The Lioness of Brittany
Project Overview
PROLOGUE - A fictional short video depicting the life of Jeanne De Clisson, or the lioness of Brittany, one of the most vicious female pirates in history. This is a short project, nothing extraordinary but I found her story to be truly heart wrenching and something that deserves to be seen.
INTRODUCTION - Hi all and thank you for showing interest in my project. I’m looking for a small cast of voice actors for this one occasion. (It’s undecided if I will be continuing this project). The video will be a short action scene of the Lioness and her crew going against another ship.
DEADLINES - Auditions will close on February 20th. Confirmed cast will be send a discord message and scripts on February 25th. Recorded scripts are due on March 6th, 2021. If you are confirmed, but can’t record within that deadline let me know before the 25th so we can work something out.
WHO CAN AUDITION - Ages 16 and up are edible to audition.
DON’T FORGET! - Please make background noise at a minimal, voice clear, and have fun with it! I love it when people do 3 takes of a line, if you want to do 6 thats great too! No more than 8 please...

Jeanne de Clisson was married, until her husband was killed by the King. Outraged by this, she turns to piracy to make the King’s life troublesome.
She’s very headstrong, cold, and passionate about her revenge against the king.

Vermon is a strong male that met Jeanne along her route to becoming a pirate. He helped her grieve and protected her from things she couldn't protect herself from, in return she’s supporting his family financially.
Vermon is middle aged man that seems that he would spend his morning drinking but is actually making sure the crew is tip top.
She hunted down warships, killing thousands of French soldiers.

Very minor, but has a conversation with Vermon in the beginning. Great for someone starting in voice acting!
I heard she keeps the heads of her prisoners when they pass...
