Project Overview

Hello, this is Teach! I’m the creator of the With Voices series where I take a game that’s unvoiced and give it the voices it deserves, to make it a fun and watchable show! You may have seen my previous works:

The next series I plan to work on is…Undertale with Voices…However there’s a second series I want to work on that’ll be done alongside Undertale with Voices. A special series that warms the cockles of my heart…


SECRET OF MANA THEATER WITH VOICES

I’m sure there are many of you who know the story. A young boy discovers the Mana Sword and pulls it out, becoming the Mana Knight, destined to save the world. This show has a lot of good things to it, humor, good writing, fun characters, and action! But you know one thing this show DOESN’T have? VOICES! Which is where I come in! I plan to be give this show an extra kick in the pants so that the people who don’t know about it, come to love it, and the people who know and love it enjoy it more than ever!


PROTIP: I prefer my lines to be "More Disney, Less Film"
PROTIP: There are a LOT of roles in Secret of Mana Theater. It's better to try out for more than one.


P.S.: Not sure if there's a limit to roles that can be cast at a single time.  But I'll be adding roles whenever I can until I hit my limit.

  • Casting Call Halfway Done

    Okay. The First half of this audition is over. So I'm gonna start casting some parts right off the bat. 


     The parts of Henry and one of the Scorpion Gang Goons are cast to - Peter Sianis. 

     The parts of Geshtar and Eddie Gibb are cast to Hedonistic Actor 

     The parts of Queen Maude and Undine are cast to The-MoonSquid. 

     The part of Watts and King Henry are cast to Pretty William. 

     The part of Luka has been cast to ALuna2DaPastRemember folks, casting continues until the 25th of September. Go ahead and keep going. I look forward to all your performances.

Synopsis:Autumn is a sprite with a midge-curse and a bad case of amnesia. She was taken in by dwarves after her village was hit with a flood. However, she uses her skills and her cuteness to swindle passersby of their gold. Autumn is the smartest of the three, but is also quite cynical. She also develops a soft spot for Seth down the line.


Voice: Medium to High.  Intelligent, but on the cynical side.

  • I’m surprised he had anything left! I thought he was going to lose it for sure! How ridiculously innocent!

  • The Village Elder would midge me before the show. We used my size to whip up sympathy. After the show, he’d return me to normal size. Unfortunately, he kept the midge mallet on him. When he was blown to bits…

  • We also realized something else. All this time we were looking out for ourselves. I want to be normal sized, and Fawn needs to find her boy-toy. But you…you’re in it for everyone else. You’re trying to save everyone.

Synopsis:She is the one who raised Seth in Potos. However, she’s quite senile and is quite paranoid of trees.


Voice:Old. Has one of those twangy southern accents. Keep in mind, she’s a crackpot.

  • (to Seth) Trees are dangerous. Those pines are so uppity. (to trees) Listen up, you smug bastards! You leave that boy alone! (to Seth) You’re safe now.

  • If you don’t be quiet, you rowdy sack of toothpicks. I’m going to come over there, and steal all the corn from your soup!

  • If a tree comes at you, go for the trunk. That’s where they hide their pants.

Synopsis:The dwarf who runs an item shop. A very dishonest fellow.


Voice:Dwarvish.

  • (Sung to the tune of Stayin’ Alive) We can try, to undertand, the Kippo Times effect on man. Whether you’re a brother or whether-AAAAAAH!

  • The red “X!” He went to get…uhh…stock from another town. He took the escape tunnels but never returned. I think the goblins have him!

Fawn (the Girl)

Synopsis:Fawn is headstrong, brash and single-minded in her goals. If she encountered a locked door and only had a sandwich, she’d eat the sandwich and break down the door. Fawn is also a noble girl from Pandora who is in love with Dyluck, her boyfriend. However, Dyluck is a soldier and gets sent to capture an evil witch. Fawn suspects foul play and sets out to rescue her boyfriend from this suicide mission and plans to let nothing get in the way of her goals…not even Seth.


Voice:Medium low-medium high. Can be mean and bad-tempered.

  • I was looking for someone. I thought you were him. He gets into trouble sometimes. I guess I lose, huh? I’m just kidding. I’ve got to get going. You run home now. Later.

