Small change to the writer's audition
Just something I thought to try and make it seem a bit more interesting to audition for the general writing style that I'm looking for :)
Script Writer and Narrator wanted for RWBY What If videos
Project Overview
I've been wanting to do What If style videos for the RoosterTeeth/VIZ Media web series RWBY, but I haven't been able to focus on actually writing scripts nor would I be able to narrate any scripts (at least, not without cringing and inevitably giving up on editing a video for it)
So, that's where this casting call comes into play! If you're into RWBY and want to have fun with (hopefully) creating What If video niche similar to the kind that are a dime a dozen for Star Wars, I'd love to potentially work with you!
(Writer) REQUIREMENTS
- Proper Grammar and Spelling are required (although mistakes are fine and I imagine we can correct each other if there are any mistakes)
- Writing must be in English (maybe if this experiment does well, I'll look into getting a writer for multilingual scripts, but for now I'm sticking with English)
(Narrator) REQUIREMENTS
- Any accents are fine, but you must be fluent in English (like I mentioned earlier, maybe in the future I'll look into doing multilingual What Ifs, but for now I'm sticking with English)
(Writer and Narrator) REQUIREMENT
- Be interested in and familiar with RWBY or willing to learn about the series (both from episodes as well as the RWBY Wiki)
- Leave your Discord in your audition or state if you'd prefer to share it after you're cast (failure to do either of these will DISQUALIFY your audition, but you can re-audition if you follow this rule)

For this role, I just need someone who's interested in RWBY and doesn't mind scrubbing through episodes to try to accurately portray changes for whatever What If is actively being worked on at any given time (I'll also scrub through whatever episodes too, this role is very much for an assistant, as I want to try and use this idea to get better at writing as well)
For your auditions, I'd like you to write a what if based in RWBY that you think would be interesting, preferably in a similar style to the two what if channels I've linked below!

Like with the script writer/assistant role, the main requirement is that I need you to either be interested in RWBY or don't mind learning about it if you haven't watched it before (and while you don't have too, maybe even scrub through episodes with me and the script writer if we miss something)
For narration audition, since I don't have anything specific to this casting call, just send whatever narration styles you've done that you think would fit a sort of recap/storyteller type of narration :)
And just like the script writer box, this final thing in this role will just be linking two Star Wars What If channels that you can either take as inspiration when looking for an audition or you can ignore them if you so wish!
