Steven Universe Project: Tale of Two Gems (Need a Pyrope)
Project Overview
Thank you for checking out our Casting Call. Be sure to check the guidelines down below before auditioning for a character. If you get cast you will not only be apart of the project, but you will also will be able to do videos as your gem (though its not required) allowing you to express yourself on the channel.
This series tells a story of two escapee homeworld gems, and a human. Each episode ranges from the past to the present, featuring quirky shenanigans from the gems and human, to flashbacks or stories about the gem war. The two of the gems are named Pyrope and Jade, and the human- er wait... horned human... thingy? gem.. human hybrid goat? AGH! Uh... OKEN. (sorry oken)
Requirements for Project:
Decent Mic: to be in the project we need to have little to no white noise or background noise. it makes the audio easier to edit and put together
Friendly: We need voice actors that can get along and communicate with each other as a team whilst doing the project. this way we will get work done fast and efficiently
Dependable: The creator currently posts videos ever so often, including videos with his Original characters. He will need lines frequently. This project is long term, it could even be extending on for years. we ask you with great courtesy for you to only audition if you are okay with going by these conditions.
Availability: We need actors/actresses who can socalize and communicate with one another, preferably on discord.
Steven Universe: Since this is a project revolving around the popular Cartoon Network show Steven Universe, you need to have watched the show to understand some of the topics within the project.
Longterm Project: As listed before, this is a long term project. It could be stretching from now to years in the future.
This is a lot to ask of people especially since its an unpaid project (He might be able to pay the actors in the future if things go well) It is a lot of work and it can be a little stressful at times but we promise that it is really fun!

Pyrope Is a warrior gem who abandoned the war after seeing gem fusion experiments, causing her to join the rebellion. she is a tomboy gem who can manipulate flames for long periods of time and long distances. she can summon a gaunt maul from her gem. She doesn't mind if her room get a little dirty and teases oken from time to time. pyrope also doesn't take criticism of her family very well. (Her original voice is in the video linked above. The VA was no longer responding to texts so we had to replace them)
