The Adventures of Paras And Sala
Project Overview
The story starts off with the two main characters introducing paras. Paras is an over joyous confident adventure that fears nothing in the face of danger. His sister Sala is the opposite, Sala is a lot more to herself and is more self reliant compared to her brother. Sala is always getting swooped up in Para’s antics. As they stumble on something interesting yet again at a mysterious reflective surface That leaves them with questions. After seeing their appearance in the reflection and examining themselves they realize that not everything is as it seems. Paras seems to speak out loud making the accusation that he doesn't look right. Sala on the other hand reassures Paras that he's looked like that his whole life. But Paras insists that something is different, like how his joints feel stiff and how he can turn his head fully. Sala agrees with some of the points that paras says. Sala replying with “Yeah I guess you're right, So what should we do?” Paras brings up Ancient dragon drakon. As They walk back to the village speak to the elder to gather insight of their designated journey.
The two travel to the mountain of Vermooth. Where they meet drakon. The two ask the question about the pool of reflection. With drakons response being deep and basey revealing Para’s and Sala’s questions. “It appears that you have stumbled upon a truly rare sight indeed. An object not grown in nature. Placed by the denizens to foresee your destiny.” “Destiny”? Sala replies. Drakon continues saying the lines of “Another pool I know of, for it may reveal more that you seek. Your answer relies on the secrets beheld by the legendary warrior with a visor made of gold.” Drakon spits out a gem that gives the two insight onto the location of where the warrior is. (Insert riddle that ill come up with later).
After defeating the spartan the two are revealed by the spartan that they need to see the world around them and look at the “bigger picture” the warrior stares into the camera as he dies on immediately. After finally being able to gaze into the reflective pool once more they are revealed with nothing more than just their reflections. In anger Paras punches the mirror and it shatters to the ground in pieces. “The journey was a waste” Paras exclaims as Sala apologizes to Paras for and tries to reassure him. But still Paras and Sala are left with questions unanswered. They head back home to the hill where the first mirror is where Paras stares into its reflective wonders once more. Paras keeps staring harder and closer until he starts noticing a black circular object just right behind him. The camera pull focuses revealing the Camera lens over his shoulder. Paras gasps and looks behind him. Exclaiming “that's the big secret? You're telling me all the time I've been in front of a camera?”

Sala is the sister to Paras, You value in the traits where your silly brother does not. You are quick to think which is what always saves you in your brothers mistakes. But talking in front of people makes you nervous. and is not your strong suit But you aren't too shy to voice your opinion when your loved ones are in danger. You love your brother and you will try your absolute best to let nothing hurt him.
[This scene is the moment the adventure starts. Paras has embellished in the idea that this grand adventure is worth seeking out. You know the dangers of this quest might entail, and you know that if your brother goes alone he will for sure not make it back in one piece. The hopeful thing to do is try and convince him to stay. If not, support him in this journey through the great beyond]
Sala: (nervous) Paras.. are you sure this adventure.. is a good idea?
Paras:(follow up line for context not apart of Sala's audition) This could be our break Sala! The chance to find out about an ancient dragon that lives on top of mt vermooth. To discover a legendary secret about some pool of reflection!
Sala: (concerned) But, life was fine before all this. And it still is!... Nothing has changed.
Sala: (passionate/concerned) just don't think that this journey is worth this risk! Sure the great beyond would be fun but things are dangerous outside this village.
[After meeting Drakon the Dragon, Paras is left stumbled on a mysterious riddle that the dragons tong wove. You reassure Paras that the gem is what matters that you both obtained.]
Paras:(follow up line for context not apart of Sala's audition) Quick movements make it blurry? And Not letting it be my downfall?
Sala: I'm pretty sure he was talking metaphorically. Don't worry about it. We have the gem right? That's all that really matters. Will be at the second mirror hopefully soon
Sala: Yeah, that was something. Try not to overthink it okay?
[This scene is when Paras is finally revealed that the truth is nothing and that this whole journey has been for nothing. As Sala you see all the accomplishment's that you both have endured. As well, as the destinations you both have stumbled upon through the great beyond.]
Sala:(worried/concerned/serious) Paras!! It will be ok! We have learned a lot from this adventure. I mean look how strong we have become!
