Super Mario Into the Literal Triangle - A Mario Plush Movie (Voice Acting Auditions & More)

Project Overview

This project is a feature length film that utilizes plush characters of the Super Mario series in an original story by me. As a movie done with plush characters, I see it as a certain form of animation because the illusion of life is given when I'm holding the toys and having them act on camera. Notable examples of Mario plush videos are the Cute Mario Bros. and SuperMarioLogan. I am seeking any talented individual who would like to perform any voice acting role in this grand adventure! 

WHAT TO EXPECT:

This gig is for any voice actor who is interested in dubbing almost every character. Originally, this was a solo project, and I was going to voice EVERY character, but it would be too much work, so it would be nice to have anyone who's interested rerecord dialogue a majority of characters. So, I'd just film the scenes while the voice actors would later redub specific characters. Other gigs include producing some music for the soundtrack, like some song covers and animating a fantasy sequence.

NOTE: Roles for Yoshi and Captain Toad have been already cast, I still need someone to be Luigi.

UPDATE: I've got my Luigi, and I'm seeking anyone who wants to provide voices for extras.

  • LAST CALL FOR THE ROLE OF FALCO

    I've been able to open for one last role, Falco, from Star Fox. He makes a cameo in a couple of scenes, so I still want someone to try voicing this character. This audition page closes on April 14, 2021!

    The deadline to complete dialogue is between March 26th and May 1st. The overall FINAL (subject to change) deadline is still May 1st for those who can't make the March 26th deadline due to a busy schedule outside of this project, like starting school again. Good luck!

  • REMINDER - MAIN CAST DIALOGUE EARLY DEADLINE

    This is a reminder for my main cast members, with the roles of Luigi, Yoshi and Captain Toad, March 26th is an early deadline to finish and export their dialogue to me. This decision was made out of boredom and I wanted to complete this phase of production as quickly as possible before the release date, slated to be on June 12, 2021. Thank you and good luck!

Luigi is Mario's younger twin brother who is pretty much afraid of almost everything, but loves to pitch in and help everyone. Those characteristics define him as an understudy often classified as player 2. Although he's a little taller than Mario, he's a few years younger than him. Because of that statement I almost thought Luigi was older than Mario because he was taller, but I was wrong until I found out Luigi is younger than Mario, his height threw me off lol

Peach, the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom (and Mario's possible girlfriend). A lot of times, even when Bowser is not kidnapping her repeatedly, Peach often watches over her country like the mother of all the inhabitants. But when Mario needs saving, she becomes determined to help him out, as he does for her.

Krudd is an original character played by a Ken doll with long blonde hair whose job is to dress up as a regular tourist in order to also perform his police duties. He's basically a cop in cosplay/disguise for a new kind of job on the cruise from the beginning of the movie. The full job title is espionage cosplayer. AND he's completely improvised although I'm adding him into the story at the last minute.

  • (disguise as a surfer dude) Surf's up dude! My man! Woah, I saw the whole thing, dude. First you were like woah! And you were like WOAH! And you were like woah...

  • (disguise as a princess) Into the unknown!! Into the UNKNOWN!! I like singing this song although everyone's asleep!

  • (just Krudd's regular self when he's not in disguise as anyone) Well, there's no way that anyone else can handle the truth about why this job exists. I'm just a police officer that dresses as a regular human being, or a movie star or a cartoon character instead of the usual blue uniform and badge. It's pretty much what it means to be an espionage cosplayer, although it's the closest I'll be to being a wolf in sheep's clothing. Wait a minute.

Yoshi is Mario and Luigi's ridable pet dinosaur who joins the brothers' journey to return to their well-deserved vacation in Isle Delfino.
