Project Overview
Hey Guys! AnAnimatedGamer here and welcome to this casting call page for the Super Mario Bros: Heroes of the Stars dub.
For those who don't know, Super Mario Bros: Heroes of the Stars is a fan-made sprite animated web-series created by AsylusGoji91 (King Asylus) on YouTube.
11 episodes of the series are published as of now, and thus I've decided to make a dub of the series with assistance from YouTuber's "SynchroProdigy" and "Arclad84"
There will be more episodes coming soon, and thus more roles will be posted for people to audition.

Here are the rules to audition:
You must have a great quality microphone (Audio clips with too much background noise and static will not be accepted)
You must have a easy and reliable way for me to contact you and send files. (Skype and Discord to be exact) (Note: You HAVE to be frequently active in order for this method of contact to work)
Stay in character at all-times, it is very important to stay true to the characters voices.
Please post contact information along with your audition (If you fail to contact me within 10 days, you will not be able to voice for this project)

Mario is the main character and protagonist of the long-running and highly successful Mario series. He was created by Japanese video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto and also serves as the main mascot of Nintendo. Mario made his first appearance as the protagonist of the arcade game Donkey Kong, released in 1981 and Super Mario Bros. on the NES in 1985.
Mario is basically a simple character without a solid personality since he was meant for players to integrate their own personality into his character. When his demeanor is shown, Mario is aggressive and impulsive, sometimes going head-on into things without much meditation. Despite these potential flaws, Mario is a brave and kind-hearted hero with a strong sense of justice, morality and righteousness.

Luigi is a fictional character featured in video games and related media released by Nintendo. Created by prominent game designer Shigeru Miyamoto, Luigi is portrayed as the slightly younger but taller fraternal twin brother of Nintendo's mascot Mario, and appears in many games throughout the Mario franchise, often as a sidekick to his twin brother.

Yoshi is a dinosaur-like character that acts as an ally of Mario and Luigi and is the protagonist of his own franchise. Among members of the Yoshi species hailing from Yoshi's Island, any Yoshi may be identified as the "Yoshi" character, and as such, not all iterations of the character are necessarily the same one.
Yoshi is one of the main protagonists of Super Mario Bros Heroes of the Stars along side Mario, Luigi and (Temporary Ally) Bowser.

Bowser is Mario's ultimate nemesis who is constantly trying to kidnap Princess Peach and take over the Mushroom Kingdom. Bowser is still a villain though he also became the main protagonists (Friend of Foe) with Mario, Luigi and Yoshi in Super Mario Bros Heroes of the Stars titled by AsylusGoj91.

But this time, I have a masterful plan that's guaranteed to not fail!!
Okay! All you gotta do is to steal everything in the secret treasure chamber and then bring my beautiful angel, Princess Peach, to me.
Wario is the arch rival of Mario and the antihero of the Wario series. He is extremely greedy and will do anything to get money, be it stealing or going on an adventure (but mainly the latter). He is also a miser, as he never lets anyone touch his treasure. He is also gluttonous and addicted to sweets. Alas, his greedy nature overtakes him and he goes out of control occasionally, even going as far as to double-cross his friends. Like Mario, he has many Italian traits.

Waluigi is Wario's sidekick and Rival of Luigi from the Super Mario series. He's personified as a comic relief character and a boastful, ill-tempered foil to Luigi. He has bad chemistry with most other characters besides Wario, and is an openly rude and mean-spirited troublemaker. He has a perpetual scowl and is quick to anger, with earlier bios stating that he dislikes others being happy.

Bowser Jr. is the obvious son of Bowser who appears in the Super Mario Bros series. He is also appeared in the secondary protagonists with Wario, Waluigi and Boshi in Super Mario Bros. Heroes of the Stars.

My father, King Bowser, has a masterful plan to kidnap the Princess and steal that treasure of the Peach's Castle!
Parakarry is Mario's fourth party member in Paper Mario. Parakarry works for the Post Office in Toad Town, the capital of the Mushroom Kingdom; his boss is the Postmaster. Parakarry tends to be quite clumsy and often loses the letters he is supposed to deliver, and it is also noted in-game that he is rather slow at delivering mail.

Princess "Toadstool" Peach also once known as Princess Peach Toadstool or just Peach, is the Pink Princess ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom and often appears in the Super Mario Bros games.

