The character of Tails is portrayed as a very sweet-natured and humble fox who, before he met Sonic, was often picked on because of his twin tails. Sonic however, saw Tails' unatural talents and cheered him on, causing the fox to have some admiration towards the blue hero.As a long time friend,he admires Sonic and dreams of being just like him. Though he lacks much courage,he wants to prove that he can be counted on, and has fought Dr. Eggman and his robots without the aid of Sonic before.He loves mint candy,tinkering with machines, and flying mechas.Despite overcoming most of his fears and becoming very bold, Tails also has a fear of lightning.

Tails has been described as a mechanical prodigy who rivals Dr. Eggman but has not yet realized his full potential.Additionally, by spinning his two tails like a helicopter rotor, he has the unique ability to push himself through the air to catch up with Sonic. However, when he takes to flight he tires quickly. Unlike Sonic, Tails has the ability to swim. Like Sonic, he can transform into Super Tails, but he requires Super Emeralds to transform. Also, when in this form, a swarm of Flickies circle Tails, this is often referred to by fans as the "Flicky Army".

Amy has a cheerful, exuberant, driven, competitive and intuitive personality. She is infatuated with Sonic the Hedgehog and spends much of her time chasing him, making sure he is safe and demonstrating her affection. Although is often annoyed by her antics, he by no means dislikes her. Former Sonic Team head Yuji Naka said that Amy was designed "to always chase Sonic", and has made it her life goal to one day marry him.

Like most characters in the Sonic series, Amy can run at superhuman speeds but not as fast as Sonic.She attacks foes with her ever-present signature weapon, the Piko-Piko Hammer,with which she is very proficient.

Sonic has a lot of self-confidence and possesses an enormous ego to match it, making him sassy, quick-witted, cocky, and at times overconfident. No matter the threat, Sonic always remains cool under pressure.[17] In the original Japanese version, Sonic omits honorifics and speaks informally (if not rudely), using "ore" instead of "I" when addressing himself or others ("ore" is a boastful way to say "I" in Japanese). However, he sometimes uses honorifics when addressing close friends or acquaintances. Possessing a narcissistic tongue and big attitude, he often jokes around to light the mood and will also take any opportunity to taunt his opponents. Being so smug, Sonic has developed a habit of talking to mindless robots, even when he knows they cannot hear him. Despite this, he can be quite the gentleman when he wants to and be modest with fancy titles. Also, while Sonic generally assumes that he can deal with things on his own, he also realizes he has friends to back him up in troubled situations, and believes strongly in teamwork. Owing to his smugness and confidence, he often engages in playful banter with his enemies, such as his asking Infinite, as "optional" questions to glean into what the secret behind the latter's powers were, what the latter's favorite color was and whether he liked long romantic walks on the beach, as well as "asking" a Zavok replica if he would let Sonic join a party occurring on the Death Egg (referring to the commotion resulting from the Resistance's infiltration of the area).

Following his free-spirited nature, Sonic never dwells on the past or allows his painful experiences to weight him down. Instead, he lives in the present and always looks forward to his next adventure, holding no regrets for what has transpired. It is only in the moments of greatest loss that his macho and carefree appearance falls away. Sonic is also of incredibly strong character and will: no matter the situation, he never doubts himself or gives up, never once submitting to the darkness in his heart.

Sonic is extremely loyal to his friends and will risk his life for them without any due consideration.[1][21] While he can leave them hanging, act rude towards them, or endanger them due to his fast-paced nature, Sonic never intends to make his friends unhappy and values them above all else, treating each of them as the most important person in his life. Equally, Sonic will always accept help from his friends and show great trust in them, though he is not above making mistrusting assumptions of them.[25]

Regardless of the many foes he has faced, Sonic rarely considers them true enemies, and instead tends to admire them for how powerful some of them are and how much fun they can give to him.[26] Likewise, Sonic is shown to have a remarkable capacity to forgive, forgiving Silver and working with him after he had tried to kill him twice.

