Sonichu Issue 1 Comic Dub (And Sonic Recasting)
Project Overview
Sonichu is a fan comic made by Christian Weston Chandler (or as she now goes by Christine Weston Chandler). I've been wanting to dub Sonic material for a while now so why not start with one of the most infamous pieces of fanon in the Sonic series.
At first I was unsure if I would continue dubbing this series. After all the support I've received I've decided to continue it as a side project! This casting call will include characters introduced in issue 1 as well as a recast of a character introduced prior!
Requirements:
-Decent mic (this one is obvious. No white noise, background noises, have clear audio, etc)
-Must have a discord account (If you get cast this is how we will communicate)
-Please be at least 14 years of age or older
-Be patient (I'm the once who does all the editing and sound mixing so if I take a while to edit everything in please understand that I have other things going on in my life)
-Be committed (please send your lines to me on time. If something happens let me know and I can give you an extension. I try to be as lenient as I can because I know life happens),
-Be respectful (Pretty self-explanatory)
-Have fun!

Deadline in one week
Hi everyone! First off, thank you to everyone who has auditioned so far I wouldn't be able to do this without you guys! Next week is the deadline so if you want to audition for someone and you haven't yet please make sure you do that! Auditions will close July 15th at 8:00PM EST, if you send in an audition a couple minutes late though I wont hold it against you. If you don't get cast please do not take it personally, it just means I didn't feel like your voice fit the role and their will be many more roles in the future that you can audition for (seriously, this comic has A LOT of characters). With that said good luck everyone! :) -

Deadline change!
Hi everyone! Sorry about another update so soon! I've been doing some thinking and I've come to the conclusion that having the deadline being May 20th was overkill. I usually like to give about 2 weeks for people to audition for projects but as this is just one character needing casting I just decided to shorten it. The new deadline is now May 13th. I apologize if this may have caused any inconvenience! -
Part 2 casting is now open!
Part 1 of Sonichu issue 0 has been completed and uploaded. Now it is time to get started on casting for part 2! Their is only one new character that appears in episode 3 of issue 0, that being Naitsirhc, Chris Chan's evil counter part. Casting will remain open until the 22nd, Please audition if interested!

Kel is Rosechus trainer, She is kind and caring and wants Rosechu to be happy. After issue 0 she becomes a minor role and is only seen rarely. Her voice should be somewhere in the mid-high range and she should sound like a teenager or young-adult.

Naitsirhc is the adopted son of Giovanni and a member of Team Rocket as well as a evil version of Chris Chan. He doesn't have many lines in his debut but he becomes more prominent as time goes on. I don't have a voice in mind for him so just give him a voice that you think fits! I'm also unsure of how to pronounce his name so just try your best.

Blachu or Blake as he's later known as was supposed to be a clone of Sonichu but due to an accident Sonichu's DNA combines with a splash of Cherry Cola, creating Blachu.
He starts off as a villain and a rival to Sonichu but eventually becomes one of Sonichus friends and allies.
For Blakchu I imagine his voice being a little breathy and sounding similar to a brooding anime character. If you want though you can also audition for this character doing a Shadow the hedgehog impression. It's up to you!
(Talking to Giovanni) So if I was cloned from "Sonichu's DNA" shouldn't that make him my father? Also, why am I black and not yellow?

Giovanni is the boss of the criminal organization and the father of Naitsirhc (at least in Sonichu he is). He is a reoccurring antagonist and aids in the creation of Blachu.
I don't have a set voice in mind for Giovanni other than, "evil sounding." I'll leave it up to anyone who auditions to interpret that in anyway they want!
(Looking at Blachu) Well Robotnik, here's the result of your skills and our genius! What's your opinion?
Perfect! Now we have the plan to lure Sonichu into our trap! After training Black Sonichu (Blachu) will kidnap Rosechu! Ha ha! Good work! Now make a machine to drain Sonichu's powers Dr. Robotnik!

This character is being recast due to losing contact with the voice actor originally cast.
I'm not going to explain this character since I'm going to assume if you know what Sonichu is you know what Sonic is as well.
Sonic does not make another major appearance in the series after episode 6 but acts as the deuteragonist for this issue.
For Sonic I'm looking for a voice similar to Ryan Drummond or Jason Griffith

Eggman/Robotnik is Sonic's arch-nemesis and (in Sonichu) aided in the creation of Blachu. Just like Giovanni Eggman is a reoccurring villain. This character sings at one point so please make sure your able to sing in whatever voice you use before auditioning!
For Eggman I'm looking for a voice similar to Mike Pollock's interpretation. If you want to do your own voice for him though feel free too!

Bill the Scientist is exactly what he sounds like, a scientist. He aided in the creation of Blachu and is the one who accidentally infused Sonichus DNA with Cherry Cola making Blachu's fur black and red. His face is not shown in his debut, all we see is the back of his head.
This character appears again at a later date.
For Bill I'm thinking a monotone "I'm so done with this" depressed kind of voice would fit. The reason I'm looking for this kind of voice is because of how little he cares that he ruined what was supposed to be Sonichus clone by, as mentioned earlier, adding Cherry Cola to Sonichus DNA sample. If you have a different interpretation in mind however, by all means, go for it!
*Accidentally mixes the DNA sample with Cherry Cola* Uh oh! Oh, well!
