The Chosen Ones: Minecraft Animation Series

Project Overview

The Chosen Ones is a Minecraft animation created by Tang CCXCII and GhostlyGoat. It started as a Minecraft roleplay where Tang created the characters and did the voice acting while Ghostly did the gameplay. The series was... not great and has since been deleted off YouTube. However, we are using the original story to create an animation, with the story done by Tang and the animation done by Ghostly. It centers on Skipper, who has found a mysterious man named Josaf. Josaf reveals that he and Skipper are wizards and that Skipper is the One chosen to defeat the Wither, who is trying to take over the world.

  • Starting Back Up

  • Deadline is May 8

    We have decided to push the deadline for auditions back to May 8, as Tang has, unfortunately, come down with the flu and needs to dedicate some extra time to college exams.   • The Chosen Ones Update

    First off, we would like to apologize for the lack of communication. We are very new to Casting Call. We mainly communicate on Discord. If you have auditioned, we strongly recommend joining this Discord server: https://discord.gg/KGyGKk3. It is important to note that being invited to this Discord does not mean you were cast. You will know you have been cast when you receive an email on here and are messaged on Discord. Currently, all major roles except for Pigton and the Wither have been cast. The role of the Wither had been cast to an offsite actor before we set up the Casting Call, but the actor has unfortunately parted ways with us. We will add the audition materials for the Wither on here very soon. However, Pigton auditions are currently our top priority. Before auditioning, please make sure you have a good quality mic. We need an experienced BLENDER animator who can use the BPS Minecraft Rig well. We would need to see some of your previous work, which is a requirement. It is NOT a paid role, so do not expect any money unless we say otherwise. 

Other things:

-We will descriptively write out scenes that you would need to animate

-We will tell you what nodes the final render should have

-You should know the basic particle systems and how they work

-Have SOMEWHAT of a good GPU so rendering will go by faster.

Lucine is an intelligent and scrappy Undead assassin who betrayed her people and their leader, the Wither. She serves as a voice of reason to Skipper and Derp, and sees the good in everyone.

  • Lucine and her brother, Cadmus, are facing each other. She is trying to convince him to join the side of the wizards.

    Lucine: Cadmus, brother, please join us! You may be Undead, but that does not mean you have to serve the Wither! He is destroying worlds full of innocent people for his own amusement!

  • Lucine is telling Skipper why she wants to help save Pigton from the Jungle Witch.

    Lucine: I owe it to him. He saved me from the Wither after my betrayal… he gave me food and weapons. He showed me people that were so much different from the cruel, shallow Undead… people that cared about the wellbeing of others. People that accepted me despite all my past evils.

  • Zum is staring at his map, he spots a wood works run by Cadmus

    Zum: Hmmmm, it is here where you shall go. That wicked skeleton is exporting all of our wood from this world. It seems he wants to uncover our hiding place, find that place and stop them!

  • Zum is showing Derp the ways of the sword. Derp is having troubles however.

    Zum: Relax yourself child, you are worrying too much. Close your eyes and let the blade control you! Find yourself in the blade, and in there you will become the strongest.

  • Old Miner is transporting ores into the forgery, he finds some zombies and yells to Skipper (who’s in another room) to help

    Old Miner: Skipper! (sighs) Skiiipppeerrrrr! I’m gonna need help with this, we got company!

A Pigman Wizard with a mysterious and dark past. He is known for his eccentric personality, his extreme magical skill, and his brutal fighting style.

  • Pigton is explaining why the Jungle Witch was after him.

    Pigton: When I was young, I wanted to be a witch. I was fascinated by their abilities; wizards always seemed lame compared to them. My parents tried to kill me when they found this out. I blew up the house in self-defense. My mother summoned the Jungle Witch to “teach me a lesson” in her dying words.

  • Pigton believes there is only one solution to defeating the Death Guards. He is very somber about this.

    Pigton: There is only one way to stop them. We can keep fighting, but they will keep coming back. It is I who they want dead. I cannot let them hurt anyone else. I will give them what they want.

A talking rabbit demon sent by the Wither to kill the Chosen One. The main antagonist of Season 1; he is very childish, short-tempered, and violent. NOTE: This role requires frequent yelling and screaming in almost every scene he is in.

  • Fang sees as one passes a test. He is surprised and says in his scratchy high pitched voice…

    Fang: He didn’t move! He has passed the test. He was about to sacrifice his life as proof that he was telling the truth.

  • Fang is thrown off by Skipper’s sudden arrival at his base.

    Fang: (scared, to himself) Oh no, the Chosen One has come to me… I was supposed to come to him… (louder, more confident, to the Guards) IT’S THE CHOSEN ONE, GET HIM!!!!

