The Philosopher's Manor - A Moral-Skull Production
Project Overview
Hi Guys! The Philosophers Manor is a short murder mystery podcast, based of the ideology of Clue and Identity V. It will branch over a series of 10 episodes. The Philosophers Manor follows the story of several guests as the mysteriously wake up in a strange mansion. Soon they are all put to the test against a series of mazes, puzzles and monsters.
Who am I?: My name is Morgan Morales, I am an upcoming other and creator. I am currently looking for some voice actors seeking to jumpstart their careers or find their callings in an a podcast I created based off of normal murder mysteries. Unfortunately this, as of now, is an unpaid job. If you read past that and you are still interested I will now inform you of this story.
How It Works: The actor will be cast as one or more characters in this project. He/She/They will record their audio clips separately and will submit them to the "Episode folder". this makes it easier to access and allows for others to match tones with the fellow cast. We will communicate with each other via Discord, this is where we will talk about each episode, answer questions. We will hold a rehearsal and recording each week, via Zoom. (Face not required.) these dates will be determined based on everyone's schedules. If a couple of actors find it difficult to match with the whole group then one-on-one is available. If I feel you need help bringing out your role I may ask you to join me for coaching with another actor!
Qualifications: I am not requiring a background of any kind. Our goal is to grow as a family.
SEASON SYNOPSIS
12 individuals wake in a strange mansion owned by the mysterious "Philosopher". They are suddenly whisked into a death game where they must fight for their lives and freedom. "One by one the all must die." Can they make it out or will they all parish.
Project-separation: The slander of another due to their "Performance" will no be tolerated Everyone is been given an equal opportunity, my castings are made for a reason. If I or you feel like the project is too much to take on for a busy schedule I might ask you to take on a less involved role or if we both feel it is necessary then you may leave the project. If you feel you don't like the project you may leave, just give me the notice to replace your role.

Nurse Druid Is a 22 year old woman, with a kind heart. She was a nurse in an infirmary during world war II. She is very smart, quick whited and optimistic. Her only goal is to see everyone around her succeed.

Lucinda is an Ex-pilot. She is the brainy detective-esk character of the story. She is quick whited, one-step ahead of everyone and one of few friends of Nurse Druid.

Mrs. Sue is a rich, snobby woman. She has spent her life raising millions for charities while also filling her pocketbook on he side. She is oblivious, selfish and very sneaky.

Major General Kirk is a burley man who is honest and determined. He is gruff and very skeptical.

Mazzie is a young upstart singer in New York city. She works the fanciest night club around. She is arrogant, oblivious and snobby

The man of mystery himself. Rolland is a mysterious man who has called these individuals here to be apart of his sick game. He is secretive, wise and suspicious.

This character is very important. She is a simple maid who works for the Philosopher and assures his plan is complete. She is submissive, kind and emotionless.