Okay, Mario. Follow me to the Balcony. I have something very interesting to show you.
Toadbert is a male Toad who debuted in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. He seems to be good friends with Toadiko and has a tendency to say "by boogity" very often. He is one of the most reoccurring Toad characters throughout the Mario & Luigi RPG series). Toadbert is distinguished by his blue mushroom cap with white spots, yellow tie, and thick glasses. Toadbert appears to be on very good terms with the Mario Bros., as seen by the help that he had provided for them throughout the series (from providing them with hints to almost fighting alongside them in a battle against Sunnycide from Partners in Time).
Voice: Try giving Toadbert a nerdy voice, with a mix of a regular Toad voice. (You can do your own take on the characters voice, if you want)

Kamek (referred to as Magikoopa on occasion) is an old, yet powerful Magikoopa and apparent advisor to Bowser (or at least a high-ranking member in the Koopa Troop), and the arch-enemy of Yoshi. He serves as one of the secondary antagonists in the Mario franchise, alongside Bowser Jr., and is one of the two main villains of the Yoshi franchise, alongside Baby Bowser.

Kammy Koopa is a female Magikoopa and high-ranking member of the Koopa Troop and apparently Bowser's right-hand woman, being described as the "brains behind Bowser". She appears in Paper Mario 64 as the secondary antagonist, and in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door as a minor villain.
Voice and Impression: Kammy's voice must sound like how she is in the games. You can give your own take of the character if you want.

Boshi is a Blue Yoshi with an attitude, and the rival of Yoshi. Boshi is a loner and wears sunglasses and a spiked collar around his neck. Boshi, like many other Yoshis, can only speak the Yoshi language. Yoshi is bilingual and translates Boshi to make Mario understand. He (along with many other Yoshis) lives on Yo'ster Isle, home of the famous Mushroom Derby races. However, he speaks in a much deeper pitch compared to the other Yoshis.

Professor Kolorado is an adventure-loving, bold Koopa Troopa explorer and archaeologist in Paper Mario. A former student of Professor Frankly, Kolorado lives in Koopa Village, but is rarely home, preferring to go out on quests for ancient artifacts, to the displeasure of his wife. He is the idol of his neighbor Kooper, who eventually becomes his assistant at the end of Paper Mario. Kolorado is a parody of Indiana Jones, as they are both named after an American state and they are both legendary archaeologists. Both wear similar outfits and go on quests for unique artifacts, and Kolorado is also chased by a Spiny Tromp similar to the boulder scene from the movie Raiders of the Lost Ark. He also bears some similarity to Flint Cragley from Super Paper Mario.

Princess Shroob is the main antagonist of the game Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time for the Nintendo DS. She is second in command of the alien race known as the Shroobs (her older sister is the leader), although initially it appears that she is their leader, since Elder Princess Shroob was absent, trapped in the Cobalt Star by Peach. She and her sister set off a full invasion of the Mushroom Kingdom to make it their own.

Jr. Troopa is a young koopa who is a minor antagonist in Super Mario Bros. Heroes of the Stars. After the Heroes of the Stars intrude on his playground, he becomes determined to take revenge upon them.

Goomboss, originally known as the Goomba King, is one of the first bosses that Mario and Goombario encounter in Paper Mario. He later reappears as a boss in Super Mario 64 DS and Mario Kart DS.

General Shrooz is the second in command of the Shroob army and Princess Shroob's sworn protector. Having lost his arm when he was young due to unknown reasons, it was replaced with a mechanical prosthetic created by Grodus. In addition to replacing his lost arm, it can transform into any weapon he desires. His "Devil's Eye" covered by an eyepatch holds the dangerous ability to trap his foes within his subconscious.

Sir Grodus is the supreme leader of the organization called the X-Nauts and one of the main antagonists of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. The organization consists of X-Nauts, a band of thugs determined to capture the Crystal Stars before Mario so they can dominate the world with the treasure behind the Thousand-Year Door.

Twink is a Star Kid in Paper Mario. He is a star that helps Princess Peach in her time of need when she gets kidnapped by Bowser. He frequently gives Mario and his partners information on where the Star Spirits are being held captive. He was born in Starborn Valley. He ascended to Star Haven immediately after Bowser stole the Star Rod. Some dialogue from the other Star Kids still in Starborn Valley suggests that he had somewhat of a big brother relationship with the others and they looked after him when he still lived there.

Starlow (referred to as Chippy by Bowser) is a recurring character who debuted in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. She is a Star Sprite who helps Mario and Luigi by giving hints and holding items. She has a similar role and personality to Stuffwell from the previous game. Her name is a portmanteau of the words "star" and "yellow".
