Silent Submersion - Horror Game

Silent Submersion - Horror Game

Project Overview

Hello, I'm Will, an indie game developer, and I'm thrilled to introduce our new project, Silent Submersion. We're in the early stages of development and are seeking talented voice actors to breathe life into our atmospheric horror game. This is a passion project that combines game design, directing, and project management—a thrilling creative journey for all involved.

The Game Overview

In the year 2050, the world's attention turns to the mysteries of the deep sea. Players step into the shoes of Dr. Anna Mitchell, a marine biologist and the last surviving member of a research team at the Abyssal Haven, an underwater research facility situated at the bottom of the Mariana Trench. The mystery deepens as players uncover the truth behind the catastrophe that befell Abyssal Haven. An ancient, sentient entity native to the trench awakens, and it yearns to understand humanity in ways beyond comprehension. Dr. Mitchell must make choices that shape her fate and the entity's perception of humanity, all while struggling to survive in the desolate facility.

This game offers a captivating and thought-provoking horror experience, accentuating the isolation of the deep sea and the boundaries of human understanding. With its eerie visuals, unsettling sound design, and choices that matter, Will you embrace the entity's cryptic offer, or defy it?  The choice is yours, but the consequences are profound.

What i am currently looking for:

I am currently looking for a few voice actors to create a few lines for the game in order to help with initial development, I currently don't have any funds to pay towards the project at the moment, but eventually want to make it a playable demo for sale. In its current state it is no where near ready for demo launch. All voice actors will receive proper credit in the game and any promotional materials. You are encouraged to provide links to your social media profiles and Casting Call Club (CCC) for additional exposure.

 Timeline:

Recording and project development timelines will be discussed with the selected voice actors to accommodate your schedules and availability. The entire project is set to finish by December 12th or sooner. The game will just be a Demo, while producing a Vertical slice for possible backing.

For your Audition

  • Above all else, remember to enjoy yourself.

  • Please submit clean recordings (no air conditioners in the background, no fans -- we don't mind performing noise reduction on your files, however too much clean-up reduces the quality of your voice)

  • Feel free to cut your lines to your best/favorite takes. Three is the gold standard.

Thank you for considering our project, and we look forward to working with you to create a unique and thrilling gaming experience.