Knuckles is a 16-year-old red anthropomorphic echidna, the only living descendant of a well-established clan of echidnas.[16] For many years, his clan guarded a giant gemstone called the Master Emerald, which controls the Chaos Emeralds, objects central to the Sonic the Hedgehog game series.[17] As such, Knuckles has spent most of his life atop a floating island called Angel Island, guarding the Emerald from harm.[18] He has grown up fairly introverted as a result.[16]

Knuckles has a serious, determined personality, described as keeping cool in combat.[19] However, he sometimes loses his composure and gets in fights with other characters, and is sometimes shy around girls.[20] His favorite food are grapes. His relationship with Sonic is ambivalent: Knuckles enters the series as an antagonist of Sonic and later sees him as both a friend and a rival,[21][22][23] while envying Sonic's adventurous lifestyle.[19] He is depicted as somewhat gullible and very rash, especially when angered.[17][24] He has often been tricked by Doctor Robotnik, but is stated in one game manual to have become more skeptical of him.[25]

While somewhat slower than Sonic, Knuckles is depicted as one of the series' strongest characters and a skilled martial artist: his brawny physique allows him to lift objects many times his size and weight, while his powerful fists enable him to smash through boulders.[16][17] He can also glide long distances by trapping air under his dreadlocks, and can climb up walls using the spikes on his gloves.[17] Unlike Sonic, Knuckles is able to swim.[22] As is typical among Sonic characters, Knuckles can roll into a ball to attack enemies.[26] He also has an empowered "super" form: using the Chaos Emeralds allows him to transform into Super Knuckles. Using the Super Emeralds allows him to transform into Hyper Knuckles.[27]

According to official profiles, Shadow was created over 50 years ago by Prof. Gerald Robotnik as the Ultimate Life Form.[14][15] Shadow is sharp witted, seemingly always on the edge,[15] and is described as the dark incarnation or an Alter Ego look-a-like of Sonic.[16] Once he has set himself to a goal, he will do whatever it takes to accomplish it,[15] regardless of any danger.[17] After the trauma of the death of his only friend, Maria Robotnik, Shadow strives to fulfill his purpose and keep the promise he made to her,[15] despite his general loathing of mankind.[17]

However, Shadow shares a lot in common with Sonic.[17] Although Sonic's speed is described as "second to none," Shadow can skate at speeds fast enough to rival the speeds of Sonic's running.[18] He can also perform spin attacks common to Sonic,[14] which are a variation on the tendency for hedgehogs to roll into tight balls for protection. Additionally, with the power of a Chaos Emerald, Shadow can warp time and space with Chaos Control.[14][16][17] Shadow is also able to use a variety of other Chaos powers, such as "Chaos Spear" and "Chaos Blast".[17] Much like Sonic solely believes he is the fastest thing alive, Shadow truly considers himself the "ultimate life form", regardless if he's the real one or not.

By harnessing the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds, Shadow is able to use super transformation to transform into Super Shadow,[19] and is bestowed with the new abilities of flight and near invulnerability, like Super Sonic, and his normal abilities of speed and his Chaos powers are greatly enhanced. However, this does come at the cost of a time limit on the transformation. Although he is mostly a maverick, he also works with his team (Team Dark) and is mostly portrayed as rough and cold. Zielo is the main antagonist of the The Murder of Me comic series created by Gigi Dutreix. He is the leader of his Soulless and the youngest of the three original gods, Celios and Heephis. Being corrupted by sin and murdering his own brothers, Zielo is forever bored, currently "playing a game" with all of existence and the Sons of Heephis themselves.

Silver the Hedgehog is one of the three main protagonists of the The Murder of Me comic series created by Gigi Dutreix. He is a mobian hedgehog who hails from possibly two hundred years into the future. This already ruined future was erased after Zielo once he sent Silver into the current time. Currently, he is on a mission as one of the sons of Heephis to defeat the dark god himself.

Sonic.EXE also known as X is the main antagonist of the creepypasta Sonic.exe by J.C. The Hyena and its sequel: Sonic.exe/Round 2. It is a demonic entity that possesses a CD-ROM of the original Sonic the Hedgehog, taking on the form of the main character. Then, he proceeds to kill the in-game characters before attacking and removing the soul/killing the person playing his game.
According to the author, this monster is actually a being that spawned in the void, not God or Satan.

