The Cyclist (Season 7, Season 8, and Season 9)
Project Overview
Hi! Jess here and I'm back with more Cyclist auditions! These ones are for the season 7, 8, and 9!
All episodes for the series will be released here:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4MOdrvY3IR5TPbLUf70WzQ/videos
My youtube here:

Discord server here:
The FINAL deadline for the Season 7 characters is the 22nd November. They will be casted on the 23rd or 24th hopefully, this is due to the S7E1 script being released on the 20th November, with the trailer script being out on the 6th November too. For the S8/S9 characters and the musician (since neither S8 or musician will be needed until mid February - and S9 is even later) I may give longer, but this all depends on if I have enough auditions to decide or if I would like more before casting.
BLURB (For S7. the S8 one won't be released until the end of S7 due to massive spoilers):
Ford, Freddie, Johnny, Eve, and Delayney are going on a road trip, what could possibly go wrong?
Everything could.
They certainly didn’t bargain on all the arguments – Ford is trying to hold everyone together; he doesn’t want anyone’s relationships to break up.
And the last thing Freddie expects to find is a note in the glove box of his car saying that Callia’s still alive. Is that just a rumour – or is that true? And does she still want Freddie’s life?
But Callia’s not the only problem. It seems that nothing can go right for these five – especially since almost everyone knows who they are. Callia might not be the only one who wants them dead...
And if Ford wants to save Freddie, he might have to make the biggest decision of his life which could have devastating consequences for everyone else...
Apologies the image quality of the characters is less than my other auditions, CCC stopped accepting SVGs (the images original form) and converting to PNG decreases the quality significantly.
Recast characters are at the bottom - other than that it's in order of lead to side.
Note that this may sound like a really innocent story based on the title, well let me tell you it's not. It's called The Cyclist because S1 and S2 were based around cyclists and I wasn't going to change the name, but there's a lot of very sensitive topics and quite a bit of blood in this. (Please note there are topics of suicide but I believe only Paisley and Presley really have anything to do with that storyline from these auditions :)) There is NO swearing though (or anything sexual for that matter, the furthest I go with romance is a kiss and it's not very graphic either), so if you are not comfortable with swearing then don't worry because I'm not either :)
Thumbnail from left to right: Freddie, Ford, Delayney, Johnny, Eve
If you have business plan and can see whether something has been viewed, please note I listen to ALL voice auditions AFTER the deadline. I don't interact with them before as I prefer to do them all at once, so please don't be worried if there's no green tick.

Age: 11
Gender: Female
Importance: Lead
Accent: Any (I'm honestly not bothered as long as you fit her character, she is only related to Presley, so she's not related to any characters who currently have an actor)
Voice: Medium-High
Personality: Paisley may come off as a naive, over-excitable, and bouncy girl, but in reality she's quite smart, she just prefers to hide it. She's kind and loving. Although she's not got any relation towards Ford, she cares about him a lot, and wants to help him.
First Appearance: Season 7 Episode 3
Paisley is Presley's half sister, who she shares the same mother with. She appears for the first time alongside her sister Presley in the cafe - who'd asked her to wait in the car, which Paisley had pretty much refused. Paisley actually becomes very useful to the group, because whilst Freddie, Ford, and their friends are on a road trip, Presley is trying to find out what "Julia" is doing, since she is working for Callia. Paisley is the one who remembers who Julia's brother is (her diving/swimming instructor) and manages to prise the truth out of him, hence helping everyone out. Later on, she also pretends to Julia on the phone to be Callia's best friend Stacey, hence leading to Julia leaking her location to Paisley who then passes on the information to Sabrina who can then in turn warn Eve.
Paisley is a lead character.
Yes, so that I can get a good feel for your voice, there are 6 lines, just follow the numbers :) Paisley has a lot of long lines, as well as some shorter ones too. Three quite hefty lines are included to make sure I know you can record long lines, line 6 is probably somewhere close to the longest line length she will have so you have an idea.

