The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel (Fandub) (Supporting Roles and Extras)
Project Overview
What is this?
This is a fandub of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel by Falcom. This fandub will involve the story scenes, but not as much of the side quests and optional content. This will include the main dialogue and lines said during battle. This will be a long-term project, so please keep that in mind when getting your auditions together.
For new people to the Trails series, Trails of Cold Steel follows Rean Schwarzer as he enrolls in Thors Military Academy, an academy made to educate and prepare the youth for combat, and to overall improve on themselves. Most people who go there don't tend to go to the military after graduation, but they come out of it with a newfound confidence. Rean is brought into a new class created for Thors, where the nobles and commoners will be intermixed and sent on field studies to help the populace for an unknown reason, although it is clear that there is a more pure reason behind it. They get caught up in a terrorist plot eventually, and have to work together to stop them and save the Erebonian Empire from a major threat that can shake the foundations of the Empire.
Requirements
While this is a non-paid project, I still would appreciate it if you bring your A-game with this. Please make sure your background noise, reverb, and peaking is minimal. In addition, a lot of these characters will have more exaggerated emotions brought out. This is a JRPG, and so the characters in canon have more exaggerated and "out there" emotions in terms of delivery. I do not expect everyone to have the same degree of emotion and delivery as the voice actors for the canon, but even so, I expect at least some degree of care into your audition.
About the Cast
The characters in this game can have moments where they can be very indecent with their wording, and mocking of others, as you might see with a group of middle/high schoolers. The males can be a bit out there when it comes to attractive women as young boys can be, some way more than others, and some less than others. There will be some language in this, though not from many of the characters.

Final notes and words of advice
1. You may be wondering where Rean Schwarzer is on this casting call. He is not on here because well, I'm going to be voicing him! This is due to his sheer level of lines, and the fact that many of his lines can feel uncomfortable to many when delivering them. I am confident in my impression of him, and I am perfectly fine with the lines he delivers, so I decided it would be best if I voiced him. I hope this does not deter anyone or make you feel any less of this project.
2. Don't feel nervous! I know how nervous this might make you feel if you may be voicing for so many lines as a character, but that's natural! Any time I see a role that has a lot of lines in the end with them, I have an instinct to clam up about it, we're only human after all! If it's truly nerve-wrecking for you, you can audition for the extras roles! There are some that have a decent amount of lines, and some that don't. For the latter cases, you may get a couple extra roles! You'll get your chance some way or another!
3. Please do not slate your auditions. This is a practice that I do not personally like on CCC. If you do, I'm not going to throw a fit, but I prefer to listen to the audition itself than hear extra dialogue that hinders my ability to see the quality of the audition, even if for a few seconds. In addition, if you submit in a wav file, it'd be good to try to have as much time for the audition as possible, as the size of the file increases at a higher rate than a lot of other audio file formats!
4. I will need a couple transcribers to translate the text from the game to a document (most likely Google Docs). If you are interested, please message me on this.

Voice Actor
Towa is the Student Council President of Thors Military Academy, and is a major character in the Cold Steel arc. Her parents having died due to an aircraft accident, she was raised by her grandfather and aunt. She enrolled in Thors Military Academy and became a trial user of the new ARCUS units that Class VII uses throughout the course of the game. Towa, while not having any battle quotes, has a lot of screen time in Trails of Cold Steel. She is a very kind and understanding girl, although can work herself to the bone very often. She takes her role as student council president very seriously, which often leads to too much work on her. She is liked by all at Thors, and she cares deeply for all her friends.
Towa has a high pitch, child-like voice, and has a cheerful, yet authoritative tone to her. Her emotions will usually consist of joy, embarrassment, and seriousness.

Angelica Rogner is a second year at Thors, and is a supporting character in the Cold Steel arc. Angelica is the daughter of a noble in the Four Great Houses, Marquis Rogner. She dresses in a more androgynous way, much to the disappointment of her father. Before enrolling at Thors Military Academy, Angelica disguised herself as a man and worked at an Iron Mine nearby, and was said to have worked harder than everyone else. She became a trial user for the new ARCUS units Class VII use throughout the course of the game. Angelica is a flirtatious character, though only with the female cast. She never misses a chance to compliment an attractive woman, often surprising them with her straightforwardness.
Angelica has a medium, more mature sounding voice. Her tone has a slight hint of seductiveness. Her non-battle quotes involve emotions with flirtatious, calmness, and seriousness.

Claire Rieveldt is the captain of the Railway Military Police, and a supporting character in the Cold Steel arc. She is an ironblood, a group that is loyal to the Blood and Iron Chancellor, Gilliath Osborne. Claire is a very formal person, though can act casual when the situation calls for it, even talking to a couple of the members of Class VII in casual attire. She is assertive, and gets straight to the point when necessary.
Claire has a medium, mature sounding voice. She has a formal tone, though with a slight hint of energy, albeit not much. Her emotions will typically consist of surprise, being formal, and assertive.

Sharon Kreuger is a maid serving the Reinford family, and is a supporting character in the Cold Steel arc. Sharon has a love for the Reinford family, and will do anything to protect them from harm. She handles many different tasks, such as cleaning, making food, and taking care of the Reinford family and their companions. She is very formal, and keeps an air of confidence and professionalism at all times. She can be slightly mischievous at times, as shown when she exaggerates the reason why Rean leaves to meet someone else for a debriefing.
Sharon has a medium, mature sounding voice. She should sound confident and sure of her wording in her lines. Most of her lines have emotions of joy and a sense of formality.

Olivert Arnor is the prince of Erebonia, the next in line to be the emperor, and is a supporting character in the Cold Steel arc. He grew up with his siblings, Alfin and Cedric, with fondness for the both of them. Olivert is a mischievous individual, often having indecent thoughts in his mind, along with flirting with women, which this behavior has earned him the title by some as the Debaucherous Prince. However, he is a smart person, having many different plans and executing them near perfectly when it fits his goals.
Olivert has a medium-low voice, and should sound joyed in most situations, to which the others are where he sounds defeated in a sense. His emotions will typically consist of joy, sad, and seriousness.

Voice Actor
This role is a catch-all category for other characters that do not have as much screen time or lines as the others, but are still important! These characters could be students of Thors Military Academy, antagonists, and residents of the cities or villages that Class VII visit during their field studies. You can go wild with what you want to put here, though a good range of pitches, tones, and emotions would be nice! If you have a demo reel feel free to put it in here, and if you want to add more to it, you can feel free to do more with it! Some of these characters have battle quotes, so please keep that in mind. If you know the series and/or have a specific character in mind, you can put an impression for them in here too! Just please let me know either in the audio clip or the description of your submission with the character you have in there so I know which one you are looking for, though if your voice fits better for another I will also keep that in mind!
As there are a lot of extras here, a lot of people who do not get a more major role may get cast as one. In addition, depending on the chapter, some people who are one of the more major characters (such as Millium or Olivert), may get one, if they do not have many lines that chapter.
