Shipbound Summer - Youtube Series
Project Overview
Hey there! Shipbound Summer is an animated Total Drama-inspired competition series. As an indie passion project created by Aahki / SidyviStudios, Shipbound Summer aims to be entertaining & engaging to watch as its cast of 12 characters vie to win the competition, forming friendships and rivalries along the way.
(Note, the video linked is an old intro in a Total Drama art style, but will be revamped for the new series)
Bringing 12+ characters to life via voice acting as a 1 man army would be a superhuman feat, so here we are! We are seeking voice actors to bring these diverse characters to life, so if you have interest, give it a shot! It would be super appreciated! More details on the characters will be listed for each role.
For casting, if you are selected and are interested in reprising this role on an episode-by-episode basis (which the show will be written & created on), you will be messaged and invited to a discord server & we'll talk there. (Communication is generally easier on discord than this website)
Now onto the auditions themselves! For each character there will be 2-3 voice lines for you to perform in any order you choose. It is advised you do a one-for-one read of them as well as one with some of your own flair! (Bring the best out of your character. Be one with them!) If we think you fit another character better than another you may have auditioned for, we'll consider you for them!
Additional notes & criteria about these auditions are as follows. Please:
Leave your contact info (preferably Discord), as well as any demos & singing performances you may have, with your audition post.
Be 18+.
Be professional & respectful to all, but don't be afraid to be silly and have fun.
Have decent audio quality without much background noise. (Audio should sound consistent and clear.)
Be willing to listen to feedback while embracing & becoming the character.
Note some characters are intended to be more mean or villainous than others.
Note these voice roles unfortunately will remain unpaid unless the project does unbelievably well and monetary compensation can be provided.
