You're here for a reason...
What is "Seclusion" ?
Seclusion is a visual novel currently in the works that takes place in a post-apocalyptic 1940's setting, where scientists create an A.I. designed to help humanity learn. However, not everything goes according to plan as the system they created misinterprets their directions and begins to take over mankind.
We follow a small group of survivors that have taken refuge deep in the broken-down city that was Baltimore. Cara, the leader. Nathan, the second-hand man. David, the brawn. Sasha, the homemaker. And now, Matthew.
Part of their story is already complete. Which brings us to you. We need help. Writers, artists, editors, producers. We call out to you in hopes of finding individuals willing to care for this project as much as we do.
What we want from you :
Our expectations are high, but we are willing to listen to you, should you not meet them all. Our writers should have experience in scriptwriting and storytelling. Artists, you should be able to capture a sense of realism with your art. Whether it be for our characters, backgrounds or just concepts. Editors, please come equipped with some sort of editing background as well as professional software for both video and sound. And lastly, our backbone, producers. Your focus will be all over the place. But you won't be on your own, our directors will be by your side along our journey.
Guidelines :
Those are the specifics for each roll, however, there are a few guidelines everyone should fall under.
- To work as a part of the Seclusion crew you must be over the age of 18.
- Preferably you will have a flexible schedule fit for working on the show.
- This will be a long term project spanning multiple seasons.
At some point, a Kickstarter will be launched to help fund our project, which will include payment for you as well. This will be gone into more detail at a later date.

We are looking for writing in more of the horror, thriller genre with some sci-fi elements to it. Some inspirations to writing are shows such as Stranger Things and The Walking Dead.
Our directors will be covering all writing submitted for the project and will possibly go through multiple edits, phases, and drafts before we assign it as a finished piece.

We are looking for writing in more of the horror, thriller genre with some sci-fi elements to it. Some inspirations to other concept artwork have been featured in the explainer video.

Considering this story takes place in the 1940's, we won't be wanting any sounds too modernized and really wanting to dig deep to give the audience a sense of that this is from that specific time era.

What a producer actually does for a given project is elusive because, in many ways, they do everything. Needless to say, a producer’s role is crucial for all workflows in this project. You will essentially be the one to keep everything in check. Communicating back and forth between voice actors, writers, artists, video and audio engineers, and most importantly, our directors. You will help research for multiple ways to improve quality, time efficiency, and hiring to make the project moves along.
Please link, record, or explain your experience in this role on other projects you may have been working on. At the beginning, you will be given a probation period to make sure that trust can be placed in your talents.