  • What a marvel. Can we get going now? Dyluck is down here, I’d like to rescue him before I’m 90.

  • Imagine a world, where I pummel you into a bloody pulp, day after day, heal you back from the edge of death, just enough to pound you again…(whispering) This could be your reality…

Synopsis:The witch who lives in the haunted forest. She is not happy with having soldiers invading her castle so she holds the soldiers captive. She’s very bitter about her lot in life and decides to seek revenge against the people of Pandora.


Voice:Older, angry. Also has a younger and sweeter voice in flashbacks.

  • How dare you come tromping through my little home! Beating my wolves…burning my chairs… and freeing my prisoners! You should all be ashamed. You should all be punished. Yes, punished. That’s right.

  • Grrrr…. They took everything from me… DIG, YOU STUMPY BASTARDS! I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE! KEEEEHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!

  • Those pesky brats are near… I must begin the spell. I need more time for full power but I must not be interrupted.

Synopsis:Jema is a renowned knight from Tasnica and is part of the Republic and the rebellion forces that are trying to stop the Empire. He carries an air of grace and strength. Throughout the course of the story, Jema helps Seth during his quest….but tends to get rather annoyed at his stupidity.

  • Go meet Sage Luka at the Water Palace. She’s been protecting these lands for 200 years. By the way, I’m Jema. I WILL meet you at the Water Palace. I know where you live.

  • Look, kid. I’m sorry. I know it’s difficult being a young hero. Travel safely. Go with Mana. Be safe from evil. Don’t die. And I know it’s nearly impossible, but try not to do anything too stupid.

  • Big words from a small boy. I thank you. You were my wake up call. When I saw the future in your hands…Well, let’s just say I don’t like to lose. At your age, I was ten times the warrior you are. You couldn’t save a tree from an axe. You couldn’t even protect your friends.

Synopsis: The Guardian of the Water Palace. She’s over 200 years old but doesn’t look a day over 18. She helps Seth get started on her quest.


Voice: Young, but wise.

  • I know, Jema. I can read a newspaper, y’know. Mana is growing weak. That’s why Seth was able to take the sword. This disturbed the local Mana levels, and summoned all the monsters. The monsters look to steal power from the Mana sword.

  • Long ago…the ancients used the Mana Fortress in their final battle. It got out of control, and destroyed them all, and in the end, it as your sword that saved the world.

  • Take this spear with you. Mana guardians used it long ago. It will regain power just like your sword. I mostly use it to catch fish out back, but sometimes I throw it during target practice.

Synopsis: A pair of twin brothers who follow the orders of their boss. As you’d expect, they’re quite dumb.


Voice: Cartoony, doofy, mobster types. These two could be played by one person…or two different people.

  • They beat me up and locked me in this cage! And not just that, they stole supplies from us, and a precious family heirloom!

  • Not just any rock. MY rock. It’s mostly made of gold, and there are diamonds in it. It’s worth a freakin’ fortune.

  • Not yet, we need to regroup. We’ll come back with more weapons. Then we can kill every last one of the filthy bastards.

  • Hey, what did you do to Elliot? He tore through here like a spooked school girl. Only fatter.

  • No. Shut up! I hadn’t planned on anyone getting past the barrier. No ordinary mook could waltz in here. We’re dealing with some very sophisticated mooks. Which means… We’ll have to unleash the secret weapon.

  • Right, we’ll give you half of the gold, if you hold up your end of the plan. We’ll set off for Pandora tomorrow morning.

  • (trying to be sexy) I’m everything you want me to be. (pause) Uhhh, baby.

Synopsis:Seth is a boy from the backwater village of Potos. When he pulls the Mana Sword out of the stone, his destiny changes and he is booted out of the village since it is written that pulling the Mana Sword will be the start of dark times ahead. Seth is best described as having a whole lot of heart, but not a whole lot of brains. He’s not completely stupid, but he does end up doing a lot of dumb shit.


Voice: Friendly. Medium to Medium-high. A little dim-witted, but charming.