1. " Let me introduce myself. Paisley, I’m Presley’s half-sister who is Callia’s half-sister, please Rose, I need to talk to Sabrina, PLEASEEEE. " *practically begging* 2. "You shouldn’t take your friends for granted though Ford, they could be here one minute and not here the next, like your dad, he was here one day and the next day he wasn’t. You couldn’t have anticipated that. And if Julia wants Freddie’s life then you need to protect him – be there for him. And you might not have much time left. Everyone will do their best to protect him, but you need to treasure your time with him – not waste it. " *being very serious*
3. " Don’t you think he’s been through enough trauma Ford? Don't you think he needs you most? " *trying to reason with Ford* 4. " If you were truly hurt would you really hurt others and allow them to feel that pain? Or maybe you’re so mad that you felt pain that you want revenge? " *trying to reason with Julia, make her see what she's doing*
5. " DELAYNEY!!! " *panicked, scared, worried* 6. " I went to therapy. I was so against the idea, but Presley was adamant it would help me. And I never looked back because the therapy was the best thing I could ever have done. It helped me come to terms with my sister and my dad’s death, and also helped me see that it wasn’t my fault and I shouldn’t blame myself because the only person I was hurting by doing that was myself. " *attempting to empathise with Freddie over something he said, opening up about her life*
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Importance: Lead
Accent: Any (I'm honestly not too bothered as long as you fit her character)
Voice: Medium-Low
Personality: Presley is quite a quiet girl who secretly wants to bring her half-sister down. Throughout season six she's technically in the background trying to protect Freddie from Callia, with Max's help, but they don't meet her until season seven when she enters the cafe after Max and shows her face to Sabrina, Mitzie, and Amanda. She prefers to stay under the radar and out of the limelight.
First Appearance: Season 7 Episode 3
Presley is Paisley's half sister, who she shares the same mother with. Presley is also the half sister of Max and Callia who she shares the same dad with, but their dad wasn't a great person. She appears for the first time alongside her half sister Paisley in the cafe. She explains to Sabrina how much she's been looking into Callia. Eventually, she ends up helping Freddie greatly, especially by breaking into Callia's security room, where she's able to see cameras of Callia's current location and what she's doing at the time, so obviously Callia's security room isn't secure enough.

2. " Please, call us if you need ANYTHING, we’ll be here. " *kind, reassuring*
3. " FORD?! " *shocked, surprised* 4. " Yes, you’ll have to live with the guilt, but you need to live for the people that weren’t allowed to live. They didn’t deserve to die, and neither do you. They wouldn’t want you to die. They would want you to make them proud. Somewhere up there, I’m sure everyone you love that you’ve lost is watching you. " *trying to be convincing*
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Importance: Main
Accent: Any
Voice: Medium
Personality: Julia may seem sweet on the outside - but that's just her very convincing act. Inside, she's a sadistic criminal, and is not afraid to draw blood - especially Freddie's...or someone else's...
First Appearance: Season 7 Episode 2
Julia is one of Callia's minions, and will do absolutely anything to support her. However, she's actually revealed to be quite naive, especially when she's seen to believe that Paisley is Callia's best friend. Julia has two siblings - Vanessa (who will literally follow Julia around like a puppy, not knowing any better), and Levi who is literally estranged from her, until Paisley begs for his help against Julia. Julia's extremely angry when she finds out about this though since she doesn't want her brother Levi involved, and the fact that Levi's been hiding a secret about her that no one knows... and the truth could ruin everything...

Personality: Josie is a kind person with a lot of life experience. She's very good with empathy and her talent is for helping people.
First Appearance: Season 9 Episode 6
Josie is first introduced through dialogue as Victor's long distance girlfriend (although not mentioned why), except Victor has no idea she'd just arrived back from Australia, and bumps into Freddie, asking him to show her the way to Victor's house (which as soon as she mentions Delayney he knows). Freddie, at the time, is currently in quite a stressed state, and Josie manages to calm him down and is very kind to him about the current situation.

