Dorothy Conroy is the main antagonist's secretary at the Foxwood University. She's in her mid-20s. Despite who she works for, she ends up being one of the main supporting characters within the story and helps our protagonist, Quentin Sanders.

I would describe her as calm, collected, and intelligent young woman.

The overall role is small but the lines I provided are three key moments that define her personality.

In context of the film, the first line is said in a rush while they're being chased by the main monster of the film.

The second line is during a scene where she's speaking to Quentin and is said with quite a restrained tone. She understands Mr. Rothman is her boss and should be spoken about with respect, but at the same time she wants to warn Quentin of his impulsive behavior.

The third line is when Quentin comes to visit Dorothy at the office. By this point in the story the two have grown affection for each other but it isn't too pronounced. Playful, flirty tone but nothing overdramatic.

  • Seems like the Compendium is a sort of power source for it. We should destroy it!

  • I just came to warn you - Mr. Rothman isn’t acting himself today. I understand he’s coming over here later - try not to take his temper personally. He gets like this sometimes. He always tells me it’s the price of being a good businessman. I best get going.

  • You stutter every time you begin a conversation with me. It’s perfectly legal to call me by my first name, Mr. Sanders.