Sala: Paras!! It will be ok! We have learned a lot from this adventure. I mean look how strong we have become! Their are so many places and beings we have met. We climbed mountains, crawled through deserts, swam through rivers that gave me chills down my spine. I'd say this adventure had a lot of-You are then cut off by Para's next line
You are what they call the minotaur (also the embodiment of spartan 117 Mark VI) in the heroes journey. As a forbearer of this sacred ground you will be the sworn protector of the "second" mirror. You know what the mirror holds, and how the viewers lens is the key and to look further beyond the bigger picture. I encourage to put a spin on this said beloved character for this is a group of originality hehehe. High or Low octaves of The Spartan are okay. This role isn't gender locked
Spartan (annoyed) No, what? I don't care what you say you aren't getting this mirror.
Spartan: (pierced by a sword) Agh.. you got me.. you got me good.Spartan: (gasping for air) Take the mirror. You've earned it..
Spartan: (brink of death) The mirror. Reveals all. But you need to see beyond it, to understand.
Spartan (dying breath) The mirror is only the lens, To the bigger picture...
Paras is go getting enthusiastic adventurer, He is as good at fighting as he is Naive. Paras always sees the good and the bright side of a situation. Opposed to his sister Sala. He is always dragging Sala into his antics, as they set off on their greatest adventure together through the great beyond. The three Lines that will be available are the three stages of how Paras changes out through the short film.
[This scene is the moment the adventure starts. Sala has a doubt that this adventure is worth it. And whether or not its safe. As Paras you are trying your absolute hardest to convince your sister that this adventure is worth a life time.]

PARAS: (reassuring) Don't worry Sala, I wont let anything happen to you. And besides the far beyond is nothing we cant handle![Paras in this scene is questioning the philosophical riddle that the dragon known as Drakon about what lays in store for the two adventures]
PARAS: Yeah I guess you're right. But I still cant shake the feeling Drakon told us that this was our Destiny.
SALA:(follow up line for context not apart of audition for Paras) Yeah, that was something. Try not to overthink it okay?
PARAS:(fired up) it makes me so excited! I cannot wait! I can't stop thinking about it! What if our destiny is something super cool![This scene is when Paras is finally revealed that the truth is nothing and that this whole journey, scrapped by assumptions made by the observer. Paras sees the second mirror is as same as the first one and is frustrated with his ever-long adventure being for nothing]
Paras: Why would the dragon send us here. What was the point if a second mirror exists just for it to be a copy of the first one. What's the point of even having this adventure in the first place. When it was all just a wild goose chase for a mirror that already exists??Paras looks into the mirror in anger and throws the gem into the mirror causing both items to shatter.
Paras: (disappointed) Lets just go home Sala. (ignore the 11)11.
You are an old wise elder of the near by village where Paras and Sala reside. The two children have set off to ask you question about the ancient pool of reflection (mirror). That you have heard of but as your age creeps on you everyday until your last croak. Your memory is becoming lost as well. But there is one memory that never slips by as time progresses. You still know the answerer of answers The great Dragon, Drakon.
(/masculine/feminine tones are all welcomed. age isn't a requirement if you can pull off being old that's pretty cool in my books lol)
Elder Frog: (discovery of mirror) It seems you have stumbled upon something that is truly a rare sight indeed.
Elder Frog:(analyzing the mirror) From what I can tell this could be a calling from another being. Or a mistake that fate lead you too.In all my life I have never seen such an object. This leads to question on what lies next in store for you both
Elder Frog: I do not have the answers you seek.
(enthusiastic) but, I know of a being that knows all.Paras: A being that knows all??
Elder Frog: Yes dear child. Something that is older then time itself.
Elder Frog: Drakon. Dragon of old.
You are Drakon the dragon, You are a sleepy, but a restless dragon when you know adventurers are climbing your mountain to seek wisdom. You are annoyed with the constant tatter of their feet as it disturbs your rich horde which you lay on to slumber. As the dragon you are, you are loud, confident with a grumble. a good reference I had in mind was: Paarthurnax The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim. Or Shenron from Dragon Ball Z. Drakon:(stern) (after the question of the mirror has been asked) It appears that you have stumbled upon an object, not grown in nature. But placed by the denizens of this plain to foresee your destiny.
Drakon: (stern) A second mirror I know of, go forth for it may reveal more that you seek. Your answer relies on the secrets beheld by the legendary warrior with a visor made of gold.
Drakon:(stern) Go now, for the gem will guide you. What tells no lies but tells no tales. The fog lays dormant in the dead of night but trembles when the moon is high. The quick sudden movements make the vison blurry. There is more then meets the eyes Don't let that be your downfall.
