Sonic Vanguard (Act 1)
Project Overview
A fanfiction story described as “a crossover adventure where unique worlds will come together in an epic story set in an optimistic future. Sonic and friends join forces with incredible magical girls to save the world together.” Join SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog, the magical girls of Koei/Tecmo’s Blue Reflection series and the lead of Hiro’s Akebi’s Sailor Uniform in an optimistic and wonderful adventure! All concepts of the three works are explained in the fanfiction, so there’s not much, in terms of knowledge and concepts of each, to know a TON of ahead of time to enjoy this work. And in this case… to adapt into an audio drama.

On the character count front, there are 2 new characters (both female) to go along with 17 existing characters already taken, with a potential for more characters to appear as the fanfiction story is a work in progress. Please note that, due to use of I.P.'s, it is, for the moment, an unpaid project. BUT it may blossom into a paid project, depending on certain factors (i.e. popularity, negotiations, how far this story goes, etc.).
REQUIREMENTS
While there is no actual sexual content, there are some implied moments in the fanfiction. There are also no dark topics (but there are dark moments from Sonic and Blue Reflection [Ray especially] that gets referenced and recalled in moments), so in this regard, anyone 13 or over can audition.
If cast you will be sent an invitation to join my private Discord server. This is where you will find all of the scripts with a potential to hold live direction sessions with the director (that would be me). Also, you can interact with me and make some new friends. We are very welcoming here at LGP!
This will be a long-term project, due to the fanfiction being a work in progress and more chapters will be released as time progresses. So please do not audition if you think you may have to leave for some reason.
Have time for live direction sessions if requested. These are one on one sessions if you are not comfortable with live direction please tell me and we'll talk about it.
Communication is key! If you are busy or have to delay a session please tell me first and not last minute.
This project will also be very fast paced as I would like to produce these chapters at least once a month. If you don’t think that's possible for you please do not audition.
AUDITION GUIDELINES
Audio quality is essential. No reverb, pops, hisses or background noise. Any auditions with these will be automatically rejected. XLR microphones are preferred though we will accept USB’s if they are treated well.
No slating.
Maximum of two takes per line. Please do ABC takes. Do not do AA BB CC takes.

A young and lively girl with a prankster streak, Yuki is Rena’s girlfriend and a friend to the Reflectors. With an appreciation for what she calls “quality of life,” Yuki has taken credit for a wide variety of the more adventurous days the Reflectors have had together in the new world. Her energy is infinite, her hyperactivity is in overdrive, and her wanting to do fun things is absolute, but her love for Rena is above it all in how much it fuels her everyday life.
Yuki also has a bit of an unfortunate streak to her name. She used to have a disease that was thought nearly incurable, and was hospital-ridden for a better part of her life. This was to be her destiny, until Rena came through and helped Yuki recover. In that moment, Yuki, who up until now hadn’t felt as strong feelings as she had for Rena before the hospitalizations, had fallen in love with her. The act was enough to bring her and Rena together, which still proves true today as Yuki moved in with Rena and lives her best life with Rena. The two are still figuring out their feelings and what to do next as a couple, but Yuki is confident she and Rena will find their way.
However, Yuki had also been alive for the event known as the Ash Crisis, an event that she does not remember nor knows of. Her past then had taken a much different path than it has now, a fact that Rena may or may not want to find out…

A sociopathic, murderous, and hateful woman, Akuji was once the leader of the widely-known Saint Ines Religion, a group that was once seen as salvation for humanity, until the true workings of their philosophy, and Akuji’s crimes against her daughters and humanity, were all exposed. Now down on her luck and on the run, Akuji fights for herself and herself alone.
Not much is known about why Akuji believes what she did: that the weaklings of the world were people to be extinguished. One thing is for certain however: Akuji created the Saint Ines organization-better recognized as a cult-to drill her philosophy into the minds of millions of young girls in Japan and globally. To that end, she used her daughters, Shino and Kano, as a means to spread this hateful philosophy. When they attempted to escape this abuse and hatred, Akuji murdered Kano and fed her blood to Shino. However, not long afterwards, everything would fall apart as that and many more crimes were exposed to the world, and Akuji’s empire fell. A global manhunt was initiated to track and take down Akuji, but has since gone cold.
Now, Akuji wanders alone, dragging along on the streets she used to own. Her empire will never come back…or can it?
