Starcraft II: Custom Unit Voicelines
Project Overview
I'd like to provide the small but dedicated modding community of Starcraft II with fresh, new voices to use for their projects and custom content. With the help of volunteer voice actors like you, creators will be able to polish their maps and mods with voices never before heard in the game.
Roles differ from traditional long-term voice acting; instead of reading out lengthy, detailed paragraphs, you will be reading out simple one-liners that the unit says when interacting with it. Have fun, and remember, a role isn't taken until it's taken!
Update 7/5/2022: Added the Combat Medic / Doctor and Transport Vehicle roles.
Update 7/7/2022: Changed a few audition lines. You do not have to resubmit an audition to include the new lines (unless you want to of course)
Update 7/27/2022: Upped the deadline to allow for further submissions.
When you are logged in, you can comment, add submissions, create projects, upvote, search open roles, and way more. Login here.
A worryingly loose and wreckless German man/woman with a passion for dominating enemies using heavy armor and even heavier weaponry.
Go, go, get on it.
Captain's orders, people. Let's drive.
Don't stop for anything, let's go.
Cannon's loaded, let's go use it.
Vehicle is ready for war, captain.
You wanted the big gun, ya?
Didn't your momma teach you some manners?
Stick-shift in one hand, rum in the other. Ah, a good day to be alive.
Scheisse, someone get that old woman out of the road!
A Major, Officer, Lieutenant, Captain, Commander, or Squad Leader. This disciplined American man or woman knows how to get things done and speaks with a confident tone.
I got the what and the why.
Give me your hardest, sir.
We're ready for anything.
Alright, lets hustle up
We got a spotter over there, right?
Loud and clear, sir
RETREEEAT!
Fall back!
Move, damnit, move!
A cold Australian, Russian, or Canadian killer with a deep, raspy, almost whispery voice. This man/woman speaks with such stoicism and calmness that it's almost hard to tell something isn't right in the head.
No one escapes a sniper's eyes.
Who's dying today?
One shot is all I need.
Everything above your head's gonna be a fine red mist.
They've spotted me!
I can't stay here!
Keep me at a distance.
Locked...And loaded.
Quick and painless.
A man or woman who's tired of his job and even more tired of the people around him, this backline support speaks with a American, American-Country, German, Canadian, or French accent. Though German is preferred, any of these are perfectly fine.
Medical professional onsite
Combat medic on patrol
Doctor's here, who needs help?
Suck it up, it's just a flesh wound
Medbags are on me, people
I can't cure incompetence
Did you run out of troops!?
What do you mean ME!?
What, with this dainty little thing!?
This enthusiastic and relatively young driver's goal is to get from point A to point B. He or she speaks with a slight American-Country accent.
Whoo boy, gettin' a bit dizzy
Where we headed, boss?
Radio's blarin', what was that?
On the way, cap'n
Let's get this show on the road
I'll get us there, don't you worry
We're taking heat, taking heat!
Get us out of here!
Floor it!