  • Timothy, we hardly knew ye. Alas, you have sprung yourself from this twisted mortal coil, and I can say only unto thee, via con God. You were a ray of sunsh-Hey! What’s that over there? Shinies?!

  • You mean the one that destroys the world, rips apart the galaxy, unravels the fabric of space time, causes the universe to implode, and melts baby kittens? That Mana Fortress from the fairy tale?

  • I’m in the Dwarf Village…and I’m the best! I’m the most awesomest Mr. Awesome that ever awesomed this place!

Synopsis:Henry is a lullabud with some alcohol problems. After his wife divorced him, he took out some of his anger on Seth. To make up for it, he joins Seth as a temporary companion.


Voice:Should sound like a normal dude, despite being a flower.

  • Can’t complain. I got a job at the tap and dye factory downtown. The pay is a little low, but the benefits are good.

  • Have you seen a brown, spikey-haired kid?

  • I have a score to settle with you. As part of my 12- step recovering alcoholics program, I need to make amends with those I’ve lashed out against. I’m sorry, boy. I was going through some issues, and I wronged you. Although that is no excuse for my behavior, please accept my apology.

Synopsis:The Queen of Pandora. While Harold rules the roost, she rules the rooster. She’s a great deal more intelligent and compassionate than her husband, and is smart enough to influence her husband in certain ways. She also sports a crush on Seth.


Voice:Adult woman. Level-headed.

  • You might want to calm down. Do you want to have another attack? The kingdom has terrible healthcare.

  • That was no plague! There was a spider on your pillow! All you did was give flyswatters to the royal guards!

  • Hey! I’m the best damn smithy on this continent. I make exceptional weapons. Except…uhh…I have none for sale.

  • (reading from a note) Sorry I’m not in right now, I’ve been kidnapped. Please come back after I’ve been rescued. – Watts.

  • Reforge the Mana Sword for the Mana Knight? After he saves me and the whole village? This one’s on me!

Synopsis:The King of Pandora. He’s a few baskets short of a picnic and needs his wife to help him out. He does however have all the power and has no qualms about using it. While he’s very full of himself, he knows Fawn well enough to fear her.


Voice: Older, kingly.

  • What would you have me do?! I already sealed the gates! Any troops sent after the witch never return! We’re just bloody screwed!

  • You can’t very well reason with a fellow like that. Besides, those houses belong to the commoners. I should hope the brute has enough sense to stay away from the castle. We might have catapults or something.

  • Even after all these years, The Harold Machine still makes them faint!

Synopsis:Seymour is the gardener of the Dwarf Village…which is odd, because he lives underground. Like Seth, he’s not the brightest bulb, but he does have his heart in the right place…most of the time. He also becomes the Dwarf Elder.


Voice:Seymour has a heavy dwarven accent. It’s inconsistent in the script, but it’s better to pick an accent to go with and stick with it.

  • That guy was kind uf a jerk. I hates ta say he’s roit, dough. I’s a mizruhbull gardener. I should just give up…

  • No… I kin’t do it no more… Only now, in dis late hour…have I trooly lernt da folly…of killin’ fer personal gain. Yaar.

  • As your new village leader, I promise to reforge all of the stolen gold, and return the money to its owners. Any of the remaining gold will be given to dwarven charities…or community projects. I vow to return dignity to the title of Village Elder, even if I’m grossly underaged. In short… I swear to serve Dwarf Village the best that I can.

  • Another insipid monarch clawing for power. He’ll never suspect. Not until it is too late. Leave me. I have much to do.

  • What have we here… Young and healthy…A trace of power…And a robust spirit. Yes, you could make a potent vessel.

  • In all things, child, there is a creator. Do you understand that? Everything around you has a beginning. I am the ending. To peace, I am war. To creation, I am destruction. To life…I am death. I am the undoer to all things that are, or ever will be…

  • There, there. Just relax. You’ve been asleep for almost nine hours now… Well, you’re safe and sound now. Back in good old Neko’s inn.

  • I went looking for you, but I was arrested for setting up a shop without a permit. As long as you’re here…want to buy something?

  • What a long day. Not one single customer. Maybe some weary traveler will spend the night. Maybe I need a bigger sign out front…
