Project Overview
Seclusion is a project currently in the works that takes place in a post apocalyptic 1940's setting, where a scientist creates something designed to help humanity learn. However not everything goes according to plan as the system he created misinterprets his directions and begins to take over mankind.
There are a few things that we ask of anyone who auditions.

1: Please have a good microphone with no background noise.
2: These are all long term parts that require commitment.
3: Have some practice or experience acting in the past.
4: If we ask for it, be okay with redo's.
5: And lastly have discord for ease of communication.

Due to a traumatic past, through out the beginning parts of the series Ian uses his middle name, Matthew. He is the main protagonist of our story and the scientist who dooms the world to its apocalyptic state, thus he must go on living with the guilt weighing him down. For now Matthew is a very timid and socially awkward person having been in isolation for eight years.
The voice we're looking for should sound somewhat in a mid-high range. Preferably just a north-american accent. Feel free to play around with voices.
I.. d-didn’t… I… thought.. I.*Pause for breath* I knew it was long b-but that not that long!! (In the midst of having a panic attack. You're trying to come to terms with how long you've been locked away. But denying the facts.)
I’ve been stuck in a tiny bunker for f- f-... for so long, believe me, this is much better. (The location feels rather old and abandoned, but your reassuring your hosts you are comfortable.)
…….Hello?....... Is someone there? (There was a noise off in the near alleyway, you're alone with nothing but a rusty kitchen knife.)

Sasha is very much so the mom character of our cast, and quite literally speaking as well. Sasha is pregnant for the first season. She treats everyone with respect, she's kind hearted and takes care of most cleaning duties. Before the apocalypse she thought as a teacher for young children.
As for the voice, we'd like something as motherly and homey as possible. At points this character will be having contractions, so be aware of that as you audition.

Good heavens, not as I much as I’d hope to be. Most if not a large majority of my classes I wasn’t even qualified for! Did the best I could for those lambs though…. Anyway that was some time ago.

Odessa wont show up until season 2. She is the mother of one of our lead protagonists and the leader of an organization currently known as "The Perfect Ones". She was thought to be dead to her daughter thus making her an important character for the development of our main cast. She will be one of the main antagonists.
The voice of Odessa should sound similar to that of a mature motherly figure without sounding elderly. She has the tendency to switch between crazy psycho and loving mother.
Cara is pronounced Car-ah
[Caring] Cara… sweetie… you don’t have to worry anymore. You’ll be safe here. You’ve been through a lot I know, but it’s finally all over. [Sad and regretful] Oh.. I wish I had been there for you more.. [Aggressive] But your father he.. That babbling idiot never knew what was good for you. And to not face his own daughter and tell her the truth. Who knows what else he lied about and filled your head with. [Loving] But no worries… now you’re here and we can finally be together. Like it was meant to be.
[Angry and intimidating] He’s lying!!! He’s always been lying to you!! Just like your father! Don’t you see it? He made all this happen. He’s the one who killed your father, he’s the one who destroyed this world, he’s the one who you should point that gun at! [Trying to convince and desperate] I’ve only ever been trying to help this world become the way it should be. That’s what it wants. It wants to learn, it wants to grow, it wants to help us. Everything can be as it should be!

Alan is a character that wont show up until later in the first season. He is a charismatic person who gets his way with deceptive, thought out words. He could be considered a leader amongst his allies of rebels.
He needs to have a confident voice more towards a higher pitch. One that is very charismatic but knows when to be serious.
Well done. Quite the command you have. I like seeing strong leaders, It shows me there are still people in this world worth something. (Seemingly impressed)
Give me the information I asked you for and i’ll decide whether to put my trust in you. After all, how can I tell your an honest man. (Cocky, you've got the upper hand)
It’s true. A swarm bigger than I guarantee you've ever seen. They tore through the walls like they were paper. Our weapons, our defenses, our wills, nothing compared to them. (Like you were telling a war story)