Mephiles,The king of the Underworld,Is a retired villain and a father to a few kids. Sonic.Exe and Mephilie,His eldest twins,sometimes get on his nerves but he loves them.

Soulless are Mobians or Humans that have had half of their souls taken by Zielo and are twisted to his every will. According to Antoine D'Coolette and Bernadette the Hedgehog respectively, Soulless are silently suffering from the pain of their souls slowly reducing into nothing and can be described as "punished slaves".

Soulless are also known as mindless beings that serve Zielo, where their soul become no longer their own.

Scourge the Hedgehog (formerly known as Anti Sonic or Evil Sonic) was an evil version of Sonic the Hedgehog from Moebius. Unlike Sonic, Scourge mistreated others, was selfish and greedy, and had a great desire for power. Originally, Scourge, like all other alternate versions of Sonic Prime, looked identical to him, differing only in personality and attire. All this changed when Scourge, in a failed attempt to steal the Master Emerald with Rouge the Bat, sampled the Emerald's power and was permanently changed. Shortly thereafter, Scourge's methods changed as well: from small time hoodlum and mercenary to a villain determined to carve out his own path and completely distinguish himself from Sonic. For most of his criminal career, he led the Suppression Squad-previously known as the Anti Freedom Fighters-before becoming the leader of the Destructix.

In general, Eggman is depicted as being rotund in appearance. He possesses a dome-shaped head and no visible neck, a bald head, a bright red nose, and a very bushy mahogany moustache. During his early years, Eggman had a completely round torso with normal-looking arms and legs. Back then, he also wore a red shirt/jacket with yellow triangles (which can be described as either a collar or part of a cape, which can be seen on his back), with black pants with connected boots and silver-colored round buckles, white gloves, and mirrored pince-nez glasses.

In the present day, Eggman remains obese, but has become somewhat burlier, taller and less flabby with long, almost disproportionately thin arms and legs. He now wears both his tinted glasses and green-lensed goggles as headwear, through his mustache retains its length, density and mass. Gone are the cape and his suit-like clothes, in their place an elegant, red coat sporting two square metal buttons on both sides of the chest in gold. These buttons have white straps that run across the coat's sides to identical buttons on the back. The coat also has silver, zipper-like linings down the back, arms and front, yellow cuffs, and two extensions on the front that have large silver buttons. In addition, Eggman also wears white, cuff-less gloves on his hands and a pair of black pants with matching boots seemingly attached to them bearing circular plates on the both sides of the ankles and three square ones riding up the shin.

In Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), he was given a radically different appearance owing to the more realistic designs of the game. In particular, he has yellow bolt-like buttons on his red coat where the buckles were originally, as well as a slightly raised collar obscuring his chin. The moustache, while still bushy, also looks more groomed, and he also, while still overweight, looks very lean by comparison to his usual designs. His nose is also colored the same as the rest of his skin.

Appearance: Infinite is an anthropomorphic jackal with black fur. He has white long and stiff quills. He has a bushy tail with a white tip, and wears black gloves with silver streaks on the back, covering his sharp fingers. He also has pointed, metal black hi-tops, with his personal infinity symbol engraved on red-lined soles. His right eye is colored blue, though he has a scar across it, and his left eye is yellow. He also has a medium-long muzzle with cheek tuffs and a black nose.

After abandoning his old identity, Infinite began wearing a silver-colored mask with large ears with white and black circular patterns on the inside. While his left eye (which is colored yellow) is visible as he wears the mask, his right eye is covered by a black lightning bolt-shaped piece, similar to an eyepatch that covers his scarred eye.

Infinite possesses the Phantom Ruby that is fused with his chest, which, when Infinite channels the power of the gemstone, can surround him in a red aura, with red, glitch-like pixel particles scattered throughout his body.

Powers:

Flight - Infinite has shown the ability to fly and hover similar to those within a Super State, like Super Sonic for example.