" Victor, your sister is thirteen; you can’t watch her every move, and you can’t control her. She’s old enough to make her own decisions and if she ends up making a mistake she can learn from that mistake. We only learn by making mistakes, and if you’re going to be this protective of Delayney then she’ll never learn some of these lessons. And if Eve doesn’t hurt Delayney then wouldn’t you feel guilty for not letting Delayney see her? " *calmly, but firmly*

First Appearance: Season 7 Episode 3
Levi is Paisley's diving and swimming instructor, and has been giving Paisley lessons for years, except she had no idea - until now - that he's the older brother of a wanted criminal. After all, he knows what Julia can do better than anyone...

" That’s something that you have to live with; you might not want to talk about it, but others might do, and everyone grieves in a different way, Freddie. Ford is grieving too, and talking about her might make him feel better, you can’t dispute that. " *caring, understanding*
" That’s natural, Freddie. And it’s /okay/ to feel like that. If you love someone, you love them, that’s not a feeling you can help. Just because Eve hurt you it doesn’t make it easier, and you won’t automatically stop loving her. " *caring*
" That’s an excellent mindset to have. You shouldn’t worry about the things you cannot control. " *caring, genuine advice*
Age: 13
Gender: Female
Importance: Tertiary/Side

S7E6
I can't really give much of a description here as he only appears as a one-off gas station owner when Freddie and Ford need help, meaning he won't have any character development as he's an extra.
" Are you looking for your friends? " *trying to be helpful*
I took most of the stuff from the season five auditions, also voice reference is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26b5o5-FPVQ&t=225s (should automatically start on Mitzie's line, she's the female with the slightly deeper voice though, as Amanda's is much higher, and the other character is Freddie who is obviously the British one)
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Importance: Main
Accent: I mean, my former actor is American so probably that
Voice: Medium-Low
Personality: Mitzie definitely knows her own mind. She's very independent and head strong. She's also extremely determined to make Eve listen to her, no matter what it takes. She never gives up. I want this to be reflected in her voice
First Appearance: Season 5 Episode 1
Mitzie is a girl from Eve, Cara, and Freddie's past. She shows up unannounced after Freddie just almost got burned alive in a fire. And Eve wants to do everything in her power to stop Mitzie from talking to Freddie, since she doesn't want Freddie to be reminded of the past during his recovery. Except with Mitzie's sheer determination that won't be very possible. Although, Freddie is actually quite annoyed since he had no idea that there was more to his past (that he didn't even know about). Mitzie, though, wants to get through to Freddie, and also wants to make amends to Eve. She won't stop until she achieves want she wants. In the end, she helps lead a rescue mission by driving some of her new friends to where they need to go.
Mitzie is a main character.

Personality: Livie is quite kind and understanding, but she has quite a temper and can lash out at any given moment. She can have quite an attitude.
First Appearance: Season 2 Episode 1
Livie was the one who helped Ford during S2 when his family were arguing. She helped him escape from the house and that's when their friendship started. Ever since then Livie's made appearances generally when needed to help Ford get out of a sticky situation. She's always there for him - after everything he's done for her. Livie defended Ford against Yvonne, and then against Callia too. She's extremely loyal towards him, but she's also a voice of reason too. Sometimes when Ford's not thinking straight or rationally, she'll try and make him see sense, whether it works is another matter.

