The Mermaid Hero
Project Overview
Cordelia was a normal high school student in Melbourne, FL. She had what she thought was an okay life. She was adopted. Her parents had gotten her when she was only a year old. The government had found her near the beach, where she was left. She had the life any child could ask for. But when her dad was sent away for work, her world shattered. He found a better partner, and left her mom. Her mom was heartbroken and stopped doing the things she loved, and worked. Cordelia soon stopped really seeing her after her dad left. She learned to look after herself at the age of 7.
Fast forward to the present. Her 16th birthday was coming up, and her mom had gotten her an earlier gift. It was a book that was found with. Her mom left a note explaining what they think the journal was as they couldn't read it. Cordelia had just gotten a history project at school that she had to do on herself, so she was happy to have a good start.
She passed the project with flying colors, but her she spent her birthday by herself as she blew out a candle on a cake. But, she was never the same that day. She procceed to go through changes that she didn't expect to happen.
She is led down twist and turns as her normal life becomes a secret teen vigilante as she learns about the darkness that her town hid. How will this story go?

Cordelia has a rough personality. When she is in her hero persona, she is confident, but she didn't plan to be a hero, and still has many doubts about becoming one. She is a fast thinker.

*Out loud*: Well, thanks for the invite, but I am not going to your party. *Other character responds. Out loud.*: Why? Because I don't like you.
Before Husband leaving: Kind, caring, and happy.
After Husband leaving: Cold, but trying. Stern when in work. Like confidence is gone.

*On the phone*: Did you say are application was accepted?! Oh my god! Thank you so much! How long until we can- you want us to come right now?! Okay, we are on our way. *Hangs up phone* Honey! We need to go the adoption agency! *He responds* Don't agrue with me, you can finish reading the sports later! Lets go!
*At work*: I am so sorry ma'am, but I can't do anything else for your husband. The tumor is too dangerous to move, and he is not healthy enough to operate. My condolences.
*Crying* Why!?! Why!?! Were we not good enough!!!? Was I not good enough!?! *She proceeds to throw things until she screams*
She has a higher voice that sounds sweet. She is the typical popular mean girl. Think of her as girl Flash from Spiderman.

Willow:*Pleding* Come on! Cordelia!! its a party! And, last I checked, you had no one to celebrate you're birthday with. *Cordelia responds* Yes its a party for my birthday, but we used to do a party for both our birthday when we were little! Why can't we just go back to that, even if its for one night. Please?? *Cordelia agrees* Yes!! See you at 8!
Willow:*Freaking out* OMG! Are you some kind of superhero?!*Cordelia responds* I so wish I could grab my phone right now!*Cordelia finishs the fight*That was so cool! Whats your name?How did you get your powers? Do you have-*Cordelia interups her* Oh come on! You have you answer at least one! *Cordelia takes her home*
Willow:*Sound like a brat* Ya, I am friends with the vigilante. I mean, I'm the one that gave her the hero name *Not typing it. Think of one*. I even saved her once. So you can say, I am sort of a hero myself.
He is sweet. He has a kind peronality. Later, he becomes shy and goes around topics.

*On the phone*: Hey little wave! how was your day? *Cordelia responds* You can write your name? In cursive!? Wow! What else did they teach you. *Tells him about her day. He just says stuff like what else, and tell me more. Cordelia asks a question.*: I am almost done over here. I'll be home soon little wave. I miss you. Remember to keep crashing for me okay? I love you, bye.
*Talking to baby Cordelia*: Come on Deli, just say dadda. *She giggles* Okay, I guess not today. Lets get you back to your room for a nap. *After putting her down, she waves at him as he leaves. He noticed. He waved back.* Sleep tight little wave.
*Towards wife*: Honey, she's beautiful. You said they found her near the beach? Well, her name has to be ocean related. *He lifts his finger up to her as she grabs it, laughing.*: Cordelia. That should be her name. *Wife asks why*: It means daughter of the ocean. Its perfect.
