makes sure to keep the goal in mind. Even though he is still young the world has forced him to mature quicker than others and is just, if not more capable than a proper soldier.

Colonel Vander is a Supporting Character. Colonel Vander is a hard-boiled military man who always keeps the mission in mind. He is pragmatic and realistic and prepares for every outcome.

Declan Moonrain is a Supporting Character. Declan is the father of Konnor and would do anything for him. He is a calm, light-hearted man, but will rarely lose his temper. But, when pushed far enough he will lose all of his cool.

Ian is a Supporting Character. Ian is the right hand of Arius himself. He is a calm yes-man. Yet, on rare occasions he will show his true colours and his fears.

Talis a Supporting Character. Talis is a very outgoing character. He is a little chaotic and slightly arrogant but determined all the same.

How most action scenes in the film will be made is via Minecraft Mod called the
"Blockbuster Mod". It allows complex movements otherwise impossible in Vanilla Minecraft to be animated. We require a person very capable in the Mod to help bring these action scenes to life.

There will be a lot of extra voices in the Film, since we don't really have the time to get individual people to voice these, why not just one person? We require a variety of Pirate voices and gruff soldier voices and a few others. If you can do multiple accents then you're perfect for the job!