Speed - Infinite has been shown to move quite fast, enough so that he could side step a boosting Sonic at point blank and even attack him. He was also shown to move towards The Avatar Character at high speeds in a flash of red, close to teleportation through the Phantom Ruby's power..

Cubes - Infinite's first shown ability was the creation of cubes. Given his name, it's quite possible he could make infinite amounts. These cubes can harm enemies, and if Infinite wishes subject them to his will. Tails describes being hit by a cube as "being placed within a dream where reality changes. Taking damage within this dream equals taking damage in the real world."

For example, the Avatar Character when hit by the cubes, is forced to dodge cannons that had not been there before hand. Getting hit by a cannon brings one back to reality while damage carries over. Another example is when Sonic fights Infinite and, if touched by the cubes, large spiked balls begin to fly towards Sonic. In the last battle, multiple lasers begin to fire at Sonic and allies once touched by a cube. Shadow was subject to this ability, put in a virtual world of Infinite's making. Everything seemed perfect until later in the simulation where the fake Omega began to repeat itself rapidly.

Infinite can also use the cubes to manifest creations such as turrets.

Bullets - Aside from cubes, Infinite has shown the ability to fire bullets of energy from his hands.

Laser Beams- Infinite was capable of producing highly destructive beams of energy from his hands.

Shock wave- Infinite has also shown the ability to charge up a powerful shock wave. It shows the same effect from when one touches the cubes, and then more effects, such as gravity manipulation, the creation of large monstrosities baring Infinite's appearance loosely to fight in Metropolis. The greatest known alteration was when Infinite brought down the Sun to Mobius, ready to drop it on the world despite how that would effect the entire planet.

It's easy to say that, when this shock wave occurs, it's Infinite using the Phantom Ruby to alter reality to his pleasing.

Strength- Infinite has been shown to be quite strong, kicking Sonic the Hedgehog hard enough to break the wall he'd slammed into, cratering the walls twice.

Agility: Infinite showed great agility, even before gaining the Phantom Ruby.

Cloning: Infinite can make infinite copies of those he's met or know of, such as Metal Sonic, Shadow the Hedgehog, Chaos, and Zavok. He made an entire army out of these major villains and in Shadow's case Anti-Hero. They are as strong as the original, but lack the heart and soul. Perfect pawns. Infinite can even make them stronger, adding special affects to their abilities.

Teleportation:  Infinite can teleport in a manner that makes it seems as if his body is being deconstructed into cuboid objects.

Form Alteration: Infinite can also use the Ruby's power to alter his own appearance such as making himself bigger for his final battle with Sonic.

Sword Skill: Infinite is a practice swordsman, it being his primary way of combat before becoming known as Infinite.

Leadership Skills: Infinite was the leader of Jackal Squad, which was a mercenary group that would take various jobs until they were defeated by Shadow the Hedgehog. Their fates are unknown.

Voice Alteration- Infinite's mask alters his voice and the appearance of his left eye, giving it red sclera instead of normal white sclera that hides behind the mask.

Null-Space: Infinite's deadliest attack, he throws forth an orb of Null-Energy created by the Phantom Ruby and can attack it, creating a black hole into an alternate world with almost no escape. It took the extreme speed of Sonic and the Avatar Character's Double-Boost to make it out, barely at that.

Personality: Infinite is an enigmatic and mysterious, yet lethal and dark figure, cold and stern, though deeply sadistic and cruel. Prior to becoming Infinite, however, he had at least some degree of care for his men in Jackal Squad, as he angrily confronted Shadow over the destruction of the Jackal Squad before fighting him. He is also extremely sadistic, taking great pleasure in the pain and torment of others. He even willingly let's the Avatar run unharmed, just so he could relish in their terrified screams. Extremely collected and confident with a cynical, nonchalant demeanor, he presents himself as perceptive and aloof, toying with and barely sparing his enemies a thought even in direct combat. He also appears rather arrogant and sure about his strength, as he often exhibits a sense of superiority when talking to others and shows little respect for figures like Sonic. He is, however, able to acknowledge attributes to his opponents he deemed commendable, as he acknowledged before attacking Omega that the latter was "spirited." His violent disposition was present even before his transformation into Infinite, as evidenced by his touching the Phantom Ruby causing it to show a world that was desolate.