Age: 40
Gender: Female
Importance: Main
Accent: American/Canadian, though I'm not too bothered as long as you sound like a mother - like Rose, I haven't posted references since she's had quite a few voice actors, but what I mean is I just need to be able to see you as playing Rose
Voice: Medium
Personality: Rose is very motherly and cares deeply for her son, Ford (and her daughter Amber who isn't on screen much). She wants the best for Ford, and will do anything to keep him safe. She also cares a lot for Freddie and will protect him too.
First Appearance: Season 2 Episode 1
Rose is a main character who doesn't technically serve the actual main plot, but being the mother of one of the two lead characters (as well as the guardian for the other lead character) she appears in almost every episode, with the line counts ranging from about 1 to 25.
Rose started in season two, shown as someone who cared about her two children. However this did deteriorate throughout the course of season three as she started to miss her husband Nate, who had been murdered nine years prior by Rose's sister Yvonne. She started a relationship with Ford's friend's dad (Nico) who Ford did trust but was certainly not a fan of the relationship which caused him and his mother to not get on well. Rose was also reluctant to let Ford's cousin Rayalynn stay with them, however Rayalynn has lived with them ever since and is often the voice of reason amidst all the problems Ford faces. In the end, Ford's best friend's mother, Lilah, hosted Ford's birthday party because Rose didn't even seem to care. At the end of season three Ford becomes friends with Freddie although Rose isn't happy about this considering the things Freddie has said before. It's a quarter into season four that Rose and Ford make it up. Rose explains many things about Ford's Auntie Yvonne which makes Ford realise that he can probably trust his mother again. Except, this leads to many problems between Ford and Johnny because Johnny yells at him for trusting Rose again, and ends up with Ford refusing to trust anyone except Freddie, and he even yells at Rose why he ever trusted her again. Later on, at the end of season four, after Freddie is in a really bad fire, Ford cautiously approaches Rose and asks her if Freddie can move in with them, to which Rose agrees instantly to Ford's surprise - until Ford and Rayalynn realise that Rose just wants to make it up to Ford. Freddie's been living with them ever since, and Rose treats him like one of her own, just like Freddie's own mother never did. Throughout season five, Rose's main role she plays is trying to protect Ford and Freddie by forbidding them to leave the house because she knows Yvonne's on a blood thirsty rampage. In the end though she decides this is bad idea, especially after Ford keeps sneaking out, partly to rebel because he's so annoyed by the boundaries. Now, Rose's main role in the show is to always be there for Ford, which she is, so as said she doesn't serve the main plot, like she's not in the action, but she's always there because she's Ford's mother, and she's always there to get them out of a sticky situation.

" This is the first time ANY of you have been away from your home without an adult, but Freddie, you’re in charge, so just call me if you need ANYTHING. " *motherly, protective, a little anxious*
" I was expecting you about 9pm, it’s almost half past midnight now! " *frustrated and annoyed*
" I know Freddie...I know...I wish I could make your pain go away, but I can’t do that. However, I do think that Ford’s right, talking about it is a good idea, like he said keeping her memory alive. Talking about her might make it seem like she’s still with us... " *kind, empathetic, understanding*
Age: 36
Gender: Female
Importance: Side at this point (used to be more main)
Accent: American (because Johnny)
Voice: Low-medium
Personality: Lilah is very motherly and cares about Johnny (and certainly not Cara), but she doesn't always understand what Johnny and Ford have, and this can affect the way she reacts towards Johnny's best friend.
First Appearance: Season 2 Episode 17
Lilah is the mother of two - Johnny (a sweet thirteen year old who is best friends with Ford - the protagonist), and Cara (a sadistic murderer). She cares about Johnny a lot, especially after his dad passed. She used to care about Cara until she started bullying people and created a bullying pact with her (then) best friend Eve. Lilah appears in S2E17 wanting to protect Johnny, because she knew he was being blackmailed. However, she knows she can't do much and is really upset after Johnny's in an accident. She doesn't want to lose anyone else dear to her.
She isn't angry when Johnny murders his own sister in S4E60 - because she almost burnt Ford's other best friend alive, and she knows Johnny did what he had to do to protect Ford and Freddie. However, she isn't prepared for him to run away since he's running from the police, this upsets her greatly (though not as greatly as it does her eleven year old niece Autumn). She just wants Johnny home. She's happy when he returns in S5E5.
Now her appearances are mainly just to support Johnny and Autumn.

" You could've just told me that she makes you uncomfortable, I understand, I don't like her either, not after what she did. " *caring, to Johnny about Cara*
" Ford needs a friend Freddie, and it looks like you're the only one that can be there for him... "
I'm very open to interpretation, although I'm very much a fan of EDM-sounding tracks, that are lively, but dramatic. You can use the S6E1 video linked on the audition to see the S6 intro sound track.
