The OddGals
Project Overview
The OddGals is a character‑driven superhero/action animated series about three wildly different 13 year old girls, Caira, Felicity, and Jaz, whose lives are turned upside down when a freak accident fuses them with the identities of their favourite comic book heroines.
One moment they’re regular students. The next, they’re suddenly employed by SH Comics, the world’s biggest comic publisher, a place where genre logic bleeds into reality, storylines break, and fictional characters escape into the real world.
Now they must juggle:
school
superpowers
workplace chaos
villains born from unstable story arcs
All while trying to stay true to who they are.
THE PREMISE
A mysterious comic. A vat of toxic ink. Three girls who never expected to become heroes.
When the accident hits, each girl transforms into the heroine of her favourite comic:
Caira- Wednesday Witch
A bubbly, cheerful and sometimes impulsive girl who's alter ago is a spellcaster whose magic is chaotic, emotional, and unpredictable. She later gets Her black cat familiar named Reggie, provides snarky commentary and magical backup.
Felicity- Van Helsa
A goth hippie rocker girl who's alter ego is a vampire‑hunting antihero. Her multifunctional bat morphs into spikes, shields, gadgets — even a propeller.
Jaz- Dial H For Heroine
A somewhat Type A girl who is continuity‑obsessed nerd. He alter ego is a hero who transforms into a different cheesy Silver Age superhero every day. She never knows who she’ll become next.
Together, they become superheroes and later employed at SH Comics, fighting against villains.

Mr. Smith: the charismatic executive who's a real comic book nerd
Chloe: the bubbly, optimistic co‑commissioner who's Mr Smith's eldest daughter
Mona : Chloe's younger sister who's the gothic, moody co‑commissioner

A streetwise Italian American crook who's one of Mayor Blakely's goon. He's the more levelheaded guy compared to his friend Mac