His most notable character trait, however, was his inferiority complex, especially regarding any perceived weakness he might have. This was most especially apparent when he fought Shadow and was easily beaten by him. After Shadow bluntly told him he was worthless and told him to not show "[Infinite's] pathetic face" to him ever again, Infinite proceeded to rage on how he was not weak before ultimately subjecting himself to being fused with the Phantom Ruby, and completely discarding any trace of his old identity, to the point where he refused to show his own face. Other indications of this trait were shown where he expressed disgust at Eggman calling a retreat, viewing it as a tacit admission to weakness. Even after his defeat, Infinite tries to insist that he can fight on, even as he is pulled from the battlefield. This inferiority complex is implied to have developed into a mad obsession with strength. When Shadow runs through a Phantom Ruby-made Green Hill, Infinite's thoughts are echoed through a false Omega, constantly repeating that he wasn't weak, like a broken record, almost like a paranoid reassurance, showing Infinite as a truly insecure individual.

Bio: Infinite was once the leader of the Jackal Squad, whom decided to invade Eggman's Facility one day to steal his devices for a bounty. Dr. Eggman, who recently discovered the Phantom Ruby, used the newly-founded gemstone to conjure an army of Egg Pawns, giving the Jackal Squad some opposition. Infinite commanded his forces to handle the robots as he targeted Eggman straight ahead. Infinite's sword, however, struck against the Phantom Ruby, giving a vision of what Infinite desired the most: a desolate, destroyed world. Eggman, who also saw Infinite's vision, realized that he and the jackal leader that together, they can accomplish their goals. Offering Infinite a chance at joining his side as the Jackal Squad was cornered, Infinite accepted the proposal.

Later on, Infinite and his squad eventually fell victim to Shadow the Hedgehog, who infiltrated Eggman's Facility. After being berated by Eggman for his incompetence at protecting the facility, Infinite ambushed Shadow, only to be completely subdued by the brooding hedgehog. Calling the jackal leader worthless, Infinite broke into a tantrum, realizing just how weak and humiliating he truly was.

Infinite would then seek out the alligence of the Eggman Empire, fusing with the Phantom Ruby in an attempt to become stronger and seek out vengeance against Shadow. With his newfound power, Infinite abandoned the former, weak version of himself, gaining a mask to hide his scars, symbolizing his rebirth.

Shortly after obtaining his powers, Infinite was dispatched by Dr. Eggman to deal with E-123 Omega, who had proceeded to slaughter a whole lot of Eggman's henchmen on his way through Eggman's base. Confronting Omega, Infinite proceeded to effortlessly defeat the robot with his abilities.

In Sonic Forces, Infinite became the right-hand man of Dr. Eggman. When Eggman attacked a large urban center with his robots, Infinite engaged Sonic the Hedgehog when the latter made short work of Eggman's forces. Overwhelming Sonic with his power, Infinite defeated and captured Sonic.

After's Sonic's defeat, Infinite provided Eggman with a new power that allowed the doctor to conquer 99% of the planet, resulting in the Eggman Empire controlling that much of the world. Instated as the leader of Eggman's entire army, Infinite worked alongside Eggman's henchmen (Shadow the Hedgehog, Metal Sonic, Zavok and Chaos) and it is his existence that binds the aforementioned individuals in Eggman's army. However, Infinite eventually found opposition in the form of the Resistance.

Rouge the Bat is a fictional character in the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series. She is a professional treasure hunter, government agent, makeup artist, and brothel owner. Rouge loves all jewels, but lusts after the Chaos Emeralds and Master Emerald most of all. She will do absolutely anything to get jewels, and yes, we do mean just about anything.

Rouge's heavily endowed physique and breathy voices make her appear ditzy, when she is in actuality a clever and manipulative schemer. Some think she's a good example of a strong female character, some think she's a really shallow bitch, but all agree that she's a total cash-in on the 13–25 year old male demographic.