An incredibly cruel and vicious Zombie Pigman who serves as the Wither's second-in-command and communicates telepathically with him. Known for love of torture, the only enemy deadlier than him is the Wither himself.

  • Impus sees Skipper for the first time, they are surrounded by war and are about 20 feet away from each other. He fills with rage due to Skipper’s annoyance.

    Impus: COWARD! I’ll kill YOU and your stupid villager friend, I’LL KILL ALL OF YOU AND ANYONE YOU LOVE! You hide behind a stupid black box in the middle of the jungle! We know where you hide! WE KNOW YOUR WEAKNESS! Face me and DIE!

  • Impus is fighting Lucine in an ice spike biome. He is teasing her, making her angry to get the upper hand in the fight.

    Impus: I look you in the eye and I see a TRAITOR! You’re just a little girl who can’t even get her own BROTHER to join her. You (grunts due to dodging sword)... Have failed him! You are nothing but a sad, sad little girl…

  • Cadmus kneels to Impus, being crowned 2 mighty blades. He has anger and desperation inside of him due to his sister’s wrongdoings.

    Cadmus: I… I will not fail you, my Lord. I will find the chosen one… And end him along with ALL of the wizard scum!

  • Cadmus had finished setting up his base for the undead, primed with a superweapon. He looks into the horizon with his knights beside him.

    Cadmus: HAHAHAHA! They… They will know now, we will show them FEAR, DEATH, POWER! They… Do not know what we can do, we will shut them down. Killing them ALL! (Sighs) Prime the defenses, send out the fleet and DO NOT… DO NOT rest until they’re ALL FOUND!

This three-headed monstrosity is the Ruler of the Undead and the main antagonist of the entire series. Pure evil, the Wither will not rest until the world has been dominated and eventually destroyed by him and his Undead Army. He prefers to work from behind the scenes, with most of the actual fighting done by Undead generals, such as Impus, and assassins, such as Fang. Although he is the main antagonist, he makes very few actual appearances. When he does appear, it is important that he steals the scene.

  • The Wither and Skipper have met for the very first time. The Wither is mocking Skipper.

    Wither: You think you can beat me, but you are weak. You are just a dull blip on my mighty conquest for destruction and dominance! I, the Wither, son of the Great Undead Lord Herobrine, am a god. You are nothing.

  • The Wither and Skipper are meeting for the very last time; only one will survive this final fight.

    Wither: Here we are, two men on an epic collision course. There is no turning back. Whoever wins will have power and glory that would make the most legendary warriors envious. Whoever loses will die in vain, erased from the history books and smudged from memory. That glory will be mine and your existence shall be forgotten!

  • The Jungle Witch has trapped Skipper and Lucine in a bedrock jail.

    Jungle Witch: You really think you’re smart, don’t you? Hate to break it to you, but you are an utter moron, Mr. Chosen One. Bedrock is immune to your noob magic! Oh, by the way, you’re gonna have to wait an hour in this boring jail before I come back with your punishment! You will be miserable! (cackles)

  • The Witch, who had been promising to return Pigton to Skipper and Lucine, reveals that she has been lying the whole time.

    Jungle Witch: Oh, remember when I said that if you pass the test you get Pigton? Well, you both already failed. Instead, the prize for winning will be… watching me cut his head off!

  • Jal is explaining to his client, Fang, how a month of magic training has given him the skills to kill a Wizard.

    Jal: Don’t be fooled, Fang. A month was enough. I may not have all those magical skills, but I am intimately familiar with the ways of a Wizard. Wizards, however, are not familiar with my ways. I have killed several Wizards.

  • Jal is revealing just how greedy he actually is.

    Jal: They all say money is power! If that’s true, then I’m the most powerful out of all of us! That, however, does not mean that I don’t want more!

  • Krokodil is explaining why he is alive as well as the weird mask on his head.

    Krokodil: Yeah, Fang brought me back shortly after I died. As for this weird mask, it’s a little invention of mine called a Voodoo Mask. I have several. If I happen to be wearing your face, any damage you do to me will hurt you instead!

Extremely capable, the Undead Army is seeking him out, aiming to convert him to a zombie and use his power for themselves.

  • Beacher is explaining his motivations to one of his minions.

    Beacher: I was once an average librarian, living a very peaceful life in my very peaceful village. The one day, the Undead invaded my village, killed the Mayor, and declared it as their own. Soon after, a bunch of fricking Wizards appeared and started attacking. Bombs were dropped and spells were cast. Before I could say my own name, the village was destroyed. There were very few survivors. That was when I realized: nobody gives a damn about us villagers. Well now, WE WILL MAKE THEM GIVE A DAMN! SOON, WE WILL DOMINATE THIS WORLD! VILLAGERS WILL REIGN SUPREME!
