Nagisa is a star lacrosse player at Verone Academy. She is very energetic and popular among other girls for her passionate nature, much to her dismay. She is weak with academics but her pure spirit makes up for it. She also has a large appetite and loves to eat chocolate, Fujita Akane's takoyaki, and according to Honoka- food with the word "yaki" in it. She can be childish and easily angered and loves to go out and play when it's nice and sunny.

Honoka can be strict with others and can become forceful or scary if angered by other's laziness or lack of concern. However, she is shown to be this way out of care for said person and waning them to do their best. She can also be pushy in her attempts to help someone, and she has a surprisingly stubborn side. For the most part, she is usually easy-going and calm-tempered, not likely to be easily riled up in comparison to Nagisa.

Nozomi is a caring individual with a big heart and a bright perspective. While realizing she may not be talented or have any usable skills, she makes up for it by being very friendly and kind towards others, even her enemies. A bit of a late thinker, she sometimes gets distracted; especially when food is involved. She is also childish, loud, and clumsy, and does not seem to make decisions rationally.

Tsubomi is a shy and timid introvert who usually keeps to herself, hesitant to speak openly unless approached first. She strongly wants to shed this aspect of herself and over the series manages to become more easygoing and willing to speak her mind thanks to Erika's friendship and encouragement, until she became confident enough to accept her negative qualities.

Miyuki is a bright, kind-hearted, and energetic girl who loves fairytales. She is always happy and optimistic, but seem occasionally naive. Miyuki is also really clumsy to the point where she sometimes ends up hurting herself when she gets overly excited, such as hitting her head after falling back. Multiple running gags in the series include Miyuki falling flat on her face after she randomly trips and her always getting hit in the face by random objects such as Candy and Pop's storybook.

She can be clumsy at times though, and while she admires fashion, her own sense of it was initially considered to be rather numb.

Her goal is to study magic she loves while trying to gain Riko's admiration.

She has a way of making others smile through her pure and genuine feelings and heart she puts into everything she does, and she is usually very perky. When really excited, she hops around much like a rabbit. She can be clumsy now and then and is fairly emotional.

Hana is an energetic optimist who aims to become someone who is like a big sister or an adult, but often fails at most things she wants to do mostly because of her childishness. However, she does have moments where she becomes disheartened because of her failures and would conceal her sadness by trying to be happy, mainly because of her being bullied in the past. She also tends to act before she thinks. Flaws aside, she is brave, caring, supportive, and forgiving towards others.

Hikaru is an imaginative and curious second-year student who loves constellations and space. She can be rather stubborn too, in which she will investigate anything that interests her thoroughly and acts on intuition. She is also ecstatic and has a tendency to drag people into certain activities she finds intriguing, unaware that her enthusiasm can be disrespectful to others. She is also supportive and caring towards others. She does, however, have moments where she can become deeply upset. According to Sorami Ryoutarou, Hikaru used to be selfish because she would go along with things as long as she believed it was fun, but now she considers her friends much more than before.

Above all this, she has a kind heart and wants to help others. She was prone to sicknesses as a child and wants to spread the same kindness she received back then to those around her. At times, Nodoka can be reckless and underestimate a severe situation, mainly because of her desire to protect something she considers valuable, which can cloud her judgment.

She always acts before she thinks, and in any situation Manatsu says "I'll do what's important, right now!", but occasionally this recklessness tends to backfire on her. Although mostly enthusiastic and motivated, she doesn't like to study.
