Project Overview
Teen Titans: A Broken Youth is a comic that can be found on Webtoon and bought as a physical copy! It follows the beloved Teen Titans after their adventures in Tokyo, giving each Titan an equal opportunity to shine in each episode/chapter.
If you're a fan of DC and the gang, please do not hesitate to audition! Even if you're not super caught up with their lore, we still welcome you to audition with open arms :)
We will be casting two or three video editors, three promo artists, and an understudy of each character.
FOR VOICE TALENT, YOU MUST:
Have constant access to a good microphone (minimal background noises, crisp audio, zero static) and an editing software like Audacity.
Be fifteen years old or above.
Include a brief introduction in the description of your audition — include your Discord, as well! :)

Robin is the face of The Teen Titans, whether or not the rest of the gang will admit it. Robin is charismatic, cocky as ever, and fairly humorous! He should be voiced as similarly to his voice in the ‘Teen Titans Go!’ cartoon, but I am very receptive to other interpretations and other voices! For your audition, please complete the following: while recording your lines, please do ONE TAKE with your best ‘Teen Titans Go!’ Robin impression, and do THE SECOND TAKE in whatever voice you think fits him! :)

Starfire is an incredibly powerful hero and an even better friend! Her soft, naive personality and her kind approach to things does not go unnoticed. For this series, I’m wanting to keep her voice soft and feminine. You must be able to embody her demeanor if you’re going to portray her; she is a very dynamically-focused character! (Concerned) Robin, are you feeling well?
(Confused) I do not know what you mean.
(Excited) Raven, we must do the watching of birds; I just purchased a book so I can become more familiar with the different types.
There isn’t much to say about Cyborg other than the fact that he is the comedic relief and such a reliable friend for the Titans; his humor and overall chill personality is what they need to keep their spirits up. FOR THIS CHARACTER, I AM LOOKING SPECIFICALLY FOR AN AFRICAN AMERICAN MALE! I would like to keep his nationally and race as close to canon as possible, and I strongly believe that casting someone of the same race will be doing him justice. His voice should be smoother, very energetic, but also chill at the same time. This is where you can find some examples of what I’m looking for him to sound similar to.

Raven is the refreshing, dry-humor character that will stop at no costs to throw out a bit of an insult. For her voice, I am looking for a female who can maintain the monotone, dry and simple voice patterns she has. Here are a couple of lines that embody what she should sound like.

(Stern) I’m not doing that. Ask Robin.
(Angry) You do not have any control over me. I control you.
An all-time favorite, Beast Boy is witty, humorous, and extremely entertaining! I do not mind if you have an androgynous voice type or masculine voice type as long as you can get his speech patterns down! He has a higher, raspy voice, but definitely not feminine. Here are some clips of his voice!

(Whining) Oh, come on! I can’t just eat a little bit before we go?
There are various supporting characters that appear throughout the comic that need voices, too; Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman — you name it! For your audition, please submit a recent demo you have done that showcases your various talents and voice range. In the description, please include your voice range and what gender you would prefer to play. If you make it onto the team, I will then select a character that best fits your voice type.

If you do not feel as though the main characters fit your vocal range, there are plenty of opportunities to make it into the episodes by being background characters! Some episodes will feature antagonists and simply just supporting characters that do not have as many speaking lines as the main characters. For your audition, please include your Discord in the description, your microphone information, what gender of character you would like to portray, and showcase your vocal talents by doing as many voices you can do! :) Please keep the audition around two minutes long or less.

As the title of the role states, you will be in charge of finding appropriate sound effects, editing the comic dub and putting the audio files from the editors and sound effects into the video. I will need to see some sort of project that you have done that you have done the video editing in; I will not hire people that have not done something like this or have zero experience in, unfortunately! Please put links to the projects you have done in your audition, along with how long you have been doing video editing for.

***We are only looking for digital artists!** Promo artists will have the opportunity to create some art pieces for various scenarios, like social media posts, thumbnails for our YouTube videos, and even designing the Discord server's banner and profile picture! You will need to have a strong work ethic, be easily reachable, and be a strong communicator! Artists are so incredibly important to me and this project, and we would love to give you the opportunity to shine and get your art out there!
