Sonic RemiX – Episodes 01–26 Casting Call
Project Overview
Sonic RemiX is a new English dub of the anime series Sonic X that aims to be a faithful adaptation of the original Japanese version.
Of course, we are in no way trying to discredited the original dub. Take this as a different take, a “what could be” if things went a little different.
For this project, we are looking for quite a few actors, but some necessities are:
1. Good microphone quality
We’re trying to aim for as close to studio quality as we can, so a good mic quality is expected.
2. Being able to emote well
This series can be very demanding in its more emotional and action-packed scenes, so you need to be able to reflect this.
3. Fun
In the end, this is a passion project, so we should all remember to have fun working together and working on the project!

Knuckles is independent, wild, hot-blooded, tough, and a loner by nature. If Sonic embodies the wind that keeps blowing forward, then the echidna personifies the immobility of a mountain. Due to having lived in seclusion for most of his life, Knuckles is a rather antisocial and reclusive individual. As such, he cares very little about what others think, which makes him bluntly honest, straightforward, and somewhat egotistical.

Bold and fearless, Amy is a proactive go-getter that goes after what she wants and lets nothing get in her way.

Because of her mother's teachings in the importance of manners, Cream is a princess-like figure; she is very polite, graceful and well-behaved. She is similarly well-spoken and does what she is told.

Rouge is a strong-minded female bat with a collected and convivial voice. Nothing short of an enigma, she is a person of many mysteries, always playing an active role on both sides of the truth in many global affairs. Her appeal is very complex, but it is not too far off to describe her as an elusive, mysterious, and mature woman who is true to her desires.

Decoe does not have much in the way of personality, but is somewhat absent-minded, clumsy and stupid, often providing comic relief. He tends to constantly reflect on their constant failures and insult Dr. Eggman behind his back and is constantly irritated by Bokkun.

Bokkun is very childish and immature and loves explosions and desserts. He is slightly sadistic and loves to pull pranks which often involve explosions. His primary job is delivering messages, but he also completes the occasional odd job such as breaking Eggman out of prison or piloting mechs. Bokkun often tries to get Decoe and Bocoe to be his subordinates, which they have not ever gone along with.

Free-spirited and cool-headed, if highly egotistical, Sam is a person who enjoys the thrill of his high-speed trips rather than getting to his destination. According to Amy, Sam is very similar to Sonic in that regard. Usually, he is rather impulsive and has a one-tracked mind, especially when it comes to defending his reputation. However, when behaving professionally, Sam has proven himself to be very insightful. He is also kind and very loyal, as he will not stand and listen to others badmouthing his friends.

Chuck is a good-humored and witty scientist, but circumstances can cause him to behave eccentrically. He means well for his friends and family, and is always willing to aid Chris, Sonic and their friends out whenever they need help or just emotional support. When serious matters are afoot and a point needs to be made however, he will become a very direct and serious man.

Mr. Tanaka is calm, quiet and dedicated to his work. He similarly treats each member of the main Thorndyke family with great respect; in the case of Chris and Nelson, he refers to each of them as "Master". He cares very much for the well-being of Chris and his family, and will do anything to protect them, even if it means sacrificing his life. Sometimes, however, he can be a bit overzealous and nervous when things do not go as planned; whenever he feels that he has let the Throndykes down, he assumes he has shamed himself and does not deserve his job.

Ella hates dirt and untidiness, but nevertheless likes her job as a housemaid. She is generally nice and caring, but it is easy to upset her. Whenever she is angry, she can be quite capable, even piloting the X-Tornado like an experienced pilot. She also hates bullets and rascals, but she is willing to forgive her enemies when she sees improvement in their behavior. She has also shown an aversion to uninvited guests, which she usually attacks or has expelled.

Nelson is caring, helpful, generous, and bright. His luxurious lifestyle and power however, tends to make him take some quirky actions.

Lindsey is a very caring and kind-hearted, yet ditsy mother who only wants what is best for her son and tries to devote as much time as she can to him, even if she usually has no idea of which direction to turn. Chris is nothing short of the most important person in Lindsey's life, and she often buys him presents during her trips. Like her husband though, she can be oversensitive when it comes to Chris. When she does not know where Chris is or how he is doing, she tends to freak out and cry excessively.

A top-secret spy, Stewart is very careful and secretive. However, he is not without sentimental emotions. His assignment as a teacher at Station Square Elementary School, in particular, changed him very much. At first, he was bored with his new assignment, but in time, he grew accustomed to it and felt an obligation to protect his students, like a real teacher and guardian. He took great care of his students, eventually to the point that he willingly disobeyed important orders from his superiors in order to protect his students.

There are two Chrises. One Chris feels like he has to let Sonic go home, while the other Chris doesn't want to part with Sonic.
Danny is impulsive and enthusiastic about the tasks assigned to him. While he strives to maintain a positive attitude, he is a bit too loud and does not always think before he says something. His biggest fear is lizards and all sorts of insects. Danny is also honorable, and even when the opponent he fights defeats him, he can forgive and wish them good luck.

Frances is a good student and a very successful person. She is a cheerful and energetic girl who thrives on dangerous excitement that would leave her other classmates feeling ill. She is happy to take on any challenges and is very decisive. In some situations though, she is very careful and cautious, usually when she has to look after her friends.

Helen is a young girl who, despite being confined to a wheelchair, thrives for adventure. She showed very little fear when Sonic pushed her chair faster than anyone else and carried her up high, laughing when she and Sonic nearly fell off a cliff. She is also a very kind and considerate person. She can talk for a long time and in detail about her life adventures, which are something special to her. Helen is also strongly associated with nature: she has a huge love for flowers and enjoys catching lizards, snakes, and bugs.

It's been several months since our world and Sonic's world became one. Unfortunately the two worlds will seperate soon.
Topaz is a loyal and determined soldier, though easily embarrassed and at times gives up too easily. Rouge often referred to her as an old woman, and Topaz later started striking her back by trying to expose her in public when she was casing a jewelry store to annoy her. She also finds Rouge's greed for jewelry to be tiresome.

As the President's aide, Jerome was determined to maintain the President’s reputation. When Sonic came to Earth though, Jerome became paranoid that Sonic would endanger the President’s job. Jerome's title also gave him a strong sense of entitlement, sometimes abusing his power to take extreme and ridiculous measures to ensure the President’s popularity, such as ordering the army to capture Sonic and force him to attend a victory party the President was throwing at the White House.

Scarlet is usually a very calm and delicate person. She loves her job as a reporter and presents her materials with enthusiasm. She also tries to be very convincing and dislikes giving up.
