Looney Tunes: The Day the Earth Blew Up! Robert Re-Dub!
Project Overview
I desperately want to Re-Dub the Looney Tunes Movie “The Day the Earth Blew Up!” but I can’t do it alone.
As soon as the film comes out digitally, everything will be in place for the fandub. I’m going to be voicing Daffy Duck, the Invader, and other incidental characters. The one character who won’t be dubbed is Porky Pig, still voiced by Eric Bauza.
The plan is to post the Re-Dub after the movie serves its time in theaters, that way it’s not spoiled too soon.
Here are couple of things you should know BEFORE submitting an audition:
1. You must have at least decent mic quality. As long as I can hear you clearly, we are good.
2. No background noise when recording. Audio editing can only remove so much. No fans or electric buzzing please.
3. The room for everyone! More than one VA can Dub a character in this Re-Dub. As long as you’re able to modify your voice to be another character.
4. Be Accurate. I need you to be good at lip syncing for the eventual audio-visuals you’ll be using to record your lines.
5. Don’t Procrastinate! Don’t wait, make sure you get your submission in as soon as possible.
6. Follow the Source. For the old and new characters in the film, I’ve added links to the voice lines so you can get the voice and tempo just right. If you don’t wanna listen to the links or wanna make the characters your own, get creative.
7. Get the word out. If you know other VA’s who you think might be perfect for these characters, please share this project with them.

- Petunia Pig Voice Sample Stutter Properly
- Being a Major Character in the film, Petunia is Porky’s love interest, and works as a flavor scientist at the Goodie Gum factory, taste-testing everything from old socks to rotten eggs to discover the perfect gum flavor. She’s a hyper-capable nerd compared our two hero’s. For her, I need a girl who can do great lip syncing. Feel free to either use your real voice for her or speak in a comical way

You know Porky, I'm really glad you started working here. It’s nice to have a new fu fu fur free eh (long stutters on “friend”) acquaintance. (Giggles) Sorry. I tend to stutter when I get a little nervous.
Scientist - Voice Sample A major character of the movie. At the beginning and end of the film he specks like Fred from Scooby Doo if he had a deep voice. When he becomes mind controlled by The Invader, he speaks in a zombie-like Patrick Star voice, only saying the word “CHEW”.

Farmer Jim - Voice Sample The adoptive Father of Porky & Daffy. He’s a minor character in the movie, but still very important. His voice is deep, soothing, and is a southern accent.

Ms. Grecht - Voice Sample She’s the Grandview perfectionist. She’s not fond of Porky or Daffy for their loony appearing home, and she’s not always happy, except when it comes to their misery. If you’ve seen the first seek peek/animatic for the film, you’ll know how she’s going to sound like.

Floor Manager - Voice Sample He’s a very minor character but I still want someone other than me to voice him. His voice is deep, bored, and he sounds like he’s done with his life.
